Dive 53: The Game Begins

Short summary of the last chapter:

Spoiler :

Voice figured out which god was linked to each stat, and was given several boons to not say it in the mortal realm. Voice bought many healing and ritual items from Susan. He also got a notice saying he had summoned the rest of his fairies.

Also, let me know if anything is wrong with the chapter! Be sure to comment!

And if you like a character in the chapter let me know! I can add them to later chapters if they are popular enough. Although I might add them later anyway!

Voice’s POV

I summoned each of my fairies. Categorizing them according to which element gave bonuses to which stat.

I stopped for a moment. I recounted them. I noticed a sever lack of darkness fairy. I checked over my traits. It did say that I had summoned all eight. Didn’t it?

I was more confused than anything. I didn’t understand how I got that trait if I only had seven of the eight fairies.

Ancestor, did I summon a dark fairy at any point?

“No, that thing must have done something to summon one for you. Or perhaps it has to do with the amulet Davros gave you.”

I thought on it for a bit, then decided to ask Davros. Although he would probably charge for the information.

“DAVROS!”

I heard a deep, ominous voice. “Yes oh master! What can do for you?”

The sarcasm was palpable.

“I need your help.”

“Obviously. You know it’s going to cost you, right?”

“Name your price.”

I could hear the smirk in the little fucker’s voice. “You sent the message, that was good, now I want you to call off Kretchof. He has been hurting one of my minions quite a bit.”

I stare flatly at the empty space. “Your minion has been trying to kill me. I can’t call Kretchof off unless you can assure me that you will call your pet off of me. I give you permission to speak to him this once, only to tell him to no longer attack me.”

“Fine. Asshole. I hope you get bored as fuck though.”

I called off Kretchof from the demon army. He seemed curious as to why, but didn’t question me. I was happy about that. I didn’t have the time to explain.

Davros spoke to me again. “The amulet I gave you basically fulfils the requirements of summoning a tier four undead fairy. For you to have an actual fairy, you need to fill up all three slots, then sacrifice two of them. The remaining slot will become your tier four fairy. Although, you will lose the ability to use the amulet.”

“Does that mean I have to sacrifice the wind guy?”

“Fraid so bukko. Although, since I think it will be fun to see your internal struggle, have a gift. If that’s ok? And don’t worry, Mar can’t see you right now. Even I can’t see you. I won’t know what you’ve done until you leave whatever room you are in.”

“Yeah.” Suddenly the body of a small child appeared before me. Obviously Davros wanted to see how I’d react to having to resurrect a child.

Without any hesitation, I raised the child from the dead. Without looking at the notifications, I sacrificed the child and wind guy.

It wasn’t as if I had any real connection to either of them. Although I’d have to make up some sort of excuse if I ever go back to that place.

Kretchof appeared out of nowhere. “Wha” Before I could even ask anything, he began glowing.

Davros’ tone was less than pleased. “You know you are the chosen of Mar right? Why the fuck are you so ready to sacrifice people for your own gain? That’s fucked up man.”

The amulet began to glow, and lifted itself off of my neck. I watched with interest. The necklace flew to Kretchof, and landed gently around his neck. A burst of dark light blinded me.

For declaring full ownership of: Minor Lich Kretchof, Kretchof will benefit from your darkness affinity. Minor Lich Kretchof’s mana is set at ([player mana] * [Darkness Affinity]). Mana set to: 2700.

For sacrificing two rank three darkness fairies, Kretchof has become a rank four darkness fairy. Kretchof’s class will be based on the character’s class. Minor Lich Kretchof has become Mana Lich Kretchof.

Mana liches are a rare breed of lich. Mana liches can absorb darkness mana around them to speed up recovery after death. Mana liches have the power to temporarily summon rank 1 darkness fairies to assist them.

Mana Lich Kretchof Level 35

Slaver GuardHealth: 450/450Stamina: N/AMana: 2700/2700Commanded By:Voice0fReason

Wow, I’m not even mad that I was tricked for so long. Holy fuck.

The fact that Kretchof was a darkness fairy didn’t even bother me. What did bother me a bit was the look on the kid’s face after I revived him.

The look of hope and longing wasn’t enough to stop me from sacrificing him though. I did start to question whether he was sentient though. Too late. I had already done it.

Kretchof bowed. “Master. I am very happy to see you.” The lich grinned in a crude imitation of a smile. “I have gained several new abilities since you’ve chosen to upgrade me!” Kretchof was obviously happy to get chosen as my fairy.

