Chapter 1.5 after the “fight”

Like usual, I was lazing around the small restaurant. Not many people were around today, when a well-trained bodybuilder like woman with wolf ears and a tail came in.

“Hey, Christian. How is it going?”

They started chatting about trivial stuff and sometime later the muscle man joined in. At one point they started talking about me, but I didn’t bother listening, it’s probably the usual cat lovers talk.

At some point the topic shifted “Man, something weird happened a few days ago, and thanks to that, I have my hands full with work!” the wolf woman said in an annoyed tone.

“Now you are making me curious.” The calm man replied.

“Some people going into the forest found a nest of Kobolds!”

“A nest, Is that even possible?”

“It gets even stranger!” exclaimed the woman with a loud voice. “They found it after stumbling over a Kobolds corps at the edge of the forest and following a trail of blood, and all the Kobolds were already dead with a hole in their body’s.”

“Mmm, so they found it.”

After that, the woman complained more about being so busy investigating this strange case and then an assistant of hers came in, scolding her for vanishing from work and dragged her back…

“…Do your best! I’m rooting for you miss wolf woman!”
