What was the old saying again?

...You reap what you sow?

Ophelia: “Are you both ready? Uhm… King Harvey? Huroznik? Because I’m about to call for the match to start.”

Huroznik: “Phew… he’s sneaky, I’m sneakier! Okay… I think so! *Nods at ref*.”

Harvey: “*Nods then cocks head up* Babe, let’s be honest: this is a match of muscles. Even looking like that, this is no place for a-”

Ophelia: “Begin!”

*Boom!*

...Perhaps it was ‘karma’ at play...

Ophelia: “Down!”

Harvey: “...Girl? *Cough!* *Cough!*”

Huroznik: “FIRST TO STRIKE……wins?”

Ophelia: “Wi-Winner! ...Did I do it right?”

...Or maybe it was Harvey’s ‘fate’ to lose that match.

Regardless, the results were clear for everybody to see…

Random student 27: “W-What happened?”

Random student #37: “Did Harvey just lose?”

Random Student #53: “Pfft! Hahaha, he got smacked while smack talking just like Ryder!”

Random student #55: “Karma’s a bitch! Ahahahaha.”

Random student #33: “No way! He would NEVER LOSE!”

Random student #246: “Yeah – yeah!! Ryder lost because he just sucks, but King Harvey is AWESOME! He’s so~ kind too!”

Random student #3: “Kind my ass! He regularly beats on people! Just last month he beat up my kid brother for saying he looked weaker than the Steel King! Emphasis on KID BROTHER!! The little guy’s only 9!”

Random student #12: ”His face is ugly, and my baby sister cried when she saw him on tv.”

Random fan #199: “Who cares! The point is, that… non-combatant made a BAD call. Don’t forget guys, Harvey is one of the KINGS!”

Random Spectator #3: “Pssh, That didn’t stop Momo from losing.”

Random fan #199: “THAT was a RACE!! The ‘Kings’ DON’T lose fights! NEVER!!”

Random Spectator #3: “OKAY fanboy! Keep worshiping the ‘Kings’ while I aim for a greater victory than Huroznik! Hehe.”

Random fan #199: “THAT WASN’T A VICTORY!! You wanna fight?!”

Random student #58: “Ugh, another violent Harvey supporter. Toxic as fuck.”

[...Um, ho-hold on folks! Once again – let us check the playback!]

The overhead monitors revealed a replaying of the …3 second fight.

Ophelia mouthed out something to both contestants.

Huroznik nodded and took his stance.

But Harvey….. he did nod, however right after: he tilted his head up and began saying something.

Then.

He got punched.

The monitors didn’t have vocal recognition to replay scenes in audio format, however they did, in fact, contain the ability to analyze and match lip movement to produce self-generated subtitles that were...more or less accurate.

Today, they would be used for the very first time in a long while.

Improvements had to be made in this function since it was basically a joke of a translator before, making people during replays say obscene and sometimes even scary sentences that they normally never so much as peep about.

Hero High’s mechanics and engineering club were the original creators of these orb-like drones with such analytical features. Their initial goal was to make intelligent drones that could analyze even the slightest trace of change to a suspect they were in the process of monitoring. Unfortunately, due to a serious lack of funding and know-how...the actual results were shoddy at best. Justice Heights, the top school’s engineering and mechanics division took interest in the idea and held a joint study session with Hero high’s mechanics and Engineering club.

The Academy’s higher level of knowledge in regards to mechanics helped the small and independent Mech. & Engineering club to not only improve themselves at a rapid rate, but redesign and immensely upgrade their works. The Academy were able to replicate the final product and reproduce them for special use by all three schools, while Hero High Gathered a higher fund for their club plus an actual retired Android superhero that specialized in all things related to weapons or technology.

...This is the very first time that the upgraded drones’ analytical skills shall be put to actual use , rather than mere test recordings.

[Can – Can everybody read what it says? Is… Is it translating properly now?]”

The match was replayed once again for all to see, this time with subtitles.

RECORDED SUBTITLES:

Ophelia: “Are you both ready? Uhm… King Harvey? Huroznik? Because I’m about to call for the match to start.”

Huroznik: “Phew… he’s sneaky, I’m sneakier! Okay… I think so!”

Harvey: “Babe, let’s be honest: this is a match of muscles. Even looking like that, this is no place for a-”

Ophelia: “Begin!”

Ophelia: “Down!”

Harvey: “...Girl?"

Huroznik was ready, while Harvey was flaunting.

Random Spectator #30: “Pffft! I – I should probably support him but-! *Chuckles*”

Random Spectator #31: “BAHAHAHAHA! Karma’s a bitch! Karma’s a bitch!!”

Random Spectator #32: “Did he just say a woman has no place in a fight with muscles?! What a sexist pig!”

