As if an always – watching gaze never leaves the battlefield, Mr. Abrams’s ‘Remote Viewing’ technique allows him to spectate and judge every single move Team 4 makes. And he isn’t only keeping an eye out for Team 4 either. In the South, the East and the far West lie 3 separate teams armed and only waiting for their allotted time to act! Furthermore, one OTHER group separate from the 6-organized Coalition are steadily making their way over. Steadily, but certainly.
Knowledge and powerful sensory skills: thanks to these two factors alone, The entire Campus has become a massive game board for the angry teacher. Surely so, these fools were going to pay for their attempted crimes. Hell, they were currently committing a crime right now! Let alone wait for an even bigger crime to take place, he could just as quickly summon all of their school’s personnel over to capture the ‘Coalition’. Unfortunately, there were many places to protect, and there was never any guarantee that the non-combatants are the employer’s main target. They could just as easily be a distraction to pull attention away from the super-powered children that are, in essence, Herotopia’s future.
Even if this attack was made known; many people would still flock to the young Heroes - in - training. Why is that, you may ask? Well, it’s quite simple really. They are the next generation of Heroes. Non – Combatants are in every essence, disposable, replaceable, and not as important. Of course, being heroes, they would try to save everyone. it’s their duty, after all. Not even the Realist faction of Heroes hate the non-combatants. What they hate, is the childrens’ presence in Herotopia while villains are still confident enough to launch an assault all over the land of Heroes. They hate the ‘added liability’ that could potentially damage them further, when it could all be avoided by keeping civilians away from the unstable super–powered children entirely, until said children have fully grasped their capabilities and learned to control it.
This is also the very same reason a new law was passed that doesn’t allow one to become a superhero unless they have perfect control over their superpowers and mental stability. Though the latter is a whole lot easier to check than the former. Superpower development courses, are even open to adults now to combat the vastly underdeveloped super-powered society on Spes Nova and within all of its countries.
Sadly, if they were given the ultimatum to either save this world’s future Heroes or future innocent civilians, the Realist faction would sacrifice the non – combatants immediately in favor of what necessitates priority. Maybe they’d send a hero or two, but...
...Because of this, the homeroom teacher didn’t feel any guilt not spreading word of this around his school. Especially after learning there were a few staff members brainwashed into doing dangerous activities those same trustworthy staff would normally be adverse to doing.
Besides, at present; Mr. Abrams knew he didn’t have much time left to ask for reinforcements before the three separate teams advancing through different directions of the forest arrived at Dormitory number two.
He didn’t need any help though, nor did he WANT any help. These were his targets, and although he wouldn’t kill them, he’d certainly make them suffer. Why not help them all to realize what its like being a target for a change?
Still, before dealing with the other teams, he wanted to make sure that there wasn’t anyone left in Team 4 perfectly capable of moving. This was their vanguard group after all. The most confidence was built into its formation.
Because of this reason alone, everyone in Team 4 has to go.

…
Back at Team 4, all hell broke loose. Forty – two team members quickly slashed at another forty – two. This in turn, triggered 42 bright, white glows of light to fixate themselves on the injured coalition members. After the transpiring event faded out with a soft, underwhelming dissipation, the Coalition members struck across the chest or face turned around, revealing a eerie set of pupil-less eyes. They too immediately charged; tearing away at whoever came close. Former friends of these 42 tried adamantly to talk some sense into them.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
Coalition member # 26: “H-Hey… What are you doing?! Are- *CLANG!* -Are you crazy?!”
Coalition member # 27: “Tussien it’s me! You’re brother in arm-- AAAH!”
Coalition member # 28: “Renee honey, it’s me! You’re honey! Remember all the reasons that forced us to come her-- AAAGHH!”
Coalition member # 29: “No...stop...please *CLANG!* Please turn around! I’m not your enem-- *SPUTTER!* Eh?”
Coalition member # 30: “James… James stop! Why are you doing this to me – to us! To our chi—aaah!”
