News of Elderwinn's attack started spreading across the magical world like wildfire.
Newspaper, rumours, gossips, podcasts held, talking about the incident, witness account, any sort of media regarding the incident was known to everyone. It was the highlight news of the magical world.
There was several key information in the incident that was kept from the majority of the public, such as the identity of the perpetrator being a vampire and a werewolf.
But the fact that there was a mage wearing a mask who saved the audience, that information couldn't be contained, and, as a result, The Masked Magus was a title given to the hero who saved Elderwinn.
As for the whereabouts of the Masked Magus...
The man himself was currently detained in the cell, located in the headquarters of the Ministry of Magic.
Placed in a cell that has the shape of a cube. Red sat down, waiting for what's about to come and started his magic breathing once again, to kill time.
All 6 flat surfaces of the cell were transparent.
Made from a man-made crystal known as Petalite, a Petalite was discovered when a magic engineer who was experimenting with some of the materials and ores, hoping to create a material that could have sustain good magic conductivity. The experiment ended up failing not before discovering what remained at the end. A crystal formed in the shape of a flower petal.
The properties of the Petalite are rather unique to magic. It is domain by default. But when magic is used on it, the crystal absorbs the mana flow around it and becomes hardened. Which meant, the more mana it absorbs, the harder the crystal is. If by some miracle someone is able to destroy part of the crystal, the crystal will use the mana to regenerate the broken parts. You would need an awful amount of raw strength to break the Petalite. Strengthening magic casted on yourself would be absorbed by the crystal as well.
Oddly enough, to get the crystal to change shape, you would only need to heat it with ordinary fire, and it will change according to what the user wants.
Red, on the other hand, has the strength to break the crystal with no issue, but doing that would land him in more troubles than he thought, so he had no choice but to sit still as the discussion of the incident between the high councils conduct.
The reason behind Red's arrest was simple. He was simply too suspicious.
A random outsider who came into Mundi Magicae for less than a month managed to be a professor in the school? Not only that, the students he taught were growing at such exponentially fast rates. Furthermore, for the Princess of the Country to be one of his students was already suspicious enough already. Being missing from his student's match for a few day, just to return when they were being attacked, and there being no alibi as to where he was when the attack started.
It all seems as if he was conspiring with the intruders himself.
The Ministers of Magic were at a loss. On one hand, he was too suspicious to be released with all this evidence stacked against him. On the other hand, he did save Elderwinn from destruction. On top of that, the princess herself was safe because of his actions.
It was a hard choice. The minister continued debating and arguing over what should be done to Cedrick Jenkins. That is until Headmaster Adhira appears through the door smilling.

"Father?"
One of the members of the Minister of Magic spoke while the rest of them turned their head, taking a look at who it was.
"Now, gentlemen. Let us have a chat." Headmaster Matthew Adhira spoke, closing the door to the meeting room shut.
**
[Red's POV]
"You're free to go."
One of the guards spoke as he held an artifact in his arm and chanted, releasing a window of space from the cube for me to leave.
"Free to go? That's it?"
"Yes. Please head to the meeting room in the meantime. You are being summoned there."
The guard spoke as he pointed me the way to the office while standing still and bowed.
I followed his instructions and headed down the hallway, only stopping at one of the bigger doors shown in these areas.
This must be the door.
I took a step forward and knocked on the door 3 times.
A familiar voice responded, "Come in."
Stepping in, I was immediately met with Headmaster Adhira in front.
At the back were more old men, looking around the age of 40 to 60s.
Most of them were in a robe colors I have never seen, with purple (Sage rank) being the lowest ranked shown here.
"Come. Sit."
I followed the headmaster's instructions and took a seat.
All eyes were on me.
"So now, what?"
"This impudent brat. Don't you know how to respect your elders?'
I scoffed and ignored the old man who made the comment while headmaster Adhira laughed and began speaking.
"They have reasons to believe you are conspiring with the vampires, but I managed to debunked their suspicion. So now the question is, how do we proceed from here onwards."
A deep voice spoke from the corner of the room as I turned my head to see who it was. The man was wearing a bronze robe and was reading off from a paper. The man was dressed professionally, wearing a suit, along with dark brown hair that was cut neatly and square glasses that fit in the office setting. He looks exactly how a politician is dressed. Though something about his face feature does seem very familiar.
"After much reports and details. It's certain that these creatures came from your world and have exposed our society and even steal some of the magical knowledge we withheld from the public."
"Coming from the people who disclosed the information of the new spirit master. Especially from the royal family."
The door burst open, with a group of guards lined up in order. In a moment, the guards who were lined all, all stood at one side and kneeled down, making a grand entrance for a person of importance.
Walking in is a young man with a dignified and imposing aura. The young man had a distinct blue hair that I remembered seeing somewhere earlier on, along with the mage's robe equipped.
There was a symbol of insignia sewn over the back of the mage's robe compared to the normal mage's who did not have anything sewn on. The customised robe also consisted of multiple badges and pins as of to show off its power.
It's clear this was a person of importance.
The young man who looked younger than me storm straight in and slammed his table against the table.
With quivering voice, he spoke.
"Who are you. To keep that information from the royal family? Do you have a death wish?"
The mana around the young man's body starts vibrating violently, as if something was going to erupt at a moment's notice.
The same man with the deep voice who started the conversation, once again stood up and bowed, before making his comments.
"With all due respect, your highness. We have been spending our resources trying to find the next spirit master for ages. We have checked every one of the mages and non Magus that was born in this country. The only one we did not manage to check upon were you and your sister due to the royal family handling the birth of the child secretly until later notice."
Confused, I turned my head towards headmaster Adhira asking, "What's a spirit master?"
"Spirit Master, as one would call it, is a being of immense strength due to his/her ties to the spirit king. There are many who have summoned spirits to aid them. But being a spirit master bypass all of that as to the spirits themselves, the spirit masters are viewed as an equal to the spirit king. All spirit bows down to the king no matter how strong the spirit themselves are. It was told that the Witch of Beginning herself was a Spirit Master being the first human to be able to wield magic. The Spirit King found her amusing and has since kept closed ties with her ever since, even after her death. It is said that anyone who was reincarnated as the spirit master would often affect the world itself. Though that's a rumor, HAHAHAHA."
I don't know how this old man could spit a whole story like this and just brush it off as a rumor.
The young man, aka the prince, slams on the table once again. He wasn't able to say anything and could only stare on the table before turning his head and leaving. Before stepping out the door, he turned his head to me and bowed, mouthing the words: "Thank you." Before leaving.
"Hoh, for even the rash Prince to thank you. Good job, Mr. Jenkins." Headmaster Adhira continued to jeer while poking fun at me.
"Enough. This is the decision we have decided to undertake.' The serious man spoken once again.
"Hey, calm down, son. We all can hear you."
Son? Crap wouldn't that mean that's Irene and Desmond's Dad.
"We have decided to send Mr. Jenkins to the non-magus to continue our investigation. Following him will be a number of sorcerer to aid him closely with the investigation and to report back here immediately once anything has been found regarding the vampires. From there, we, the high council, will take the necessary actions and decisions if any new information is found. If there's nothing else, this meeting is adjourned until further notice. Dismiss."
Send to the non-magus world? Wait, doesn't that mean they don't know my identity yet?
I immediately my head towards headmaster Adhira to find out what was going on, only to be met with his finger placed on his lips followed by a mischievous wink.