Random Spectator #33: “Women are weaker…”

Random Spectator #32: “TELL HER THAT!!”

Random Spectator #33: “...nor-normally…”

Random Spectator #Spectator #32: “TELL THE VAST MAJORITY OF INSECTS THAT!”

Random Spectator #32: “...For humans...humans…”

Random Spectator #33: “Again, TRY TELLING HER THAT!”

……

Harvey: “H-Huh..? No nonononono--- NO!”

Harvey quickly flew up and stretched out his arm. The biceps on his right appendage swelled, then contracted – swelled, then contracted once more. Every time his muscles pumped, they, similar to a pulsing heartbeat, would condense in power with a thump. Naturally Ophelia noticed this and flew into a panic.

What was she supposed to do? What CAN she do?

Then…

again… she remembered that immature friend’s words, and repeated them as a warning towards Harvey.

Ophelia: “If - If you hurt me, You’ll become a - a villain…”

In retrospect, with Harvey already annoyed by Noel’s initial outburst: effectively shutting him up not due to fear entirely, but partially, by causing him to choke for an important moment in public – This might not have been the best phrase to say.

Especially to an enraged Harvey.

Her words were twice as dangerous to his already fragile mindset, trying to process this unlucky turn of events.

Unlucky…

Yes, why is he becoming unlucky so suddenly? That Raging Queen’s grandmother said their family’s predictions foretold him showing off nothing but victories today! To think, it happened twice now – twice! Hm? Wait a second.

*Bam!*

Huroznik may have been drunk on his victory, but he was NOT foolish enough to assume that King Harvey, obviously caught unprepared, wound swallow defeat peacefully. Normally he would have already struck at Harvey lying down to end things: but this was a match. He had to wait for Harvey to ‘strike first’ to show that Harvey attacked first, while he struck out of pure self-defense!

He wanted to secure his win, so he waited.

If it was just one, single punch , just one punch, then he could definitely take it.

With a grunt, he swelled his own muscles for an explosive burst of power, and guarded his head with his left arm, while preparing his right.

Harvey: “SHUT THE HELL UP YOU STUPID BITCH!”

His fist flew with violent fervor. Ophelia watched nervously at the angry king’s veins beginning to swell and pulse – as if each of them were an individual heartbeat.

Huroznik’s own muscles exploded forth through his own right first- but right as both swung at the other – Harvey’s muscular arm seemed to explode with fury!

It suddenly doubled in muscular mass, density and tension! The moment both fists collided, Huroznik’s arm bent like a worn out accordion.

Huroznik failed to even scream in time before the King’s fist shot him threw the air with force equaling a cannonball.

He flew about 20 feet before dropping to the hard, metallic platform securing their weight.

*Ba-thump!*

*Ba-thump!*

*Ba-thump!*

Ophelia was distracted by the scene. Everybody was distracted by the scene before them. Did Harvey just… beat Huroznik in a single punch? The Huroznik? That was the man known for delivering explosive one shots! Yet He got one shotted!

Random Spectator #2: “Amazing… I knew he was a king, but…”

Random Spectator #4: “This...it doesn’t look like much but...weren’t they both super-strength wielders?”

Random Spectator #5: “What’s the big deal? You guys make it sound so surprising, but all it means is that one of them had the stronger super strength, right?”

Random Spectator #6: “No, no! Super - strength, super – speed, they’ve all been assigned ‘grades’ but that’s just a general limit granted on the user to dictate where exactly their power falls under: limit-wise. However, even fellow B Grade power users can differ in strength if they didn’t grab a generic one from those shady labs looking to make a cash grab by selling basic quality goods. Normally, the school seals strength-users’ “strength” so it’s at least 1/10th of its full force. That makes interacting with everyday objects and other such things, as well as people that don’t have that overwhelming power, ‘safe’.

Random Spectator #5: “So you’re saying… what exactly?”

Random Spectator #73: “He’s saying...th-that punch…. Was only a fraction of Harvey’s top strength!! Not only that, but they BOTH have, B class strength! To completely demolish Huroznik – Harvey really IS King of B Grade strength users – Maybe only ‘A’ Grade and HIGHER Super-strength wielders can stand up to him!!”

Plump Mother: “WOW!”

Sharp-eyed Daughter: “Woahh~”

Random Spectator #360: “Cool! So cool, Harvey’s awesome!!!”

.

.

Again...over the roaring comments and praises, nobody noticed that faint Ba-thump noise.

Ophelia turned around, still confused over what actions to take. She fully intended to face Harvey in a strained bout of questioning his actions. Maybe even try to talk some sense into him? He did after all, lose the match.

But, instead of face to face…

It wound up being face to fist.
