"...and that concludes my report for what I had found through my investigation."
As Gerald concluded his mission, Irene and the headmaster were going through the series of photos that came along with the report.
"...what is this?" Irene muttered softly as she picked up one of the photos that showed an image of the decapitated man in the fountain. The remaining corpse was found in the nearby bush with a chunk of its flesh bitten and spat out.
My stomach churned when I caught a glimpse of it as Irene was placing it down.
"... You're telling me that the inhabitants of Mundi have been hunted down like a game, and this is what happens to them afterwards?" Irene asked as she placed both of her hands together, trying to stop them from trembling.
Her eyes started tearing up a little as her voice trembled while she spoke. It must have been too much for her.
However, I didn't feel anything from the picture, which is strange since I normally get nauseous after looking at gory things.
"This is not done by the vampires... The slash marks here are more brutal...almost as if the head was ripped off with brute strength. It seems as if something only a Beast will do."
"!"
"What's wrong, Red?" Gerald asked as he caught a glimpse of me jolting.
I assured him it was nothing and continued pondering.
It couldn't be such a clichéd event, right? Given all the clues here. A violent beast that can rip a human man's head off, with parts of the human flesh eaten and gone. Conveniently at the same time when a vampire crisis is happening.
It could only be a ____
"Lycanthropy."
"What's that?" I asked Ryong.
[Werewolf.]
"I f*cking knew it."
As the headmaster is explaining to Gerald and Irene what a werewolf is, I stare out into the window.
A half beast, half human, huh?
The conversation about the beast with human body parts reminded me of Sab, Trek, and Luck. It has been a long time since I have seen them. I still remember what Luck said before I left.
"Promised me, you would bring more delicious food over!"
Hmm, maybe I'll get one of the days to check up on them since it has been a while.

Speaking of which, Blue has been too quiet. I asked Ryong where she went, go, he said he wasn't sure. Even White behaved weirdly. Every time I summoned her out, she would always look exhausted. Because of this, the only thing that kept me accompanied was the egg Master Darius gave me.
Hais. Let's hope there are no more troubled times ahead.

[Blue's POV]
The day I invited Okuninushi-sama might be the proudest thing I have done besides serving my master.
I can't believe I managed to create a portal that would allow a deity to pass through it. As his graciousness stepped through the portal, I lowered my head and greeted him,
"Welcome to my Master's humble land, your graciousness."
As he stepped out of the portal, I could see a figure inspecting my portal station with great interest as he examined it from head to toe.
"This is fairly interesting. There are traces of divinity power applied here... used for protection?"
As expected of the God of Protection magic, to be able to deduce the type of blessings at one glance.
As Okuninushi-sama walked around, inspecting the portal before realizing I was still bowing.
"My apologies, at ease."
"Thank you, your graciousness."
Raising my head, I faced the direction where Okuninushi-sama was and smiled.
Okuninushi-sama had the appearance of a handsome young Japanese man who had his black hair tied up in Chonmage at the two sides of his head. He stood there wearing a traditional Kimono, and standing over his shoulder is a rabbit, chewing viciously on a carrot.
He grabbed the rabbit and placed it down before speaking to it.
"Now, Inaba, behave yourself. This is not your house."
The rabbit nods its head before running off to explore. As the rabbit took off, I thought to myself, 'It should be no issue, right?'
I inwardly sighed, trying not to think too much since I have a lot of things on my mind.
Okuninushi-sama turned his gaze toward me before announcing,
"Now, shall we?"
The morning hours passed quickly as I introduced the various land and landmarks to the god.
Okuninushi-sama was pretty thorough with the inspection of the land, checking the condition of the plant and water as well as the surrounding areas around it.
There were a couple of terrains that were good to build a defense tower as you would be able to view the entire area there.
**
Here's a rough layout of the area.
Lake <--- Forest <-- Portal Station --> Forest --> Cave
From the north of Portal Station: Forest --> Waterfall.
From the south of the Portal Station: Forest --> Open Grasspatch.
**
Though that's generally what I have seen from the highest terrain. Although I have predicted the world to be big. I didn't expect it to be this big. Which meant there was going to be more work needed to do.
Okuninushi-sama and I decided to walk along the west side toward the lake, and while walking, he asked,
"Are there any questions for me?"
From there, it was time. I have been waiting for those questions. From there, I laid down some rough ideas for my plans and asked him for his insight.
As he explained, I took notes and advice given by the god and hastily gave my fair share of thoughts on some of my ideas as well. In the end, I got valuable data on how to proceed next.
"Given how you would proceed on, this would even be the next Izumo if you have done it right."
"Yes. I can already envision a small portion of it."
"This would be a perfect place to start a city. But there is something still missing here."
"People," I answered. I knew what the problem was. There was no way one could have a kingdom that doesn't have people living in it. I knew that was the problem from the start. I don't know how am I going to build a kingdom when there's no one to help to even build a toilet.
As I escort Okuninushi-sama back to the portal. I thanked him for his wisdom and gave him a basket of the fresh apples that were plucked from the trees, along with one extra basket for Uzume-sama for her help.
"Oh, I see, It was Uzume-sama's magic that reinforced it. Anyways, thank you for introducing your world to me. Inaba! Time to go!"
Appearing from one of the trees was the white rabbit previously, and behind it was Slav___ I mean White, as well. You could see from White's head. There were bumps and bruised all over it, while the snake slithered towards me and hid from the rabbit.
... what the hell happened.
And with that, Okuninushi-no-Kami went back to the Heavenly realm, while I have to be by myself thinking, is whatever I'm doing pointless?
I continued my normal routine and checked on Master regularly to see what he was up to. Then, I came across the discovery of a werewolf.
- [ Werewolf]
- I f*cking knew it.
Master and my creator were both discussing the beast that terrorized the humans back on Earth.
Though generally it doesn't interest me at all. Until I head some specific words when the headmaster is trying to explain what a werewolf is.
...Had half man, half-wolf body...
- ...great strength...
...a Beast with humanoid features....
Eureka. I got it. I found myself some citizens and a couple of new slaves. I immediately got up and ran to the portal station and activated the portal station to another world once again.
Stepping out was a grasspatch field grass. and further ahead was a Forest densed area. I immediately summoned White and sat on her head, asking her to slithered her way into the forest.
As she travels there 30km/h, we soon came to a stop when I notice a village with several huts built. And among there were different creatures living together.
As with the appearance of a Big snakes, it terrorized the people there as thr children and women starts to scream in horror, where one of the people there activated an alarm. Soon, multiple humanoid creatures grabbed spears and Shields, along with swords and bows all when into position against White.
Appearing out from the biggest hut were three people. A human girl, and 2 humanoid features, one tall and one short.
There's my Slave #2, #3 and #4.
