Covered in her veils of lightnings, Lumina bolted across the surface of the pond while darting straight for the leopard hybrid yokai. While charging for Sushi and Oshi, the yokai abruptly stopped its charge as it sensed Lumina's murderous aura directed at it. The yokai darted its eyes in Lumina's direction before it jumped away.

Lumina clicked her tongue as her fist, clenching the pure white energy gear, narrowly missed the dodging yokai. Lumina landed on one of the still intact silver ice rafts. Lumina raised her head and glared at the yokai poutingly. She closed her eyes and deeply huffed from her mouth as her expression softened.

"Honestly, Solus, why are you always such a dummy?". Lumina glanced back to see Nebula helping a half-conscious Solus to a sitting position. Lumina smirked and faced towards as someone else landed on the silver ice raft.

"This one must be trouble if it got the upper hand on Solus and Nebula," Nini said boastfully as she undid the top button of her tracksuit to let some trapped heat out.

"More like he was an idiot for trying to fight without her after getting ambushed," Lumina said with a snarky tone. Nini slumped her head disappointedly and sighed.

"And here I thought I could one up Solus by beating a yokai he couldn't, but it doesn't count if he lost because of that...," Nini uttered as she gripped her tracksuit and summoned Wyvern Crawler. Nini glanced to her side before spotting Sushi and Oshi.

"Seeing as Sushido is here, I'll use a different element.". Wyvern Crawler opened the mouth of its dragon head and gathered cyan spirit mana into its mouth. The mouth slammed shut with a crackle before opening to reveal the handle of a cyan lightning spirit mana rapier. Nini grabbed the handle of the lightning rapier before yanking it out as the rapier fully constructed itself.

"I'm surprised though, I didn't expect a yokai to dodge an attack which wouldn't harm it," Nini remarked with a slightly serious tone. One of N's floating Plain Text appeared by the energy gear in Lumina's possession. Nini and Lumina stared at the Plain Text which read: "#####'s Spiritual Gears gear", and "Contains the spirit energy of #####".

"It's her's! It's her's!" N's voice shouted from inside Nini's mind. N's uncharacteristic shouting startled Nini and made her tails and all the hair/fur on her body stand up.

"Don't shout out of nowhere, N.".

"Sorry, but it's the spirit energy of one of the three Hero Spirits," N stated excitedly. Nini mentally grumbled at her constantly running into famous people and their possessions.

"I'll ask her about it after the yokai is dealt with, ok?".

"Ok.". Nini rubbed her eyes before turning to Lumina.

"I take it that gear thing will let you hurt the yokai?" Nini asked.

"I assume so," Lumina remarked nonchalantly.

"You assume?".

"Well, Lumios said that's one of the things they can do.". Nini mindlessly blinked at Lumina as a transparent whispy version of N appeared beside her, also mindlessly blinking at Lumina.

"As in, the prince of The Zelkio Empire?" the two asked in unison.

"Yeah? He's right behind us.". Nini and N glanced backwards and almost choked on their breath as they saw Lumios. Lumios tried to give one of the energy gears to an undamaged, clothes included, Solus. However, Solus continually refused while stating he wasn't injured anymore and Lumios should save the gears. Nini rubbed one of her cheeks with her free hand and sighed meekly.

"I don't know what to be more shocked about... that I've seen three people from royalty in one day, or that one of them was in public wearing pjs...," Nini uttered. Nina lowered her hand as N's projection dispersed.

"Ok... I have a plan," Nini said with a serious tone.

"I'm all ears.".

"I'll use my lightning rapiers to keep the yokai in one place, then we'll have Sushido use her arrows to restrict its movements, so you'll be able to get a clean hit in.". Lumina nodded.

"I can do that," Sushi stated as the silver ice raft she and Oshi were on speeded over to Nini and Lumina. The trio nodded before Nini raised her lightning rapier into the air. Nini slashed it forward and constructed multiple floating lightning rapiers.

"I'll be off then.". Nini bent her knees before sprinting off with cyan lightning gathering under her feet to keep her afloat as the lightning rapiers flew behind her. The yokai shifted its attention to Nini as she sprinted straight for it. The yokai snarled and bore its fangs as it regrew the stinger of its scorpion tail.

The yokai roared as it gathered spirited chakra into its mouth. The yokai blasted the S.C. energy out of its mouth like a canon ball. The S.C. energy ball whistled through the air. Nini smirked as two of her lightning spirit mana rapiers rushed ahead of her. The lightning rapiers crackled before a net-like wall of cyan lightning formed between the two rapiers.

The S.C. energy ball slammed into the net, coming inches away from a smug Nini's face before the lightning net rubberbanded the S.C. energy ball and slingshotted it back at the yokai. The yokai jumped back and fired another S.C. energy ball. The two s.c energy balls slammed into each other and exploded vaporising the nearby water into a cloud of vapour.

For a moment, the battle seemed to stop. Suddenly, a swarm of cyan lightning rapiers erupted from the cloud of vapour. The yokai braced its legs in preparation to dodge the incoming lightning rapiers. The lightning rapiers abruptly shot out in different directions, causing the yokai to shockedly stagger as it stopped itself from jumping into any of the lightning rapiers.

The yokai darted its eyes at the lightning rapiers surrounding it as the rapiers began to crackle. Lightning spewed out from the rapiers before melding together and forming a net-like dome around the yokai. Nini stopped near the dome before holding her hands out towards it.

"Why don't I resize that for you?" Nini said cheekily before she slammed her hands together. The lightning net dome rapidly shrank in size as the lightning rapiers drew closer to the yokai before the shrinking stopped once they touched the yokai. Nini deviously grinned before swinging her head back to the others.

"Sushido, fire!" Nini exclaimed.

"You got it!". Sushi with Frostbite Thorn's bow string drawn and the many loaded arrows aimed upwards. Sushi released the spirit mana string, and the silver ice arrows catapulted into the air. The ice arrows glistened in the moonlight before splitting apart and tripling in quantity. The arrows arched through the air before reaching their apex and beginning to arch downwards.

The volley of silver ice arrows rained down from above and slammed into the yokai. With every instance of contact, the silver ice arrows pierced into the yokai's body before the arrows grew and spread out over the yokai to cover its body in silver ice. Sushi confidently double-fist pumped before Lumina zipped past her.

Covered by both her lightning veils, Lumina sprinted across the surface of the pond. She tightened her grip on the energy gear making cracks form all over it. The gear shattered under the pressure of her grip. The resulting energy mist soaked into the Lumina's lightnings, causing them to turn a paler shade. Nini dispelled her lightning rapiers and lightning net dome before Lumina zipped past her. At the drop of a dime, Lumina stopped running and reeled her fist back as all the lightning around her gathered in that fist.

"I would make a one-liner," Lumina said before she increased the grip of her reeled-back fist, "But Mother said they'd be wasted on those who can't give them back. Oh, and this is for hurting Solus, I guess.".

Like a bolt of lightning, Lumina swung her fist and struck the frozen yokai square in the face with a thunderously loud explosion of compressed air. The silver ice shattered from Lumina's punch, and the yokai's head popped like a balloon, in both appearance and sound, before its body was sent flying across the pond.
