Ian: “Madame, please hurry!”
She swiftly recorded Ophelia’s slightly positive results down, and put her tools away inside of her handbag. Following her act of ‘tidying up’ around the final awakened student, Ms. Daisy wobbled towards Ian and Aria.
Ms. Daisy: “Alright Ian, I’m here now. Let me take a look.
…
Huh...
...Unresponsive, as you claimed. She doesn’t appear to be sleeping or faking it either. How exactly did this child fall into such an abnormal state? Could it have been due to a villain’s attack? Was it when they all first arrived, or… Did she suffer some great shock prior to Mr. Abrams’s intervention?”
Ophelia lightly taps Ian’s shoulder, relieving him of his forced attempt to respond to the older woman’s questioning. Hesitantly, she kneels beside Ms. Daisy.
Ophelia: “I’ll answer any inquiries you have about her, Ms. Daisy. I was the only one present with her, before she collapsed, after all.
I remember she became extremely panicked when the villains arrived. She screamed like her life was ending. That scream alerted the villains to our location.”
Ms. Daisy: “Hmm. That response could signify trauma...in fact, it’s highly likely to be the case. Panicking at the first instance of danger...I remember she also looked worried when You both were in my nursing station. Whether it was ‘cause of Dome being a pushy fellow, you receivin’ my treatment, or even after Mr. Harvey was hurt by your retaliatin’ fist of fury...OH! I’m so sorry darling. I completely forgot how much that instance bothered you! Can you forgive me? I won’t mention it again! But my point at bringing it up is to reveal how worked up she was actin’ even back then.”
Ophelia: “Please don’t apologize, Ms. Daisy. You did nothing wrong! I’m the one who’s at fault and I - I’m...getting over it. Slowly…”
Ms. Daisy: “Ah, okay. Wait one moment, darlin’ you said this girl Aria’s scream alerted...it gave away your location to the villains, right? Well then, what happened after?”
Ophelia: “After...we argued over what to do. Alyandrea wanted me to fight, but I...I said no. I hate fighting! A flying disc came in and killed Alyandrea. It cut her head off….”
Ms. Daisy: “That’s most likely it.”
Ophelia: “Wh-What…? What do you mean by..by ‘that’? I don’t know what you--”
Without warning, tiny bits of her present conversation with Ms. Daisy resurfaced to the forefront of her mind.
Ms. Daisy: “Hahaha, judgin’ based off of your facial expression, you figured out what I’m gettin’ at, huh?”
Ophelia: “Yeah, you’re trying to say she probably feels guilty for screaming. If she hadn’t screamed, Alyandrea would never die because the villains wouldn’t know where to look. At least, she wouldn’t have died so quickly.”
Ms. Daisy: “Yes darlin’ I fear she received a large shock back then. I’m assumin’ around then was when she began acting strange? Maybe dazed?”
Ophelia: “I...I don’t know that part. I wasn’t paying too much attention because...well, if only I had gone to them, maybe PUNCHED those two, maybe she wouldn’t have died back then. Maybe...Maybe Alyandrea would never have died. THEN, Aria would never feel responsible. Alyandrea asked me to fight, but, but I...*Shivers* I sad no. That’s what REALLY led to her death. That...is what REALLY caused Aria to…”

Ms. Daisy: “(This one too. Sheesh, I KNEW this was going to happen! I’ll have to phone in a friend!) Oh, well baby that’s only you overthinking things! In reality? Nobody out of you young’in’s are at fault for what each of you have done. No one expects you all to fight villains! You’re all only civilians! If anything, it is US that failed to protect you. For that, on behalf of this entire school – I apologize.”
She rubs her wrinkled palm against Ophelia’s tearful cheek. A valve burst open, releasing a flood of tears from the gentle – hearted powerhouse. Ian felt conflicted. He WANTED to allow them time to discuss Ophelia’s pain, HER worries. He even felt his eyes watering and his own hands tremble.
But waiting for them to finish is illogical. Such matters can be discussed inside of a safe, comfy room! NOT outdoors where they were ALL vulnerable!
Ian: “Um...excuse me? I don’t mean to come across as RUDE but...but what about Aria...?”
Ms. Daisy: “*Side-glances Ian* What else is there to say? She’s unconscious, nothing more. I plan to bring her back with me to make practical use out of a proper medical examination room. Is there anything else important enough to warrant me worrying?”
