Blood Red Form

[Vampire Queen's POV]

This human. Inhabitant of the forsaken world. One that rejected my liege and the rest of us.

It has been centuries since I have heard any news of that world. The mana of this side of the world was so little that it was almost non-existent, so we had to improvise and adapt to the world. The next time we would be able to even sense mana was during "that" time.

The day when the first dungeon emerges.

After immediately sensing the mana flow, I immediately my way towards the dungeon, only to find out that multiple humans from different factions already gathered there. To avoid getting my identity exposed, I kept my head low and observed every move made by the humans.

The humans were getting stronger upon entering the dungeon but they weren't enough to match against any of the vampires.

Because of that, I started placing vampire and vampire nobles in each region where a dungeon would appear and demanded reports to be submitted to me regularly.

One of the latest reports detailed an incident where a human managed to win against the Nine-tailed Fox. The Nine-tailed Fox was by no means an easy opponent, even if she was weakened. Even I have no absolute confidence that I would be able to beat her, yet the report claims that this human managed to do so, with multiple evidence and claims to back its credibility.

Upon facing the human myself, it seems the reason was clear. A high-tier ranked mage was the one who beat it. Though he's not wearing any robe to symbolise his rank, the way he moves and invokes high-ranking spells at such a rapid speed is not something any normal mage can do.

Could the high council have finally sent "the silence" to clean up the mess that Lord Vasilius made?

If so, how? And why now?

The human started launching his spell against mine, as every spell I had thrown would end up being cancelled. Using magic cancel as an offensive spell, was absolutely ridiculous yet he has been able to launch spells that have the same amount of mana in my spells, cancelling out all of them.

Beating me to the ground, the human stood over me and grabbed Marceline's journal.

With deep hatred and wrath for the human, I used the last resort in my arsenal.

[Blood Limit - Unlocked]

With this, I should have enough strength to kill him and end all of this once and for all.

**

River of blood poured in from outside the room and flowed right into the queen as her eyes turned into a void of darkness while the rest of her body was drenched in a pool of blood seemingly forming a dress out of it.

What accompanied the sudden transformation was the intense sharp and heavy atmosphere the queen brought. The surrounding raw power from the aura the queen had was enough to put Red on his knee as the strength in his leg seemingly faded away while his entire was tensed up with goosebumps feeling his entire body like thousands of needles poking his body. It was hard to even breathe as well as there was seemingly something grabbing his throat while he received cuts mysteriously all over his hands and legs.

The queen slowly descends to the ground, taking her time as she slowly strolls forward where Red is kneeling.

With each step she took, the pressure seemingly multiplied by 2 folds, as whatever was around his neck was squeezing tighter.

[....Fo...c...Foc....]

Ryong was practically shouting at the top of his lungs towards Red in his mind yet Red was not able to listen. His eyes were dazed with extreme confusion, while his head filled with what appeared to be a jackhammer, pounding his head repeatedly.

While in the real world, Red's body was kneeling motionless, in his mind lies a subspace that the other entities inhabited. The subspace itself is depicted in the layout of Red's dormitory room. The inhabitants in it happened to be Ryong, Blue and sometimes even Red himself.

If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.

Ryong who lost his memory depicted the ideal image of himself in the form of Red's body with the only difference being that his face is being covered by the mask.

Slamming into the table, Ryong looked out into the TV in the room that was showing Red's vision. Currently distorted and filled with blurry images, it was certain, he was in a state of absolute confusion.

[Shit... Was the Vampire Queen too much of an opponent for him? Should I intervene again?]

As he contemplated whether he should possess Red once again to bail him out, the screen started to shake.

Lying in the corner of the room, a shadowy figure emerges from seemingly nowhere, this time lying down next to the wall yawning.

However, unlike Ryong who has made contact and established a connection with the host of the body. Red had no idea that there was another entity in his body. This caused the entity to be veiled in a cloud of shadows with no exact form materialized.

He was simply a shadow with a humanoid figure.

Even then, the entity was still able to talk regardless.

[Looks like he's in trouble again, huh?]

Stepping up in caution, Ryong took a stance as he stood in front of the shadow seemingly ready to strike at any moment.

[I don't know what your business is, demon. But you do not belong here, leave at once.]

Ryong warned as the mask he was wearing changed into that of a ferocious beast. The once small horns transformed into one that had dragons-shaped formed over it. The mouth of the mask is now transformed into one with sharp teeth, similar to the ones a dragon has.

The shadowy figure cackled as he stood up from his sleeping position nonchalantly while scratching his head.

[Hey, you can't blame me for this. It's not like I want to be he__ Woah!]

In a flash, Ryong appeared right in front of the shadow with his right hand pulled back as he launched his fist like a cannon, smashing his target with all his might.

However, the shadow could already see it coming, as he simply tilted his head and slipped past Ryong's fist.

[Don't forget, it was me who gave [Mimicry] to him, unlike the half-bake skill you tried giving him]

Upon missing his attack, Ryong ended up smashing the Red's wall, blowing it up. Due to the room still within Red's mind, the wall ended up returning to its initial state.

Ryong followed up immediately with a [Left-Roundhouse Kick] since the shadow's body was pretty much exposed at this point as he swung his leg with great strength striking at the shadow figure.

But yet again, the shadow saw it coming as he readied his arm. Right before the kick landed, using his bicep and shoulder, the shadow was able to get control of Ryong's leg as he caught the kick between his arms.

[Mimicry: Left-Roundhouse Kick]

The shadow retaliated as he yanked Ryong's foot forward and returned with an explosive kick of his own, slamming right where Ryong's face was located.

THUMP!!

The kick landed on Ryong's arm as he pulled his arms up to guard. However, the impact was greater than he expected as Ryong lost his footing and flew a few centimetres away from where he stood.

[Gr... You__]

The room started shaking once again as the TV in the room started blinking between black and white back and forth. As both of the entities stared at the TV screen, shooting out from within it was a human male as he flew straight to Ryong's arms.

Surprised, Ryong flinched as the human flew straight to him, prompting him to ignore the shadow he was fighting a while ago and catching him.

[Who is th__ Red? Are you ok? Red?]

It was Red, seemingly sleeping as he lay resting on Ryong's arms unconscious.

[Red? Talk to me. Red. Wake up!]

No matter how much Ryong tried shaking or yelling at the owner of the body to wake up, he simply wouldn't budge.

As he continued putting in his best effort to wake up Red, he was suddenly reminded that he was dealing with someone.

Turning his head to where the shadow was last seen, he was gone. As he tilts his head back forward. The shadow was already beside the TV screen.

[STOP, GET AWAY FROM THER__]

[Too late. I'm going to go have some fun, Hahaha.]

The shadow replied laughing as he placed his palm on the TV screen, disappearing from the room.

Meanwhile, in the real world, The vampire queen was a moment away from one-shotting our protagonist when suddenly the mask worn by Red was dyed in the colour black. A long with it came with the mask forming what seemed to be 3 ears on both the left and right side of the mask.
