"I will do it again for free." Those words certainly left a deep impression on the audience. It was so effective that no one in the room spoke for more than 30 seconds. Just then, something disrupted the silence in the room.
The sound of something being slapped.
Looks like the sound originated from where Irene was sitting and was most probably done by her as well, given the evidence that her forehead was now a bright red with her handprint there.
Looks like that's not all. There are sparks of electricity popping out from her body slowly, like an overcharged battery showing a reaction.
Looks like when I return, I'm going to be murdered huh - Red thought to himself as Irene's gaze meets his and the electricity intensity around her seemed to increase, causing even the person sitting beside her to worry.
"Ahem... Given that the rules are absolute here, severe punishment is to be taken. Does the defendant have anything they would like to comment to defend himself?"
"That idiot deserves it. Using his authority and status, he threatens students and berates them just because of their status, and at one point even attacks the student."
The crowd started murmuring together like a bunch of teenage girls gossiping while Alastor's face started to be filled with angry/concerned expressions while his body started shaking. Before he opened his mouth, one of the highly authoritative figures who was sitting next to him, whispered something in his ear. With the man finished speaking to him, Alastor appeared relaxed and his body stopped shaking. In fact, he seemed more confident, staring down at Red and condescendingly speaking to him.
"Me? Threatening a student and conjuring a spell directly on a student? You must be joking. How can I, who come from a lineage house conduct such a barbaric action against no less a student? Most importantly, where's your proof?"
"The students around are there when the incident happened. Aren't they witness themselves?" Red retorted affirming his tone and remarks.
Alastor's facial expression immediately turned into an eerie grin of delight. To him, the remarks that Red implicated were like a perfect jigsaw puzzle piece, just the right piece to complete the puzzle.
"An excellent idea. On that note, I would like the court to bring in the witness and the victim of the incident herself. Please join us, Miss Kjede."
The door opened and the entrance revealed the witness to the event.
Riri.
"Tell me Miss Kjede. Have I in any way threatened you or caused harm to you?"

Riri's expression was different compared to how she normally is in class. She's a student that is usually bright and had a calm demeanour. However, her head lay low, and her expression darkened to an emotion that I never imagined coming from her. Fear.
"...No... He did not. He was only looking out for my well-being."
Red's eyes widened but he wasn't surprised. Given the evidence of how Alastor was so confident even when his victim was testifying against him. It's safe to say...he bought her over.
"Furthermore, you accuse me of using my status to threaten the supposed student. That cannot be further from the truth, given that the role of the nobles is to guide the commoner to a better path. If anything... you are the one leading the students astray." Alastor said with confidence while using his hand gesture to express his words, making it sound more convenient. His last action was placing his fingers on his face while looking down at Red.
Red froze in place. He was wearing a mask but everyone could tell he was fuming. Why? The veins in his neck are starting to pop out visibly, his hand grabbing on the table placed in front was starting to show an imprint of his hands while the muscles from his arm started flexing and showing out.
"Huh?"
It was one word.
That one word forced everyone to instinctively reached for their weapons. They all felt the need to protect themselves as something was threatening their sense of security.
It was a warning to these mages.
It was bloodlust.
Alastor who was previously confident, now shrunk behind the back of the high authoritative figure while pointing his wand at Red. His hands are all shaken while his eyes squirmed to try and avoid looking into the gaze of the outsider.
Red's mask started changing again, the painting of the creature in the mask showed a sinister grin while everyone was petrified with shock and discomfort at the sight of something that unusual. The beast looked as if it was ready to devour anyone.
The pressure grew heavier and dense in the surrounding room which made everyone grow even warier. Picture something heavy sitting on the neck of everyone. This made people uncomfortable, tired, and fatigued. Some of them even had a hard time breathing because of this intense pressure.
Riri, who was still a fairly new student in magecraft, had a hard time coping with whatever was happening. In the end, she fainted from the intense pressure and fell to the ground.
Even Irene, who was a Sage-level mage, had to cast mental fortitude to protect herself. Even though that is too much, she was able to hold on with her strong willpower.
In fact, most of the audience was unable to cope with the bloodlust protruding out from Red's body. Why would they? Since it's a peaceful time when there are no wars. These people generally don't know how to deal with this situation.
Only people who experienced fighting for their lives or surviving a fight/war had a way to stay conscious. These people happened to be Deputy Head Edmund Rich and Headmaster Matthew Adhira.
"Stand down Mr Jenkins, that's an order."
With a warning from the headmaster, Red stared at him for a few seconds. The headmaster was several times stronger than him, it would not be wise at all to fight him, along with Professor Edmund who could have beaten him previously as well.
With no other choice, Red sighed. Reducing the bloodlust emitted until it was completely gone. The rest who could feel the pressure gone, begin to rub their throats which were dry due to the incident.
" *Cough*, *Cough*... Sir Adhira... is this not proof that he was the savage one, causing harm to his student..."
Alastor continued running his mouth the moment he gained control of his body.
The audience to his right immediately tried to cover his mouth to prevent him from speaking. However, the audience was starting to align themselves with what Alastor was saying and was beginning to side with him.
With the rest of the audience seemingly agreeing with what Alastor was saying, they started shouting and jeering the headmaster for his decision to remove and punish Cedrick Jenkins.
With seemingly no choice, the headmaster raised the mallet and was about to announce the final decision for Cedricks Jenkins's approval to remain in Elderwinn when something appeared out of the blue.
An irregular rectangular-shaped box materialised right in front of Red. It was the same rectangular box that Red have always been able to see. The only difference is that this time it was visible to everyone else.
In the rectangular-shaped box appeared words. Words that seemingly belonged to the alphabets of Mundi magicae. The only reason why Red could read it was due to Ryong's mask as well as the forced memorization of word training conducted by Irene. Regardless, the word stated there was written clearly and big enough that everyone in the room was able to read it.
<* I have the evidence. *>
Red stare blankly at the box, uttering a single word:
"Blue?"
