In the dead of night, a faint magical bell chime chimed throughout the halls of the Sakamoto household as a group of four kid spirits peered through the gap in Solus' open bedroom door.
The four shrine spirits: consisted of a tiny girl fire spirit(she has short glowing transparent red hair with pink tips, glowing pink eyes, transparent pink skin, red fox ears and two fox tails; along with wearing a red shrine maiden outfit),
a girl light spirit(she has super long glowing transparent golden blonde hair with solid gold tips, glowing black eyes, transparent white skin, white dog ears and tail; along with a white shrine maiden outfit),
a boy shadow spirit(he has short glowing transparent black hair with golden tips, glowing golden eyes, transparent dark grey skin, black cat ears and tail; along with a black shrine maiden outfit),
and a girl water spirit(she has long glowing spiky transparent ocean blue hair with frozen tips, glowing sapphire eyes, transparent cyan skin, a shark tail and sharp teeth) watched Nebula and Solus sound asleep in their futon as Nebula lightly nibbled on one of Solus' horns.
"Rose, try ringing the bell faster," the water spirit requested.
"But Nym... if we're too loud it might wake the others," Rose stated as she struggled to carry a rainbow-coloured bell. Nym was about to say something but stopped herself when she noticed the light and shadow were spirits staring down the hallway.
"Noir, Gold, what's wrong?" Nym asked as she also glanced down the hallway and noticed the faint golden glimmering of Luminous' cloak.
"M- Master Luminous!" Rose shockingly blurted out while Nya and Gold covered her mouth to muffle her shouting as Luminous walked over to the group of spirits.
"Didn't I tell you not to disturb them while they're sleeping?" Luminous asked monotonously.
"We know..." the shrine spirits sombrely whined in unison.
"I assume they're appearing again?" Luminous asked with the spirits frantically nodding their heads. Luminous monotonously sighed before gesturing for them to lead the way, but instead of flying off the spirits clung to him(Rose on his head, Gold clinging to his back with Nym and Noir sitting on his shoulders); Luminous sighed again before walking towards the front door.
Luminous strolled across the snow-covered courtyard of the shrine while being guided by the shrine spirits to an extremely dark green-leafed tree. Luminous looked over the tree before noting that there wasn't any snow on or around it.
"This is the yokai, right?" Luminous inquired as took one of his arms out from his cloak.
"Are yuv asking if tree is jokai or if the jokai is poccessing it?" Gold asked in response.
"Indeed," Luminous replied.
"It's pro... po...ssess...ing it..." Gold struggled to say. Rose patted Gold on the head while praising Gold for her improvement in her lingual dexterity, much to Gold's joy. Luminous instructed the spirits to wait by the shrine until he dealt with the yokai. The shrine spirits nodded their heads before quickly flying over to the shrine and ducking behind the shrine's donation box.
The moment the shrine spirits went to the shrine, dark green embers of magical energy started to seep out from the tree before all of its leaves bursted into green flame. The tree was quickly consumed by the green flames as the shape of a large fox started to form from the flames.
The fox-shaped flames abruptly lunged at Luminous; who quickly wrapped his cloak around his arm and blocked the lunging flames before redirecting them into the centre of the courtyard.

The flames crashed into the ground and began to spiral around as its size rapidly grew to the size of a small house; the flames began to calm and fully form into a large one-eyed green flame fox yokai.
The fox snarled at Luminous who gave the fox an unamused stare as he unwrapped his cloak from his arm, whilst the shrine spirits watched with nervous expressions. The fox took a step forwards before a light mana(glowing white magical energy) spear fell from the sky and pierced the fox's leading paw.
The fox yokai and the shrine spirits glanced up into the sky to the entirety of the space above the courtyard was filled with a volley of light mana spears. Luminous snapped his finger, signally the light spears to rapidly descend in unison.