I had him list all of his new abilities. The most interesting of which was to create Soul Binding Contracts. Each one that he made cost me 100 maximum mana until I disbanded the contract. That meant I could conceivably make 27 at once, if I was willing to have no mana for the entire time.

I had him create four though. That way I could have a little wiggle room. I could always disband the contract if I needed the mana back.

The best part about it was I could choose how much it said when I made it. After that, I could alter what it said at any time.

The group of fairies seemed basically like a tactical swat team. A poorly trained, unequipped swat team, but a swat team non the less.

I looked over them all. I devised several different contingency plans. Most of them being centered on a battle royale type of contest. Although an obstacle course type was planned for as well. Survival types would be the easiest though.

My tactics skill even showed me a small flaw in my reasoning at one point. I was planning on using Tear for most of the hit and runs.

Tactics pointed out that using Drake to cause a bit of DOT (damage over time) then making Tear use the jellyfish poison would be more optimal.

I told each of the fairies their respective jobs. The metal fairy, Golem, was mostly going to stay beside me and the earth golem, Eli. He would provide any muscle in case we needed to confront another group. Eli would obviously be in charge of my protection.

Tear and Drake, the fire fairy, would mostly be used as tactical assault units. They would be in charge of distracting the enemy, and causing short term damage.

Both the nature fairy, Moro the monkey, and the wind fairy, SparrowHawk, would be the ones to help me navigate through whatever thing we had to do.

After a little probing, I found out that my fairies could communicate with each other and me telepathically. That was going to be more useful than any other single ability they had.

Kretchof was in charge of creating escape paths, and making a useful army if possible. Sol was utility, and healing. Sol could guide me in dark places, and be a distraction in an emergency.

I tested to see if Heather could still speak to me. I sent her a message. “Heather? Can you hear me right now?”

Her voice was loaded with sarcasm. “No. This is someone else.”

I decided to ignore the out of character response for now. “I need you to gather me ingredients. If that’s ok. I need the usual, wolf meat and vegetables. I’ll make sure to reward you for it later.”

I didn’t know why Heather was so uppity, but I had to placate her. Else I risked a drawn out explanation. “Please?”

“… Fine. But it better be a good reward.”

I’d have to make her feel a little bit of pain later. To remind her who was boss.

I quickly received the requested items. While she was gathering I sent Susan a message. “So the head guy says you are not coming back when you leave today. What time do you leave?”

I got a message a few seconds later. “What? I’m supposed to be waiting in the forest after I finish selling today.”

My ears perked up. Hold the fucking phone. “Well, he must have misspoke. Do you know where you are going to be stationed? And how are you going to get new supplies?” Using an NPC was not against my morals.

A minute later another reply came. “Well, he said it was a secret, but he never said not to share it. One sec a customer is here.”

Another few minutes later I started making the food, and received a reply. “All I know is that, for the next month, several other-worlders are doing some sort of game specific to them. I am going to be stationed in the forest to sell to them.

Although they said I would be hidden away. The other-worlders will have to find me.” She sent me a small picture. It was a very crude map. On the map was a small dot labeled ‘me’.

So not only is the merchant my friend, I now know what we are going to do, AND have a map!? It fucking pays to have friends. Although this wouldn’t have happened if they didn’t pick from Rand.

I thanked her for the info, and told her I’d be there to visit her soon. I also ask her to hint to the other players that someone would be in the area to buy and sell goods.

Though I specified that she shouldn’t tell them it was her, nor where she would be located. After the chat, I had enough food to make several good stews.

I told Heather she could do whatever she wanted, and asked her if there was anything I could get her. She said she’d think on it.

I cooked a bit of food I had. Food is the best way to entice most people into trusting you. If you can make some really good tasting food, then you can make friends a lot easier.

With all eight of my slaves fairies ready to go, I returned to the chamber where we were all supposed to gather.

Obviously I recalled all of my fairies first. I also let Kretchof go about messing with the dungeon while I didn’t need him.

I also put on a disguise before I left. That way I could at least try to investigate a bit. If someone figured out I was by myself, then they would be looking for a guy that looked like my disguise.

I disguised myself as a dark skinned female. The disguise wasn’t perfect, mostly because I had no experience in being a girl. Most guys would be more willing to help out a cute girl, rather than a slightly attractive guy.

I made sure to triple check every aspect of my disguise. I had b-cup breasts, and an overall medium to skinny frame. I wanted to increase my attractiveness even more, but I received a notice that I would become easy to distinguish if I changed any more.

