“I have heard much about you,” the Uthraki said in curious tones. “You have made quite the mark upon my realm.”
“Your realm? Who are you?” Jonathan replied.
“I am Altus Enderon, First Lord Protector of this Realm of Tartarus. And you are a trespasser in my land. We tolerated Granath because of his strength, but you appear to be a weakling.”
“I am no weakling. I simply do not see a need to posture with my aura,” Jonathan said mildly.
A moment later, he let loose. A dome of purple light, mingled with gold, expanded outwards from his body, sweeping over the Uthraki. Altus raised an eyebrow, but the other Uthraki fell to their knees. However, Jonathan could see that the man was far more shaken than he appeared, going by the minute shudder that ran across his body, only hidden so well by his high level.
“So you speak the truth. Interesting. However, no matter how strong you are, I cannot simply let you sully the sacred grounds with your unclean body. My faith will not permit it.”
“Well, we do not share the same faith. That seems to be quite a flaw in your certainty. I know that the gods of Telvaria are real, but are your gods real? Have they ever shown themselves to you? Do you even know that you are all merely pawns of the System, made in order to facilitate the growth of circle lords?”
As Jonathan spoke, the Uthraki leader’s face had grown redder and redder, until he finally snapped.
“ENOUGH! HERETIC, YOU HAVE BEFOULED THIS LAND! I WILL END YOU HERE AND NOW!”
The Uthraki leaped off his corvian mount, and drew a pair of swords from sheaths on his back. One of them glowed with a red light, and the other with a yellow light. He crossed the swords in front of himself, and then blurred forwards, energy racing up and down his legs. Jonathan raised his fists to block, and he parried the incoming blow, kicking his enemy as he stumbled backwards. The Uthraki did not even flinch, and he thrust his swords into the earth.
The ground began to rumble, and a pillar of stone rose underneath the Uthraki followed by a font of lava that spilled across the plain. The two substances began to mix, and out of their combination, a golem took shape. It was a masterwork, a clear model of a Uthraki warrior. Its swords were sharp, and its face matched that of Altus. Every movement that the man made, the golem followed. It was quite clear who had made the corvians now. It was an interesting skill set, to say the least.

Jonathan watched as the other Uthraki gathered around the construct’s feet, starting to pump their elemental energy into the golem, empowering it. Veins of red ran up the length of the construct, and it began to grow, in bulk rather than height. Its muscles became even more defined, and it roared out loud, projecting a cone of force.
Both blades came down in unison, moving far faster than such a large creature had any right to. Altus laughed as he swiped, and the swords struck the ground like meteors, cracking it wide open for hundreds of feet in every direction. Jonathan leaped over the attack, but there was nowhere to land. Instead, he was forced to grab onto the side of one of the cracks, and heave himself out of it. He rolled out of the way of another strike, but it came dangerously close to hitting him.
Jonathan ran towards the golem’s feet, but it kicked forwards, the end of its foot slamming into his chest. Caught unawares by the attack, Jonathan was sent rocketing into the sky. A glint formed in the golem’s eyes, and then both swords were hurtling towards him. Unable to dodge, Jonathan instead triggered Greater Smite. Golden energy limned his form as he filled his body with the power of the gods, and his strength skyrocketed.
As the blades came in, Jonathan reached out, and vaulted on top of them, narrowly missing being sliced in half. As the blade continued, he ran along its length, leaping off at the halfway mark to attack. Altus stood on the top of his construct, amazed at Jonathan’s speed. However, as he approached, the Uthraki warlord did not falter. He continued to draw power from the other Uthraki, and with a sudden turn of speed, one of the swords had reversed its course, and was heading towards Jonathan once more.
He snarled, and grabbed onto the golem’s stony flesh, heading towards Altus. The man would not be stupid enough to attack himself, right? Instead of stopping though, the swords only sped up, and Jonathan found himself sandwiched between the Uthraki and the sword. In a stunning display of agility, the Uthraki swept his sword in just the right manner to scoop Jonathan off the golem, without striking himself. Bones broke as the fifty foot long blade made contact, but to Jonathan’s satisfaction, the blade also cracked.
He was sent flying, but this time he was ready for the follow up strike. As his wounds healed, he summoned the Void. A dome of nothingness expanded outwards as the second sword neared, destroying it completely. The Void erased every last trace of the weapon, leaving the golem missing part of its hand as well. Jonathan smiled, and landed a few seconds later, dashing towards the gaggle of Uthraki milling around the feet of the golem. It was time to remove them from the equation.
Jonathan leaned backwards, drawing as much stamina as he could into his right arm. With a shout, he slammed his foot down, and channeled the Void into it. A wave of nothingness exploded outwards in a cone, erasing the Uthraki standing in his way. A seventy foot long chunk of earth was erased down to about ten feet deep, cutting off the base of the golem’s feet in the process. The stone quickly roiled up to replace the damage, but every single one of the Uthraki were dead.
