Chapter 2 chase
I’m experiencing a serious crisis…
In light panic I ran though the back alleys jumping over boxes, drunken people lying sleeping on the ground, more boxes and garbage, but still my pursuers are on my tail not willing to give up.
“What a pain… a workout right in the morning! What cruelty! Let me sleep more!”
*sight*
Let me go a few minutes back in time…
I was like always lazing on one of my favorite spots in town, a flat rooftop, but not any flat rooftop! The owner of the house loves plants so the whole out and inside is decorated with them, but that’s not all!
The roof is basically a small forest with all kinds of greenery and colorful flowers, but the highlight of it all is the tree in the small garden standing right next to the house overshadowing it, it’s not just great to sleep on the branches, but it also perfectly shades the roof not too much but also not too little, the perfect shadow to sun ratio!
Anyway, as I was lying there peacefully, one with the world, I got mercilessly attacked!
I don’t understand why the owner of this beautiful home lets such unsensible beings in!
It’s the only flaw in this otherwise peaceful location, truly a shame…
I sprung up and started running with all my might, but as you can see, they are persistent, even laughing having fun chasing me!
Do they see my desperate attamed to escape as a game of tag!
How I would love to freeze them!

I turned my head for a moment to glare at them, but of course these little unempathetic beings wouldn’t understand my annoyed, slightly pissed and distressed look in the eyes…
I sighed again then jump from one box to another onto a roof, I stopped for a moment to check if they finally gave up “after all I jumped quite high there is no way they can follow-“
“They truly are monsters!”
They caught up to me in an instant! “Are you sure you aren’t cats in disguise.” I thought to myself, while starting to run again…
“There is only one way to escape them now…”
Good thing I already run into the right direction.
After a few minutes I arrived at the familiar sign, I glanced back at the tiny beings in the distance, they would soon catch up to me.
“How much stamina do they have!”
With all my might I loudly meow and spring with my front paws against the closed door.
“Emergence! Open the door! They are almost here! Emergence!” of course all that could be heard were the desperate distressed meows of a cat.
Then the door opened, the calm man looked at me half asleep and yawningly ask “What’s up so early in the morning?”
Without a second thought I jumped at my lifesaver.
“ah” he caught me with his arms and I hurriedly jumped on his shoulder hiding behind his head.
I meowed at him “Get these monsters away from me!”
He looked at me puzzled for a second, but understood the situation pretty quickly as soon as the small creatures arrived in front of him.
He let out a quiet sigh, shock his head lightly “So that’s what got you so scared.”
“Meow!” translated meaning “good you understand quickly! you’re one of my favorite humans after all!”
The man looked friendly at the beings and started speaking in his usual calm voice “Kids, do you know why the cat run away from you?”
One creature lifts their arm up and shouts in high spirits “Because we are playing tag!”
“That’s not it,” the man replied “Did you forget what you did last time?”
After that a lengthy explanation followed until they understood their evil wrongdoings.
“So from now on what do you do?”
“WE WILL PAT THEM MORE GENTLY AND WONT CHASE AFTER THEM IF THEY DON’T WANT TO!” answered all three of them in chorus.
“He is really good in this, I wonder how he can have so much patience…”
After the beings left the calm man looked at me who retired to my usual place, I waged my tail signaling him a thumps up “Good job.”
He wandered toward me tiredly sitting down patting my head, I stared purring in satisfaction.
The calm man started laughing, jokingly saying “You are unexpectedly a scaredy cat, aren’t you?!”
I smacked my paw in his face.
“Hahaha” unaffected he continues to laugh.
I give him an offended and pissed look before curling up.