I went around to talk to the people. I chose the group that was made up of four guys. They looked like they were the kind of guys that were lonely. They each had overly flashy armor, and overly buff avatars.

“Hey boys.” Luckily my voice had turned into one that sounded like an innocent, yet seductive person. I picked a name that my inspect had told me. It was the person I assumed was the leader, he was part of the group of ten. The largest, and therefor weakest group. “Alex4Eva told me to try to make some friends. So what level are you guys?”

I already knew their levels, but I needed to act the part of the pretty but only slightly more intelligent than average woman.

They disregarded me, and went back to their conversations. I brought out a bowl of my wolf meat stew. The smell was amazing. I let them sit for a moment before getting a spoon.

I slowly start eating one. After a few bites, I looked back at the group. Two of them were hungrily looking at the bowls, one was impassive, and the last was outright drooling.

After swallowing I asked, “Do you all want some? Alex told me to only give it out to people that join my pact though…” I looked down at the food. Sad that I couldn’t just give away the deliciousness. Alex might get mad.

“I guess I could give you all a taste…” I say suggestively. “Although I don’t know if I can handle that many at once.” I frowned a bit. Imitating a cute pout.

The ‘impassive’ one spoke up. “Well, *Ahem* what would we have to do to show that we want to join the pact?”

I put the tip of my tongue on my upper lip. As if trying to think. I create a small twinkle in my eye when I ‘realize’ where I put the contracts.

I took out the four contracts. Earlier I had made them say the simple, ‘I ___ will not attack nor in anyway hinder any member of ____’s group.’

I didn’t put my name yet. I couldn’t have them figuring out I lied before I could get them to sign the contracts. I told them that neither of our groups would be able to harm each other after they signed it. Of course that was a lie.

They put their names, and I told them to sign it now. “I forgot to ask Alex what the name he wanted on them was. Sorry.” I made an apologetic pouty face.

I shrugged. They signed it, despite being slightly suspicious. Obviously they didn’t know what a Soul Binding Contract was. All the better for me.

I smiled as I happily handed them bowls of delicious wolf stew. The ate as if they were starved. I heard one say, “Wow, a pretty girl that can cook? We should see if she wants to spend some time with us.”

The group laughed in a disgusting way. Fucking pigs. You are barely better than rapists. I hid my disgust from the pathetic tools.

After thanking them, I made up an excuse to leave. “Sorry, but I really need to find the name Alex wants me to use on these.” I made my excuse, while collecting the tableware the man-pigs had used.

I’d have to use Drake and Tear to make super-heated water to sterilize them. I guess I was lucky in that I could create tableware for one in only a few minutes of concentration.

After leaving the group, I planned on how to use the contracts to gain some leverage, or help in the game to come. I could always sign my name since they already signed it, but selling them to another team, then destroying them, would be the best option in my opinion.

I went back to my room, and changed my disguise. I changed names again. This time I was a taller gentleman in a suit. I could easily have been mistaken as a butler. With the four contracts I set out.

I had Ancestor take over inspecting the groups, while I acted as if I were waiting for something. Ancestor pointed out a small group of people that were more anxious than anything else.

I walked over to them, while smiling. “Hello gentlemen, my leader, Gustav, told me to make some friends.” The look of outright hostility was endearing.

“I was told to trade these.” I showed them the Soul Binding Contracts that were already filled out. They didn’t seem to know what they were. Seriously! Come on! How can no one know what these are?

In a calm demeanor, I explained the contracts, and what they did. “These contracts cannot be negated, and force the people that sign it to obey whatever commands are on it. If they do not obey, the contract will suck the life force out of the offending party.”

They were obviously more interested now. “These are our most powerful members. If you have these, and our team attacks you first, they will all die. Now, I’m willing to trade these to you, but I’ll need something in return. What do you say?”

They began to quickly speak in hushed tones. They kept glancing at the contracts. Having one of the more powerful groups promise to not attack you was almost too good to be true.

They eventually came to an agreement. One of them stood up, and put a pouch down on the table. “Here, we’ll give you this for all four. There is about 15 gold in there.”

“Fifteen gold? Each one of these could go for twice that.” I allowed my voice to get a bit agitated. “If you are here to waste my time I’m leaving.” I huffed and turned around, ready to leave.

The man that stood up grabbed my arm. Frowning he said, “Alright! Hold on for a second! Geez no need to get so angry. We’ve never seen those before we had no idea what they were worth.”

