Nini stood before the evaluation gem with her arms crossed while the other students sat in silent anticipation for her results. Nini mentally sighed and smugly rolled her eyes at her fellow students' attention being focused on her; however, her smug demeanour slightly soured when in the corner of her eye she saw Solus wasn't even paying attention to her and instead was looking down at Nebula while talking to her.
"You can't be disheartened by not being the centre of everyone's attention," Ano whispered mockingly. Nini gave Ano an agitated side eye, but Nini looked forwards when Sovereign coughed.
"Whenever you're ready, Nini Kimitorou," Sovereign asked. Nini nodded before she raised her hands and conjured pink qi into one hand and rainbow-coloured spirit energy. Nini slammed her hands together launching sparks of pink spirit mana flying, with the largest spark striking Ano in the forehead. Nini freed her hands from each other and her pink spirit mana formed into a perfect sphere. Nini placed a finger on the spirit mana sphere and pushed it into the evaluation gem.
The evaluation gem exploded to life, unleashing an almost blinding and school hall-filling pink light. The light gradually faded, and Nini uncovered her eye and a small smug grin formed on her face as she saw her results. The evaluation gem showed a bold S and a Spirit Union Apptitue one hundred percent.
The other students oohed and aahed at seeing Nini's results; Nini glanced at Solus but was once again disappointed to see Solus was more preoccupied with Nebula. Meanwhile, Camellia was defeatedly slumped back in her chair while thinking about how's she going to top a perfect score.
"Amazing, Miss Wyvern Princess," Sovereign said as he jotted down Nini's results. Nini put on a brave face and walked back to her chair while mentally muttering to herself.
"Moxiloph Howlastroph," Sovereign called out before the tall eighteen-year-old dark tan-skinned girl sitting next to Nini rose to her feet and swaggeringly walked to the evaluation gem in her biker-jacket's pockets. (Moxiloph's a half-demon/quarter-human/quarter-demi-human-cat [has demon horn-shaped blonde cat ears, and she has a thin black demon tail with a spade-shaped tail tip]; she has long spikey mane-shaped light blonde hair and golden eyes with her left sclera was black)(she wears an unbuttoned white biker jacket with a large black chibi-rabbit on the back over her school uniform)
Moxiloph stopped by the evaluation gem and pulled a hand out of her pocket as her dark rose qi and her spirit's silver spirit energy trailed behind her hand. Moxiloph clenched her hand, and her dark rose spirit mana seeped out through her fingers. Moxiloph placed her finger on the evaluation gem, and it shone as her spirit mana funnelled into it.
Her spirit mana swirled around the evaluation gem before forming into an A and a compatibility of ninety-one. Moxiloph cockily smirked on her face as she placed her hand back in her pocket.
"Phew thought I was gonna fail given my sis' track record," Moxiloph uttered snarkily in her mind as she leaned slightly backwards before she quickly walked back to her seat. Sovereign lowered his hand and shrugged chalking up Moxiloph's hurrying back to her seat as a form of shyness despite her attire and demeanour.
"Pitto and Xiazorm Linyorath," Sovereign called out. The goblin sisters hopped down from their chairs in unison while holding hands. The duo skipped over to the evaluation gem while some of the students (mostly females with some males) quietly squealed to themselves about how cute the sisters were.
The sisters arrived at the evaluation gem and the cylinder pedestal it floated above lowered to match the sisters' height. Pitto conjured her purple qi and Xiazorm conjured her maroon qi into their free hands. They then mixed their qi with their spirits' spirit energy (Pitto's spirit's spirit energy is silver, and Xiazorm's spirit's spirit energy is bronze) to create spirit mana and shoved their spirit mana into the evaluation gem. Pitto received a B-Rank with an eighty-six percent compatibility, and Xiazorm received a B-Rank with an eighty-one percent compatibility.

