Chapter 45: A52's Death?

Chapter 45: A52's Death?

The task force, known as 'R.A.D.U.,' is a formidable entity. Their unparalleled might is matched only by their commitment to maintaining the highest level of secrecy while combating monstrous threats worldwide.

At the helm of these cutting-edge machines is the brilliant mind of Dr. Gero, the newest addition to the round table. Under the vigilant supervision of Alexander, Gero embarked on the creation of these advanced machines capable of effortlessly neutralizing Avenger-level threats.

The material quality is not as high as that of the Android 52, but due to their high numbers and incredible technological breakthroughs, they're close to matching A52. One single member from the task force would be enough to give A52 trouble, but they never attack alone.

These gigantic machines of metal and titanium are the pinnacle of human engineering, the best of the best when it comes to combat. A52 might have the upper hand by a long shot when it comes to intelligence, but she will be in trouble once the task force arrives with a big boom.

The landing of the task force R.A.D.U marked the explosion. A deafening boom noise spread across the city as soon as tons of them landed on the same spot, all seeking but one single target. These gigantic machines armed to the teeth with guns would soon start seeking for the target.

Armed with the latest weapons developed by Walsh and Gero, these machines, around ten feet tall, stood up like a sore thumb in the streets of el Capitano city, but yet the people didn't seem to notice or even move at the sight of such atrocities.

The big letters of the corporation show across the top part of their oddly shaped armor, like that of a dinosaur that never developed feathers or scales. A genuinely terrific order of unstoppable machines walking through the city, only looking for one target, A52.

Thanks to their previous intel and the constant location finder planted by Dr. Walsh, it doesn't take them long to find A52, causing her confusion when she first sees the new machines. A52 doesn't move or react for a while until the machines start loading their weapons and arrive in more significant numbers.

The machines do not have feelings, nor do they understand speech, so it would be only a matter of time before they would begin their attack on the little Android, who didn't know what to think of the machines. 'Is this some sort of joke, though?' thinking these new fighters would be as clunky as Walsh's creations, A52 underestimated R.A.D.U.

Yet the task force didn't underestimate A52 as they waited for everyone in their force to surround A52 first before they would start their attack, a brilliant strategy to make sure she would be erased forever from the face of the planet.

It doesn't take them long before the task force is ready to attack A52, who finally begins to take the machines more seriously once the first one begins to fire high-caliber rounds at her. The above-mentioned rounds packed such a punch that whenever they hit the ground, they made a considerable hole in it, finally sending a message to A52.

The seriousness of the attack finally sends a profound warning to A52b, but by now, it is too late as the machines begin their strategy of destruction and control by firing all at one at the same target, who could barely get out of the way in time.

The massive destruction left behind by the bullets crashing into the floor only serves to obstruct A52, as her ability to move freely is limited by the constant debris crashing against her, not to mention the smoke from the explosions.

A52, still underestimating the strenght of these new machines, only goes for the logical way out, which would be to fight out the situation, so she prepares her specialty attack, 'the rocket punch.' thinking it would work, she is only disolutioned further when her attack lands flat on one of the machines.

While her hand did manage to knock the machine down, it did not blow it away like those steel-built ones, as these new machines were equipped to resist blunt force attacks, making A52's weapons useless against the upgraded machines.

As a last resort for evading the constant attacks from Task Force A52, she once again resorts to one of her battle tricks, which she calls 'Overclock.' It is a brilliant strategy at first that gives her an edge over the machines who don't react as quickly as she does in this mode. Little did she know they slowly began to adapt.

{Minute 1:48}

A52 slowly moves around freely at first, just to be shocked when the machines begin to move at about the same speed as her in Overclock mode. It is distressing to her to see the machines suddenly moving just like before when they were supposed to be slow.

Out of options, A52 tries her best to run away, but it is constantly met with resistance in every direction that the Task Force blocks. Anywhere A52 turns, there's a machine waiting for her; every second, thousands of rounds are shot at her, with them able to get out of the way every time just barely.

At this point, the machines in charge of the big guns all fire their missiles as their master plan gets to the end, cornering A52 right where they wanted her in the middle of a big street where she can't run or hide from total doom.

The missiles don't take A52 by surprise. Still, she is so overwhelmed by things coming at her she can't do anything but watch as the slow missiles inch closer and closer toward her without being able to do anything about it as she is slowly pushed in the direction of the missiles.

{Minute 2:15}

In the end, A52 is outclassed by the enemy numbers, ending with a short fight in the total defeat of A52 in a massive explosion that sends parts of them flying across the pavement. In the giant cloud of dirt and smoke created by the explosion, nothing can be seen of A52, just some blown parts of her and a hole in the middle of the street.