A bright white flash beamed into Solus and Nebula's room; the light shinned directly into Nebula's eyes and as the light rapidly faded Nebula lazily sat up. She tiredly panned her head over at the window and yawned as she stood up. She waddled over to the window and peeked out of it before spotting Luminous confronting the fox yokai.
The fox yokai, with a cluster of light spears impaled into its back, staggered backwards and fired an energy beam from its eyes that raced towards Luminous. The beam appeared to strike Luminous and launched him at a tree.
"Master Luminous!" the shrine spirits cried as Luminous slammed his foot into the ground, with the spot around his foot turning into luminescent gold, and instantly stopped his momentum as the luminescent gold started to float out of the ground.
"Don't worry yourselves," Luminous stated as he glanced over at the worried shrine spirits and, the futon covered, Nebula before he glanced up at the roof of the shrine. As Luminous continued to look at the roof of the shrine, the yokai attempted to charge another eye beam attack before a spear made of luminescent gold pierce through the yokai's eye.
"Trivial," Luminous callously snarked with his arm extended out to the staggering yokai. Luminous lightly gestured his hand before the gold spear ripped itself free from the yokai and rushed back to Luminous. Luminous amusedly scoffed at the yokai as its eye slowly healed.
"So, materials infused with magic can temporarily slow a yokai's regeneration, dually noted," Luminous muttered to himself as he tapped his heel against the ground and in the blink of an eye a large section of the courtyard's ground instantly transformed into the same luminescent gold as the floating spear.
The yokai jumped into the air as the gold spread close to it but before the yokai could get very far a swarm of golden chains erupted from the ground and ensnared the yokai; the chain rapidly recoiled back into the ground and slammed the yokai into the golden ground.
"But it appears weapons created by spirit packs are still superior," Luminous stated as he snapped his fingers to make the golden chains clamp down on the squirming yokai. Luminous strolled over to the yokai before stabbing it with a syringe, made from luminescent gold, and extracted some of the yokai's blood before standing up.
"Alright, Solus, you may dispatch the yokai," Luminous stated before walking away from the yokai as all the luminescent gold reverted back to snow and the snow chains crumbled to pieces.
"Right!" Solus, wearing white boxers and a yellow shirt, shouted before grabbing the long katana, with a golden handle and a blade that blended into the bright night sky, floating behind him and leaping off the roof. Solus raised his katana over his head as the yokai struggled to stand on its feet.
"First Form: Instant Slash!" Solus proclaimed before instantly appearing above the yokai and in the blink of an eye severing its head from its body with a vertical slash. The yokai dispersed as Solus gracefully landed on the ground before his entire body shivered.
"Way to go, Master Sakamoto," Rose playfully said, with the other also praising him, as Solus frantically tipped toed over to the shrine and jumped off of the blanket of snow. Snow grabbed onto Luminous' cloak and lightly tugged on it.
"C-come on, M- aster Luinous," Gold pleaded with a stutter as Luminous was intently looking over the blood he collected from the yokai.
"Yes-yes, Solus deserves praise for being able to take out the yokai with a single blow using one of the sword artes I taught him," Luminous half-heartedly said as he kept eye contact with the blood sample.
"I guess that's a compliment by Luminous' standards," Solus remarked as he handed his katana to Nebula, who was floating next to him; Nebula quickly slid the katana down the front of her futon blanket cloak and the katana appeared to disappear before she quickly clung to Solus' back.
Meanwhile, in Lumina's room, Metsu was looking out of the window and staring directly at Solus and Nebula while making a low-pitched purr as her tails swayed from side to side. Metsu's ears twitched as she heard Camellia and Lumina rustling in their sleep.
"Noo... I can't eat anymore," Camellia mumbled in her sleep as she nibbled on Lumina's ear while Lumina had her face smothered in Camellia's breasts. Metsu glared at Camellia before walking, on all fours, over to the bed and looking down on Camellia. Metsu sat down, like a cat, next to Camellia's head before Metsu raised her hand and repeatedly booping Camellia's forehead until she released Lumina's ear.