The sisters cheerfully hugged each other while monotonously cheering at receiving the same rank before they skipped back to their seats. Sovereign went to call for Gale but stopped when Gale was already standing next to the evaluation gem with his results already on the evaluation gem: he's an A-Rank with a Spirit Union Aptitude compatibility of ninety-five percent.
Gale fist-pumped before his body vibrated, and he zipped like a blur back to his seat. However, due to his momentum and the build-up of static energy in his fuzzy and puffy body fur, Gale glided straight over his seat when he sat on it and bumped into Solus, accompanied by a light shock noise.
"Oh, sorry about that, So-," Gale said with a light blush on his face before he saw the large mass of blond and lime-coloured kitsune tail fur. Gale couldn't help but snicker as Nebula and Tsarina popped their head out from Solus' tail fur. Solus pulled his arms out from his kitsune tail fur before attempting to straighten them out while Sovereign watched.
"Camellia, why don't you do your examination while Solus deals with his unruly tails?" Sovereign recommended while Camellia stared at Solus before at Sovereign and nodded. Camellia strolled up to the evaluation gem while sheepishly rubbing the back of her fingers together.
Camellia stood before the evaluation gem as it and its podium rose to match half her height. Camellia stared at the evaluation gem while her thought process slowed until she wasn't thinking anymore until Metsu booped her on the nose to snap her back to reality. Camellia raised her hand as her purple qi while Metsu swatted some of her dark purple spirit energy at Camellia qi.
The duo squished and moulded the qi and spirit energy until it was a purple sphere of spirit mana. Metsu needed the spirit mana sphere one last time before Camellia inserted it into the evaluation gem.
For a second, nothing appeared to happen, and the evaluation gem didn't even light up, causing Camellia to defeatedly sigh. Metsu glared at the evaluation gem before she jumped onto Camellia's arm and slammed her hands into the evaluation gem.
A split second later outside, a blinding light flashed through the windows of the east school hall, catching the attention of passersby.
The light faded, and Metsu rubbed her eyes as her almost non-existent pupils slowly dilated to normal. Camellia and the other students were left in shock, especially Nini, as the evaluation gem presented a bold S and a Spirit Union Apptitue compatibility of one hundred percent.
Camellia shook on the spot, but instead of exploding in excitement, like when she saw cute things, she just contently sighed before lightly hugging Metsu. Camellia bowed to Sovereign before returning to her seat. Solus finished straightening his tails into six large fluffy kitsune tails as Gale looked at him puzzledly. (Solus has three large fluffy blond kitsune tails with two having colourless tail tips and one with a dark royal blue, and three large fluffy lime-coloured kitsune tails with two having colourless tail tips and one with purple/magenta tail tips)
"Don't you have kitsune ears?" Camellia asked perplexedly with a hint of tenseness in her voice.
"Yeah... but they normally get irritated by... you know," Solus stated as he glanced at Nebula. Camellia noticed Gale had a look on his face, which could only be described as suspicious.
"Solus Sakamoto," Sovereign called out. Solus rose to his feet as Nebula and Tsarina climbed onto his kitsune tails. Some of the students whispered amongst themselves wondering why Solus was walking to the evaluation stone with both Nebula and Tsarina.
"Maybe one of them is his kitsune ego given he's part kitsune," one of the students said quietly.
"True... but both those girls are spirits; I don't think kitsune egos can be spirits, and I don't know much about kitsune visages to make a conclusion," another student whispered.
Solus stood by the evaluation while the students wondering in anticipation about whether Nebula or Tsarina were his Spirit Partner. Solus glanced over at Sovereign, as Sovereign was tapping his chin.
"You thinking of a way to include both Nebula and Tsarina in your evaluation, Solus?" Sovereign asked with a rhetorical tone. Solus nodded while he raised his hand and formed a sphere of his pale blue qi in his palm.
"Well, although the device only normally reads spirit mana made from one wielder and one partner; it may be able to read a mix an imbalance mix if you catch my drift," Sovereign stated, causing all the students to murmur amongst themselves of Sovereign's suggestion for Solus.