Ophelia: “...Yes. Right after she panicked, I lost my arm. I managed to get us out of there, but by that point, she started to daze out. Then the white light engulfed us. I prayed for a miracle to grant me the strength necessary to fix my mistakes...my errors! Then, after I woke up, I punched the evil people in front of my eyes. The...the building fell on top of the boys; as well as all around me. There was dust everywhere. Too much dust for me to see clearly. And by the time I remembered about Aria behind me – she was already like this.”
Ian: “...*Shivers*(Those villains cut her arm off?! I hope I never see any of them again! No wonder she was angry! You don’t injure the monster Ophelia and get away with it!)”
Ms. Daisy: “I see. That...that is definitely important enough to warrant my worry. It seems...no. It can’t possibly…!”
*VWISH*
Wayne: “Wha-? What’s this...bright light...?”
Li Shun: “Bright light? Oh…! Th-This is…!”
Brennan: “Bright light?! Did he finally…!”
Wayne: “Could...Could this BE?? Is THIS the strange light everybody has been talking about?? Did...did it come to help revive Aria next?! Is i-Mmph!”
Ian: “Mr. Abrams!”
Elijah: “Mr. Abrams?!”
Leos: “…”
Oliviera: “Oh…! You mean he’s finally back? Hey everyone, Mr. Abrams is ba-GYAAAAAHH!!”
In a flash bright light, Mr. Abrams returned to his new students. Next to his legs was a man, tied up in bandages, but it was very poorly done. That man brought it upon himself, obviously. Mr. Abrams didn’t bother touching his wounds at all; merely leaving Four’s makeshift patchwork as it were. This vindictive fellow figures it would definitely prove to be an unnecessary waste of material, since Ms. Daisy already arrived at his class’s current location.
The man had a stub of an arm, dripping fresh blood from the gauze. His body also revealed many cuts for the class to see – mainly on his face and only remaining arm where a giant cut bore deep into the fore. his legs were twisted in different directions. They were both unnaturally bent, but still bandaged. Mr. Abrams took the time to do that.
His face was barely recognizable underneath the cuts that were mostly left unbandaged. He was also barely alive, but none of the kids could tell that from just a glance. Only Ms. Daisy noticed: though there were clearly bigger patients to focus her attention on. The two students; both big and small, each had a reason for alarming her.
Hung over Mr. Abrams’s right shoulder was their long-haired classmate, Rise. His neck sported a long cut that dripped blood down his teacher’s right arm. For some reason, there was no bandage applied. Other than the injury to his neck, he had no visible injuries to his figure – from what they could SEE at least. His fingernails, however...were an unnatural dark crimson. He was clearly as unresponsive as Aria. To the students, he merely looked unconscious... or perhaps even…
And in Mr. Abrams’s arms, a certain young man – or rather, young boy, remained still and unmoving. His once black and white uniform shirt now completely soaked in blood. His right shoulder was entirely ruined. A crevasse of a wound was left exposed in ghastly fashion – broken bone and torn muscle remained visible, yet; despite common sense dictating otherwise – Noel’s injury wasn’t leaking out any blood. Completely different from 4, the mercenary. It wasn’t just his shoulder, though. His left leg that dangled out from Mr. Abrams’s cradling arms looked as if it had been shot by a high – powered rifle!
…
Well, normally a high powered rifle wouldn’t even dent his skin. His strength IS weakened thanks to his family’s curse-turned seal, but his durability is still strong enough to tank ordinary weaponry.
If any of the students were brave enough to look closely, they would notice the bone was also slightly visible in the leg wound, beyond his torn muscle and flesh. Luckily, there WAS actually a handful of students more than willing to move in and take a closer look.
Specifically, 3.
Frieda: “Oh God...or - Gods...So much blood! So-So much...”
Cass: “Ew! Look…! You can even see his bone!”
Saphy: “Is this proper? Won’t we get in trouble again…?”
…
*Zoop!*
Mrs. Haldeen: “…(They misbehave, but run away after realizing they’re about to get in trouble. I’ll need to punish them after all. It’s the proper thing to do. More importantly, these children are wounded...but shouldn’t that light have healed everyone?)”
Mr. Abrams: “Ms. Daisy. Pack your things and make it fast! Once you’re done, then hurry and stand beside me. I’ll teleport you and the kids to your Nursing station. They’re both in critical condition!”