I rolled my eyes as they conversed once more. I was hoping to at least double the amount of money I would make. Even if I made just the 15, I’d make a profit.

I was planning on making three of the ten groups hate each other. That would make it much easier on me. Since that douche basically told everyone to attack me.

The man came back with a more attractive offer. “Alright, how about this?” He put down another 15 gold, and a quiver.

Ancestor told me, “That quiver is enchanted to hold a limitless amount of arrows. Although the weight will still be applied.”

Not bad, probably not worth 90 gold though.

I looked disdainfully at the quiver. I slowly shook my head and sighed, as I looked down a bit. The men were waiting for my response. “Alright. Alex just told me to get you all to give items that showed you were sincere in our pact. I guess these will have to do.” I pocketed the items, and left. I returned to my white room.

I finalized my plan with the contracts, and went over everyone’s job again. After I was sure they could all recite each other’s jobs, I disbanded my disguise. I applied the human Voice0fReason disguise.

I returned to the room. Everyone was conversing. Most likely trying to forge alliances for whatever was soon to happen.

Freaking peons. At least be more subtle about it. Everyone is going to know who is teamed up with who a this rate.

Obviously I knew some of these teams were doing this to throw the others off, but most people aren’t that smart. With my preparations complete, I started to randomly debuff people to see their reactions.

My maximum mana was at 2300 right then. I released all but ten of the nature buffs I had to keep myself awake. I used the rest of the 790 mana to cast permanent debuffs on people.

For the first two people I used blind, then I used slow on the next two. I released one of the blinded fellows, and cast rigid on another. Then I cast weakness on the guy I had released from the blinding.

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

Watching everyone start to freak out was a good way to pass the time.

Eventually I had to end my fun, as the announcer man had returned to the podium. “*Ahem*Welcome everyone to the first ever Other-Worlder Challenge Week!” He waited for applause, but only got a spattering of sympathy clapping.

“Today will mark the first day of the games. The games will be simple. You will all be put into a location specifically chosen beforehand. Each of the groups will be given a single item that would be required or living, like enough food for your group for a week.

Afterwards, you will all be charged with killing the other teams. For this game only, player killer status will not activate. If two or more groups form an alliance, the group in the alliance with the most points will get first place when the game is over.

Points are awarded based on the rank of the person you kill. The lowest rank person is worth 10 points. Each rank above that is worth double the points of the one before.

The game is over when everyone but one alliance or group remains, or the entire 35 days has expired.” He looked around at the group.

“Please be advised that once you die you are disqualified from the tournament. You will remain in this room, or in your white room.”

He put a finger in the air, as if he just remembered something. “Ah! And we have here, a freebie from DI!” He smiled as he pressed a button only he could see.

My inventory blinked. Inside was a blue emblem. ‘Name Change Tablet’.

“Since all of you will be living in Solun for such a long time, the company decided to let you change your names. That way you will be less inclined to answer only to names like Alex4Eva when you get back into the real world.”

He looked around for a moment, “Game start!” He threw his papers in the air. They covered the entire room.

As I swatted one away from my face, I felt wind blowing. I looked around. I was surrounded by a dense forest. I could barely walk between the trees. The undergrowth was thick, and filled with bushes and vines. On top of that were the thorn vines that seemed to be everywhere.

My mana had started to funnel into my stone tablet, rapidly filling it in. I closely examined my surroundings.

“Inspect does not pick up any life signs in the general area. I suggest moving to higher ground, so we can better view the overlay of the forest.”

I used my upgraded inspect on my flying squirrel ring.

Ring of Flight *ArtifactThis ring was crafted by a powerful Ancient Elf animal tamer/enchanter. When wind mana is channeled through this ring the user will develop a body similar to the Pteromyini, or flying squirrel.

This ring has an activation cost of 50 mana. It requires 25 additional mana per second to maintain the form. If your mana runs out while the ring is in use you will be forcibly be reverted back to your original form.

Any items, weapons, and armor the user has will be unequipped while the ring is active. The items will be re-equipped when the ring deactivates.

You have enough Nature affinity to use this ring to its maximum potential. Because of this you will not be stunned for three seconds before and after each activation of this ring.

You don’t not have enough Wind affinity to use this ring to its maximum potential. Because of this you will less control over your flight.

With my enhanced nature affinity I would no longer be stunned when I used the ring. It only cost 25 mana per second, and I generated 22.9 when not allowing any to flow into my stomach. My mana was at 790 at the moment, because of my buffs and the contracts. I’d be able to keep it up for about 5 minutes and 50 seconds.

