"Gero, something is wrong with the atomic clocks in several RADU machines." My AI assistant tells me this while I try to make sense of the sentient police machine A52 left behind. "What's wrong with the clocks?" I asked the AI back since my atomic clocks were next to perfect.
"The time readings on some of them are way off, almost like some sort of strong energy hit them all at almost the same time when A52's signature disappeared." What the hell? Workers never recovered A52's body, but I assumed it was because the missiles had blown her up to bits, but this information was telling me otherwise. Was A52 still alive!? How!?
"Can you display the time clock difference from all the other clocks? Please show me all the decimal units on all the clocks, at least to the tenth decimal." My AI assistant soon displays the difference in the clock timings from all others in the glass before me, and when I look at it, I almost immediately recognize the pattern left behind.
It was the same pattern left behind by bigger molecules crashing against atomic clocks at near the speed of light I had done research on before, but how could that be? If A52 created a way to travel at near the speed of light or, heck, even exceeded it, some other sensors would've picked it up.
Lightspeed travel is still a fantasy-level type of science even for me, and I've developed a technology capable of analyzing data at nearly that speed. Yet information and electricity are easier to get that close to light speed but not mass; moving that fast would require next to infinite energy unless her, no way!
A52 has a state-of-the-art Quantum computer with self-awareness capabilities, something I myself still fail to replicate. Could it be that, in her desperation, she made a breakthrough with that processing power? How could she even do it? Am I too stupid to figure it out!? I already figured out how to replicate her Overclock mode, but this blows my mind.
"Analyze all the data available from all RADU units at that time and search for anomalies at the time of A52's signature loss and show it to me." My AI assistant quickly gets to work analyzing data faster than I would ever be able to, giving me all the results I needed in just a few seconds, which only confirmed my suspicions.

Almost all of the RADU machines had something wrong with them after A52 disappeared, to be precise. I don't think she vanished. More like she moved away so fast, it looked instant to anyone else, which for machines capable of processing information at the same rate as her would mean faster than light itself.
If Einstein, hundreds of years ago, was right, then that sort of thing should be impossible for a subject with matter, but then again, my own experiments have been proving the holes in the general theory of relativity. Something strange does happen near lightspeed, but if A52 is to be believed to be alive, then our understanding of it has been off.
I must find a way to find A52 to ask her myself because I simply cannot see how she could've pulled it off. An object's mass increases exponentially the more speed you add, so for her at around 200 kilos to travel at light speed, she would've weighed thousands of kilos.
Then again, her body was capable of resisting an asteroid impact from way higher forces than she had ever been supposed to. How did she do that, by the way? She also kind of disappeared now that I remember, but she did for only a small fraction of the time, unlike this time.
How can an object's mass be neglected and forces be distributed across multiple other planes of matter? Our world has only four dimensions, but we can only move in three of them and observe the fourth. Could it be that she has found a way to harness time itself!?
"Layla, could it be possible to quickly test everything that just happened using my abandoned 'GOD Theory?'" My Assistant Layla quickly responds and starts working on my previously abandoned General Optimization Dimensional Theory, which postulates that the universe is indeed lazy and will always want to take the easy ways to make the universe run, including time.
This time, my assistant took longer than a couple of seconds but finally came up with an answer after analyzing all the data available with the possibility of A52 traveling near the speed of light. Based on my GOD theory, the results are nearly identical to my expectations.
There was just one thing that concerned me about my own theory being correct. I abandoned the GOD theory because it would mean horrible things about the universe. Like the fact that we don't know why the galaxies are moving away from us, the implications of my GOD theory would mean that it's not them moving away from us but a universe birth we can't even see that is moving us all away.
"Layla, try to find A52's signature again. This time, try using all the bandwidths known to be used by her and try to find her. I need to go see someone in Brazil."
