[One of the BugBear's POV]
From the humans appeared a puny stick. It was white and red in color.
"What can one puny think stick do to our Chief's weapon." One of the BugBears replied after seeing it appear.
He was right. What possibly beat our____
Whamp.
A single sound was heard.
The cheering and the chanting all stopped and stare at the middle of the fighting ground.
The Chief's face got slammed by the stick.
The Chief then kneeled down and used his weapon and support.
He checked his mouth before spitting something out.
"Look's like one of his teeth was broken."
The Chief now hold the Halberd close to him and he became cautious.
As I take a closer look at our masked visitor.
Something seems off, the painting seemed to have changed. Seems like Chief noticed it too.
The eye of the beast from the mask.
It's open now.
[Red's POV]
The stage got quiet. Just the way I like it.
Looks like their Chief put up his guard. He holds the Halberd with two arms in a position of a spear.
I return the favor, pointing it at him, cheering him on the staff.
Just before one of my sweat drips down my face and lands on the ground.
We both closed in the gap and clash our weapons together.
Clunkh!!!!!
I started to extend my staff to blindside, on the right, and started thrusting multiple shots on his right shoulder.
[Staff Technique: Poke]
Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings.
At least 3 Shots landed on him as he tries to parry to incoming shorts with his weapon, and he counter-attacked with a vertical slash from below to above.
I stopped my attack just in time to guard it with my staff. Thankfully, my staff was sturdy enough to withstand the heavy blows from him.
The Chief backed off and reached something out from his pocket.
As soon as I see that, I started moving the staff in front of me and spin it.
[Staff Blocking Technique: Front Spin]
He picked the small knives out of his armor and threw them in my direction.
I deflected some of the knives and bolted toward him.
I swung my Staff at him.
[Staff Technique: Cross Strike]
The staff strike on his ankle. However, he ignored the pain and swung his weapon from the top of his head down on me.
[Axe Technique: Overhead Smash]
As it swings midway, I side-stepped to the right and lifts up my staff.
[Staff Technique: Up Strike]
It hits the elbow. Causing the Chief's arm to be numb. However, he was still gripping tight on the Polearm.
He swung despite not being able to feel a thing on his arm.
I side-stepped to the left and Hit three Strikes on him.
[Staff Technique: Sweeping Combo 1]
[Poke] ---> [Cross-Strike] ---> [Down Strike]
The attack swept his feet off the ground, and I proceed to use:
[Staff Technique: Downward Smash]
With the full weight of the staff as well as the amount of strength I exert on the staff, I smashed the Chief to the ground.
I walked towards the Chief and saw that he was knocked out. His eye all white and he was not moving.
Naively, I turn my back on him and walk away when suddenly____
[Behind Thou!]
Before I could even turn my back in time, Something pierced through my left shoulder.
The piercing took me off my feet as I flew together with the impact of the weapon and slams against the wall.
It was the Halberd.
My shoulder got impaled together with the Halberd's Spearhead and was stuck to the wall.
"ARGGHHHHHHJSHH!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The pain. It hurts like hell.
I threw up a bit as I tried to remove the Halbert to no avail.
Out of the dust, shows a silhouette. The Chief was there.
And now his entire body was red in colour. The muscles and veins all popped out. He starts to breathe heavily while looking at me.
"Kill...Must Kill him..."
With that, he charged toward me.
His hand took two weapons out from his back, two butcher knives.
I bite on the Staff, and start counting 3..2..1 before screaming in pain as I removed the Halbert from my shoulder.
As he charged and Cleave me, I weave to the right and threw a Strike.
[Right Body Staff Poke]
The attack did no damage to him at all as I dodge roll to the other side.

I heard a notification-sounding effect on my head.
[Looks like the Enemy has used Berserk.]
"Berserk?"

"So what do I do."
[Forbear him as long as thou can, i shall keep physic thy wound.]
As he says that, my arm stops bleeding as much as it did. It felt warm. I managed to be able to lift my left arm a bit.
I lift my staff to protect myself against him.
He threw one of his Butcher knives. I slam the knife with strength and redirect it to the other side.
"It's pretty hard to deflect a knife that's the size of your arm huh."
I checked my surrounding, seeing that I had more space to roam and dodge around due to the spectators scared of getting caught up in their Chief's rampage.
"This is a double edge sword... But let's do it."
I start digging the ground with the pole and in an instant jump on the staff. Imitation how a monkey climbs a tree, I place my hand horizontally as if I'm looking for him, taunting.
He Roared and bulldozed in my direction.
Successfully taunting him, I start zigzagging around the place avoiding him.
The more I dodged and avoid his attacks, I could feel that I'm starting to get exhausted.
I start to do small damage to his chest and legs, hoping it will tire him out.
But the pain doesn't affect him at all.
I had to scurry across the village, catching my breath every once in a while.
Just then.
[Done.]
Look's like preparation is done.
I stopped in front of the Chief. Staring at him right in his eyes as I muttered the words:
"Switch."