These folk were the second to fall behind the first row caught by surprise. The flash of light absorbed them next, and once again, they joined the few that attacked them.
One must not forget, this action caught many by surprise because they were still busy registering in their brains how it was possible the decapitated corpses could suddenly stand up, when 30 seconds later, two rows of brothers and sisters in arms lashed out all around themselves with the same exact military – grade combat knives in hand. Those who knew each victim became their first victims in an ironic twist of fate, instead of dutifully talking them all down. Shortly after, the number of traitors quickly escalated up to four hundred casualties.
That’s when the already - splitting crack wedged deep within Team 4, started to spread outward in a vicious desire to find fault in the other participating organizations.
Coalition member # 31: “Stay back you dumb bastard! I always knew you were looking for ways to kill me…! Well you’re just outta luck! Heheh, why do you think I prepared so hard to learn martial arts-*SLASH!*-aah~”
Coalition member # 32: “T- To think that you of all people would betray us...I always KNEW you people were trouble! *CLANG!*”
Coalition member # 33: “You disgusting bastards! I knew Dark mercenaries didn’t NEED to join hands with you lesser ranked organizations for this mission! Only the BEST are needed! If you wanna back stab us, then hurry up and DIE! Just die alread--! AAAH~”
Coalition member # 34: “H-Help! Somebody! The other organizations are rebelling! Ca-Captain Dawa—AAAH!”
The falling out quickly separated everybody into fighting for their respective organization. Some who were already falling on bad terms with their neighbors used this as a cover to announce ‘another traitor!’ and attack. It’s just… with so many super soldiers involved, everybody had their own methods to attack, primarily revolving around punches, swords or blunt weapons and not many resorted to using their short - reaching knives. Following the attacks from bitter members of the Coalition, white lights would surround the members suffering injuries that were simply too serious to handle any more. When others witnessed such a spectacle, they assumed the person responsible was a traitor and struck mercilessly. Such an act soon devolved the battle into a downward – spiraling scene of chaos that no longer differentiated friend from foe.
However, though this DID cause problems for Team 4 ,and separate individuals into attacking any not wearing the same emblem as themselves, a ofew were not so easily fooled, or led astray.
…
Coalition member # 35: “You...FUCKING MORONS!! How can any of you dare call yourselves MERCENARIES?! Is it THAT EASY to rebel against a Coalition of 6 and NOT expect retaliation?? Are you all dimwitted IDIOTS?!”
Coalition member # 36: “I agree. Furthermore-”
Coalition member # 35: “You’re ALL acting so UNCIVILIZED! You can’t expect to accomplish much with this random no-tactics style of combat!”
Coalition member # 37: “Everything is a mess. The elites should just go on ahead instead of waiting here and falling out with each other. You people can die together if you wish: I want my reward money.”
Coalition member # 38: “We should have all just fucking done away with the scout corpses and prevented this entire situation from happening! Somebody might even be manipulating this all to occur from the shadows! Somebody like…”
Coalition member # 39: “…Like the thing that took our arms? Makes sense. That was also fishy, especially since not one of us have yet to die of blood – loss. *CLANG!*”
Coalition member # 40: “Maybe we should retreat to find out who’s the enemy and who is still our Coalition’s ally? *CLANG!*”
Coalition member # 41: “Is...nobody going to talk about how the traitors can easily be spotted thanks to their glowing eyes? And how they’re all acting a lot like zombies?”
The only ones who did not intervene, were the Captain and leading representatives of the 6 merged organizations – Dawan, Vice, Ergio, Weston, Quin and Denzel. They couldn’t intervene. They first, had to gather information. Information was crucial in a situation where it was sorely lacking; it could very easily spell the death of everyone around them. This was clearly an attack, by an opposing party. Maybe a tricky one, yes. But not completely unbeatable. They first had to give one, clear order to everyone still planning on continuing as a Coalition member: to immediately regroup.
