Hours went by, and we kept on flying and flying and flying. Geez, just how far away were these guys taking me? To the other side of the planet or what? While I have enjoyed the flight by looking at the beautiful landscapes, I must also say that my butt hurts. We have been flying for a while now.
One of the more rookie-looking soldiers kept asking me all sorts of questions, especially after I returned my voice to a normal one instead of the overly comical helium-powered one.
"Is it true you can fly?" The guy asks me as he gets right to my face. I felt like pushing him away a little, but he wasn't being malicious, so I let it slip as I kept answering him.
"Yeah, I can. I even saved two people with my abilities one time." Oh gosh, I wish I hadn't told them anything, as everyone now pushed me to tell them the story of the time I used my flying powers to save two powerless pilots from their doom.
Not only that but also the time I killed people with some ingenious thinking. How I had deflected a heat-sensing missile away with a hot rock. And all of my other short adventures so far, which they all complacently heard until I got to Toshiba.
"I wouldn't be comfortable telling us about your upcoming case. It might incriminate you." The younger soldier tells me as he tries to keep me quiet.
"But I know I did nothing wrong. That bitch was the first one to pass the threshold. She tried to control me." I answered as the helicopter began to slow down and descend in what looked like a regular patch of grass. I couldn't understand why until the entire floor began to shake.
"Woah! Is this what an earthquake feels like?" I say as the soldiers look calm like this was a regular everyday occurrence. Soon, the floor opened up and revealed a metal platform in the form of an elevator, which would take the entire ducking helicopter underground.
The engineer who came up with such a crazy idea must have been high on crack or something because how the hell do you even come up with such an engineered madness of an idea? I guess these curious designs were what made humans human.
Once the entire helicopter is underground, I'm instructed to walk with them as everyone greets us, specifically me. Why were all the people around me so happy to see me? Wasn't I like a huge liability? How come they all looked excited? Was I hallucinating things?

"Welcome to your new home, private A52. Sorry, I had to be so formal up there; the media can't know what we are doing with you." Aaron says as he puts a soldier's cap on me, yet I still don't understand what the heck he means.
"Private? Wait a minute, I never signed up for the Army! You kidnapped me!" Jake, the youngest of them, suddenly picks on my cheek as he keeps showing me the rest of the base after removing my cuffs.
Why were they so confident I wouldn't fly away? Was it because I would never do that or because they don't see me as a threath? Whatever it is, I'm sure happy to not be in a cage with that manic Toshiba around, but I'm not sure the Army is my thing, ya know?
"Pass the ball!" "Higher, higher!" "Damn it! You slippery bastard!" "AHAHAHA!" Some men playing basketball near one of the stations the private was showing me caught my attention, and I quickly drifted away from him to approach the guys playing.
I was curious to see them play as I had tried to do so before, but I couldn't get it back then. I stood still nearby, watching them play until a foul ball eventually hit me in the side of the face, making me realize I was getting way too close. The hit did make everyone aware of my existence, eventually making one of them curious enough to talk to me.
"Hey! Are you new here? I've never seen you around." The guy asked as he left the courtyard while drenched in sweat. The guy had a particular male odor, probably coming from his sweat.
"Ye-Yeah! I arrived just today."
"Oh, cool, well, you seem like you're sad. Wanna join us? It might help you cheer up, you know." The guy spouts as he gathers some of the other guy's attention to introduce them to me until the younger private in charge of me finds me.
"Here you are 52! You should not do that very often. You'll get me in trouble!"
"Hey, Jake. Glad to see you're still in one piece after the incident." The guy who invited me to play taunts Jake as he tries to distance me from him.
"Ahaha, funny guy, are you Klevan? How about I kick your ass in some arm wrestling?" The guys in the back quickly throw wood onto the fire as Klevan accepts the rookie's challenge. All the guys made the classic trash talk pregame, saying things like, "he called you gay, bro!" "Said you're a female cat, yo!"
If there is anything I have learned about men in my short life, it is that they're way more straightforward creatures than females. They always go for an immediate problem solution instead of playing around with emotional backlash or guilt trips like me. How interesting. I wonder if that's why I slightly fell in love with Anton. I meant "Grew respect!"
[Liar. You love him. You wouldn't have a virtual picture of you in a bridal dress with him next to you if you didn't]
AHH! Mysterious voice! You're alive! I thought I lost you forever! And although I'm happy to hear from you, I must also say! WHY!!!!!? Why are you snitching on me like that? It's not what friends do!
[True! Regular friends don't. But I'm not any friend; I'm your best friend here to embarrass you whenever I get a chance.]
What the?! Did you get an upgrade or what? I swear I don't remember you being so sassy before. I remember you more like a robot helper. Now, I kind of want to turn you off.
[Silence, Silence, Silence]
Ah, the classic. Of course, you go quiet at a time like this.