Not a bad amount of time. Although if I could meditate while flying…

I had figured out my first mission. I would learn to calm my mind even while flying and maneuvering. I activated the ring. I started to meditate to regain the missing 50 mana.

*Attention*

An update has occurred.

Item, player and skill levels, drops have been adjusted.

Red players, those that kill non-hostile NPCs or Players, will have a 25% chance to drop any item upon death. Additionally, they will have a 50% chance to drop rare-unique items upon death. Finally they will have a 100% chance to drop any item above unique, unless otherwise stated, upon death.

White players, those that don’t kill non-hostile players or NPCs, will have a 1/5 of the chance of a red player to drop the associated items.

New Races have been discovered!

Non-Humanoid races are now playable.

I was interested in the update. Not only because of the drop rate adjustment, but because it appeared while only a few people were playing.

I had lost the Red status a little while ago, so I wouldn’t have a super high chance of item loss. I still didn’t plan on dying though.

After regaining my mana, I pushed myself high into the air. I let my pseudo-wings catch me. I flew up to about fifty feet. I floated down slowly. Minus the wind gust I used to get myself up in the air, I had used 21 mana. So I floated down for about ten seconds.

I had used a hundred mana to push myself up in the air. I pushed myself up with 200 mana. It cost an additional 42 mana to float down this time.

With some quick calculations, I figured out each second of floating would cost a total, including the initial push, of about 12.1 mana. With my 790 mana I could maintain the glide for about a minute.

That wasn’t a lot of time to do my experiments, but I could always recharge my mana in-between each of the experiments. If I didn’t meditate right after though, I’d have to reactivate the ring. Although I didn’t see anything about a limit per day.

I looked at a notice that appeared. I hadn’t really done anything, so it had to be some sort of additional update.

For repeatedly demonstrating higher ability in Mathematics, you have gained the skill: Calculate.

Calculate

Current Level: Novice Level 3 Exp 0.00%

This skill aids the user in quickly doing calculations.

Each level in this skill will increase the difficulty of equations you get assistance with. For every rank you increase this skill, it will increase the speed of calculations.

This skill will aid in calculations the user could normally make. This skill scales in power with Logic. For every 10 Logic this skill gains one level, up to level 100.

Can currently be fused to skill ‘Automatic’.

I could fuse the skill to Inspect, but I didn’t. I first fused the skill to automatic.

Automatic Calculation

Current Level: Novice Level 3 Exp 0.00%

This skill aids the user in quickly, and automatically, doing calculations.

This skill will automatically calculate variables based on what the user is focusing on.

I could fuse both skills to Inspect, so obviously I did. The notification I got was both hard to believe, and gratifying.

Long Distance Inspection

Current Level: Expert Level 75 Exp 00.00%

This upgraded skill allows you to use the benefits from: Identify, Identify Compatible Skills, Identify Skill, Sense Potency, Automatic Sense Potency, Sense Skill Potency, Mana Sight, and Aura Sight, Sense Motive, Sensory Perception, Search, Track, Taste, Spot, Search, Listen, Body Language Analyst, Detection, Detect Price, Calculate, Automatic Calculation.

You can inspect anything. The higher the level of Inspect the more information you gain on the thing inspected. You must be able to see the thing to inspect it.

To level this skill you must do an action that would be encompassed in one of the skills that were consumed to make this skill.

This skill can be toggled to automatic. If you wish to toggle this skill to automatic say: ‘Toggle skill Inspect to Automatic.’ To toggle skill to manual say: ‘Toggle skill Inspect to Manual.’

This skill has been upgraded to encompass more skills. The exp and level will not be adjusted, but the exp requirement will be.

You have fused more than 15 skills together in the Group Skill: Inspect.

Inspect has gained 10 levels, maximum of 100.

Inspect now works at a distance. The distance Inspect works at is equal to 10 times the level of Inspect.

Many sub-skills of Inspect have evolved.

You have fused more than 20 skills together in the Group Skill: Long Distance Inspection.

Long Distance Inspection has increased in rank. All sub-skills of Long Distance Inspection have risen accordingly.

Long Distance Inspection will now automatically calculate variables the user focuses on.

“The massive amount of info Inspect is giving me has increased quite a bit. I don’t think a normal mind can actually handle all of this information.”

Taking that as a challenge, I took inspect from Ancestor.

