Anon had saved quite a lot of money and decided a better use of his time. He didn't quit. But he talked with his boss and decided to take a three month vacation.

What would he doing these three months? Training!

Anon had a goal he thought was impossible. Ever since being given this opportunity and meeting his 'protagonist halo' conditions. He had promised himself he would push himself to the limit. How was he doing so living a normal life? No! He had to 'debut'.

He was going to become a hero. Or a villain. Or a anti-hero. He didn't care. He just knew he had to do something.

Five years... While it wasn't a lot of time. It was enough time for him to understand the limits of his axiom state. He found something a little interesting.

He could innately feel his spiritual energy reserves and increase his skill. During these years he had transformed many times. But now his spiritual energy was almost completely exhausted.

Imagine his capacity being at 100% when he defeated that weird creature by absorbing it through his declaration.

Every time he transformed. It used 1%! But he payed quite a bit of attention to a very bizarre detail. Even when he was already in his axiom state. Transforming back into his normal self still used 1%!

What did this mean? It meant that he could get 'stuck' in his axiom state! Theoretically.

Right now his spiritual energy was at 7%. He hadn't had any supernatural encounter or found weak points in reality. He had wanted to abuse his destroyed apartment. But when he went to check it out. The military had put security check-points everywhere. They told the public some sort of contaminant was in the area.

Anon thought this was a little weird and wanted to check using his axiom state. But then he thought messing with the government without a plan was a stupid action. Anon was able to use a fraction of a percentage when transforming if he stressed his mind to the limit. But the amount of times he could transform were limited without 'spiritual energy'.

He assumed they had some tech that let them know something was up.

Anon's three month vacation started and he transformed into his axiom state and flew out of the city. He found a forest and landed on the ground. He casually walked through the trees and foliage as if it wasn't there. He was like a phantom.

Anon tried to transform back into his base form. But he couldn't!

"Interesting!"

He took to the skies- Well, he tried to. He fell on his face.

"It seems that the abilities require spiritual energy..."

He started to walk as he thought. But he tripped on a branch and fell into a tree.

"Even being able to phase through matter doesn't work. But I am unable to transform back into my regular self."

Anon sat on the ground and focused on his sea of consciousness. His hourglass was still hidden. But that wasn't what he was paying attention to. He checked his Mask of Truth and found it was dim.

Even the space in his soul was inaccessible.

Anon thought about his hourglass and his timeless declaration.

"A perpetual motion machine. If I can understand the principle behind how it works. Perhaps I can create a spiritual energy generator!"

Anon meditated for five days...

The five years he had lived a stable life. He had failed to unlock another seal. But now being away from society with nothing but his thoughts and the relaxation of meditating.

Another seal broke!

'True Vision'

Anon opened his eyes and within them was a new form of clarity. Everything looked different. More vibrant. More crisp and clear. He felt as if his whole life he had been playing a video on 360 resolution. But now he was seeing things in 4k! But this ability wasn't simply at all.

Anon had meticulously designed his seals and the supernatural powers to complement themselves. Basically, unlocking one benefited the others. This ability mainly affected comprehension.

It was as if his IQ was multiplied in an instant.

Anon then realized he had done a foolish action.

"I'm an idiot!"

"Why focus so hard on understanding my timeless declaration? I have 'Concentration'!"

In an instant. It was as if a bomb exploded in his soul and he felt it! His concentration was able to recover his mind, body, and spirit. Now he was passively generating spiritual energy. Even if he figured this out beforehand. The 'Concentration' rate of recovery probably wasn't enough to sustain his axiom state.

But now. It had been upgraded by consequence of his other seal being opened.

But Anon controlled his 'Concentration' and didn't allow it to recover his spiritual energy at all. He kept his capacity at 0%! Why? He felt that the more he understood this state. The stronger he would become. He also felt that mediating in it was far more time efficient!

But in that brief instance where he recovered a bit of spiritual energy. His body started to glitch and he started to switch between base and axiom many times in an instant.

It was like a flickering light.

In his base form. He was covered in sweat.

It seems that staying in this form for days through an exploit was actually quite taxing on his real body. But he thought that they were both separate states? How could they bleed into one another like this?

Anon then thought about his declaration and his timeless state.

He was gasping for air even in his axiom state. He had to mentally fight his instinct of 'Concentration'. It was trying to recover his spirit. He wouldn't allow himself to transform back into his normal state! Why?

He had a training plan!

He felt as if he was going to die from merely the backlash of five days. But Anon knew that since he had walked down this path. He needed to give it his all.

Soon the pain passed and the flickering light seemingly went out. But he knew he was still in his axiom state thanks to his clothing and mask.

"It is a good thing I am training in this way. If I didn't go on this 'vacation'. I might have remained confused and thought that I needed weak points in reality to 'recharge' my spiritual energy."

"Now not only do I become more efficient in this state. But I can power myself!"

This aligned with the goals of Anon. He didn't want temporary power. He wanted permanent power!
