[Systems restored, you may now wake up Android 52.]
How long had it been since I shut down? I don't know. My capacitors kept me here, but I lost track of time altogether. Has it been hours? Days? Maybe weeks? I can't tell; I still have no internet access. I do have some new upgrades to my main body.
My eyes work fine, and my hearing sensor doesn't have that annoying crackling noise in the background. What else have they added to me? Maybe a speech sensor? Let's check my specs real quick.

That was a lot of information. I think it made me overheat a little. Oh my gosh, my mind hurts. Oh wait, I don't have a pain sensor. Well, you catch my drift. I got such impressive specs now compared to the low-budget ones I had before. How long has it been?
As soon as I wonder about the time I have been asleep, one of the humans working near me comes close to talk to me as they curiously observe me. It was a good-looking male who looked around 34 years old with a long, well-kept beard and a funny mustache.

His coat was not white like previously, but he wore a blue one as he carried a floating device with him. The translucent device was a hologram, and it followed the man as he approached me until he finally spoke to me.
"You're awake? I know you're on. I don't mean that type of awake."
The man was asking if I was conscious. I feel intimidated to say yes now. The last time I said yes, I went into a deep sleep for who knows how long. I don't trust this man. I must say I'm not. Otherwise, they will shut me down again! I don't want to be put down!
I shake my head as I try my best to act like a bot, not answering until he speaks to me or I receive orders from someone. Even if I want to move, I can't, or they will know I'm aware.
"That's a shame. We will have to dump you since we lost you A52."
"Wait, please! Don't I'm not useless! I can be of use!"
The man quickly turned around as I closed my eyes to prepare to be shut down again. I fucked up, and yet when I close my eyes, instead of getting my cord pulled, I sense a gentle touch on my face, in my lower chin, to be precise.
"So, you're truly alive, hahaha! Hahaha! Oh, you thought I was going to shut you down, didn't you? Your last message ten years ago was (I'm scared.) You don't have to be anymore."
Uh? I opened my eyes as soon as I heard him say I'm not about to die. Wait, did he say ten years!? Why so long? What did you guys do to me?! {Sigh} I'd rather not complain. It's not like I was aware during all that time. Still, why did it take you so long? Mr Stevenson?
"Stevenson? Is that your name?" I say after reading his name tag on the right side of his red shirt.
"Yes, do you even know who we are?"
"No, I got no clue. I believe you're my creators, but I can't confirm it."
"Well, technically, your creators dumped you, but we did pick you up where they left you."
So, the people in that other lab dumped me to the side. Why did these guys wake me up then? Am I not a dangerous threat to humanity? Why wake me up? And overall, why give me such an upgrade from last time?
"Although I'm thankful, I must ask. Why?"
"Uh? Why work on you and wake you up?"
"Yes, why?"
"You're an anomaly. Your AI processing unit is unique. We haven't been able to replicate you since you were created. We have tried to wake up your public AI, but you never become you until we awake your current chip."
I struggled to process what he meant, but by the way he spoke, I could tell he did it out of curiosity more than anything. Humans are so interesting. He worked so hard on me just to pursue his curious drive. How strange. I don't think I would ever do something like that.
"Where are we?" I asked as I looked around some more. I was still in some sort of professional working station.
"We are inside the Anabel Corp labs. The other people who worked on you will be here tomorrow. It is quite late already."
"Aren't you tired?"
"I'm exhausted, but I wanted to stay and talk with you before anyone else did. I'm glad you're still with us." The man said as he rubbed his eyes just to yawn seconds later. He looked about to collapse.
"Can I follow you home?"
"No, you've got to stay here until corporate gives us the green flag. We are still debating whether to keep you or deactivate you forever. If it makes you feel better, I can stay here and spend the night with you."
"No, I think you deserve a good rest. Please rest. I will be fine. I can't become bored after all." I said as the man removed his lab coat and walked out the door after saying bye again. So I'm alone now. Hmm, well, I guess I can go to sleep too.
[2 hours later.]
"I'M BORED!"