Ancestor was right. Before I could see quite a bit about every general thing around me. Now inspect was showing me fucking ‘approximate densities’ for fuck’s sake! A gust of wind blew gently in front of me. It even showed the 3mph speed of the wind!

My head soon started hurting from all of the information being shoved in. I forced the skill back on Ancestor. How can you handle that?

Ancestor never ceased to impress me.

“Heh, well I’ll have you know I was one of the researchers on the ‘godly ascension’ program. We developed a skill very similar to this. Although more refined. Then again, it couldn’t go quite as far as yours. Still it’s not bad for a random fusion of skills. The great goddess surely blessed you with that skill.”

After I felt I had been impressed for long enough, I began my flight experiment.

For the next hour I practiced my meditation while gliding.

The first dozen attempts ended in total failure. Since I made sure to make the glide just less than the maximum, I still managed to maintain enough mana to keep going. Once I touched the ground I meditated, and kept going.

The next two dozen were only barely better than the first dozen. On my 13th attempt, I managed to, for only a moment, enter into the meditative state. After that, I could get in the meditative state during each of my flights. I could only maintain the state for a moment though.

I had spent fifty minutes at that point. Ancestor gave me a warning after my 36th try. “Voice, the inspect is picking up life signs heading this way, five. At their current rate, they will be here in about fifteen minutes.”

It can even calculate the speed of target’s far away? That’s an insane amount of compatibility between the sub-skills.

I became slightly scared. Not of my skill, nor of the approaching people. No, I began to fear a skill based player class. If someone managed to get the skill fusion ability, and had a skill based class, they could wreak untold havoc.

When it came down to it, nothing could beat someone with every skill at level 100. They would have every skill, from every class, so could do anything.

Even if their stats were lacking, they could easily make up for it.

I used the next ten minutes to continue my tests. When it became obvious I wasn’t getting anywhere, I stopped.

After getting my mana back the last time, I summoned SparrowHawk. “SparrowHawk, I need you to create a large gust of wind ok? I need you to push me into the air.”

SparrowHawk bobbed in place for a second. A large wind suddenly hit my suit. I was sent hurtling into the sky. SparrowHawk desummoned itself. Sol spoke to me. “SparrowHawk used all of the mana possible to push you. You won’t have a wind fairy for a few hours.”

As I flew, I saw the people that were coming towards where I just was. The five people would probably be very confused that I had suddenly disappeared. Unless one of them saw me leave.

Thinking back on it, I probably should have been more careful in my experiements. Oh well. Too late now.

After about five minutes of flying, I began to look for a place to land. It would take them several hours to reach where I was. After finding one, I planned on how to land while keeping my dwindling amount of mana from turning to zero.

“Voice, the new calculate ability has kicked in.”

A large red arc appeared in front of me. “If you follow that, then you should be able to land safely.”

Since it went to the area I wanted, I decided to follow it. It took a little over a minute to land. As I was about ten feet from the ground, the ring deactivated. ‘

I was thrown in a tumbling motion. I hit the ground, but not as hard as I had expected. I landed with only a small oomph. The ground was a lot softer than I had anticipated.

I stood up and looked around. I was in a small clearing. There were super-densely packed trees surrounding it. The clearing itself was only big enough for a cottage, and have a small yard. I sat in the middle, concentrating on creating a stone house.

The first time I made the house took half a day, this time it was a lot quicker. The mana seemed, for lack of a better word, obedient. It gleefully moved according to my wishes. The way it was going, it only took two hours to create the house and moat.

It might have even taken less time, but I pulled the earth mana from near the trees. That way I would have more space if someone broke through them. The soft ground provided me with a better place to sleep, but also meant I had to take more mana from around the trees to actually build the entire house.

The biggest help was Eli, my earth fairy. After giving the instructions to help me pull earth mana, while forming a moat, I received enough supply of mana to not even need to pull any myself. Of course I still did, after all I wanted the process to be as quick as possible.

After filling the entire moat with water, aided by Tear, I took out several of my seeds. The green healing herb and common weed, were the ones I chose. I replaced the other seeds. I improved the quality of a few of them, but I felt drowsy after.

Even with my buff, staying awake for two full days was hard. After increasing the potency of those few, I instructed Moro to plant them, and feed them with a stream of nature mana.

I didn’t know if my fairies could combine mana, but I taught both Moro, and Sol, how much mana to put into each one to make them grow in only a day.

Hopefully it would work. I decided to change my name after I released myself to sleep. I released my buffs, and was instantly overtaken by blackness.
