Chapter 30: Human Translator

Chapter 30: Human Translator

Anon then thought about his 'anima ward'.

"I don't know much about the mystery surrounding these soul relics..."

"But I am still able to control my animaxiom."

"What if I try to scan the brain using animaxiom directly?"

Anon walked towards the collapsed person that had blinded him earlier. He then put his hand on the back of their head as he covered their entire body in animaxiom.

He then surrounded their brain in animaxiom!

"Come on! Work!"

Anon could see within his mind a brain. But it was like trying to read someone's mind based on the state of their brain. He could 'feel' the neurons and the firing of the synapses.

But the information collected was completely useless! It was like trying to understand a computer without a interface with only having access to the one and off state.

It was impossible for the current Anon!

"Failure..." Anon gasped. When had he ever failed before? He was thoroughly shocked...

The person he had attempted to scan was foaming at the mouth. They were completely damaged mentally.

Anon allowed the animaxiom in his body to go haywire as he exploded. He then went back in time before destroying their brain. He wanted to try a few other methods.

"The main problem I have is a lack of of being able to interact with soul..."

Anon tried to use anima ward externally. But there was no response.

"Who designed these soul relics! I clearly am lacking a..."

"Wait..."

"My 'true vision'!"

Anon had thought that he would need to unlock his fifth seal 'divine sense'. But he remembered his comprehension was completely boosted from his true vision.

"Making sense of the neurons..."

"Even with 'true vision'. It is a bit too complex..."

"But what if I stimulate their brains with animaxiom?"

Anon had a plan. He would target the visual and language centers of the brain. He would also target his brain at the same time. This theoretically could work!

Basically, he would think about concepts and monitor the changes in his brain using animaxiom. He would at the same time trigger these same areas of the brain for the two paralyzed people.

Anon arranged the paralyzed grave robbers in a meditative posture. They sat in a triangle, holding hands.

A aura of energy started to cover all three of them. In the center of this 'triangle' was a layered dust mechanism. Anon had used animaxiom to arrange a database using dirt.

It was like a layered crystal and could hold a ton of information!

Anon then focused on a word:

"Tree."

Soon the paralyzed grave robbers subconsciously said the word 'tree'.

"It works!" While Anon couldn't directly look into their minds. By stimulating all three brains in the same area and saying a word, then injecting their minds with a image and concept related to that word.

He could get an 'ouput' from his 'input'.

He had essentially created a human translator! But he lacked a written system from this method.

Anon started to systematically go through all the words he knew. But he found that the language they spoke wasn't very complicated and they didn't have words for certain concepts.

After spending a few hours and going through thousands of words.

Anon could roughly understand them! But he wasn't satisfied.

A few days passed and they had died! Anon had been learning nonstop by comparing his experiences with theirs. But Anon had forgotten that humans need rest, sleep, water, and food.

The endless stimulation killed them!

"Deoxyribonucleic..."

There was no response.

"Deoxyribonucleic!?"

It was then that Anon realized...

They were dead!

"Oops..."

Anon thought about taking their clothes to better integrate into society. But he didn't feel like wearing such low quality clothing.

Anon grabbed both of their bodies and looked at his grave. He stuffed both of them in the coffin and buried them.

He then bowed towards the grave.

"Thanks for the lesson!"

Anon decided to explore the world now that he knew the language. There were still many things he didn't know about this world. But he looked forward to exploring it.

"Now that I think about it. That guy that took away my senses temporarily seemed to have super powers! This world is already more interesting then that last one..."

"I should fit right in!"

Anon wandered the wilderness for a few days. Soon he found a village. His clothes were impeccable! He had formed the habit of keeping an extremely thin layer of animaxiom over his body at all times.

This kept his skin and clothing clean. He didn't need to shower as any external dirt or dust wouldn't accumulate on him. Also all internal filth had been expelled. He didn't sweat or have a body odor due to his 'deification' process.

He could use it as he generated it. So it hardly used any of the reserves in his body. Not to mention he had a million points stored in his body now.

This expense was trivial.

Anon saw some words on the sign at the entrance of the village. It was walled off, but there were no guards at the entrance. Anon had learned how to speak the language. But he had no idea how to read it.

He also had a bit of a 'accent' due to the weird nature in which he taught himself.

"The smart thing to do would be remain low-key..."

Anon looked in his storage space and realized he was both poor and homeless! But that wasn't what was important. He looked rich! It was a rarity to bathe and be as 'clean' as he was.

He looked like a noble!

As Anon walked the streets. Children pointed at him and the housewives whispered to themselves thinking some bigshot had decided to visit their small village.

Anon decided to put on a show. He had indeed gotten good at showmanship. His few months training and performing at the circus as a magician made him quite good at entertaining people.

He hadn't brought any props with him this time.

But he started to act like a mime. He then took a step on the air and formed a step made of animaxiom. This energy was normally invisible.

He started to walk on air as a crowd gathered around him. These people didn't have other means of entertainment. They were also unfamiliar with the concept of 'tipping' a performer.

Anon wasn't trying to attract these people. He was keeping an eye out for those who looked like they had wealth.

Anon slammed the ground and used his methods he had used to build his home. It was like he was some sort of earth bender as cubes were dug in the ground and then floated up. He kicked these and sent them flying!

"Woooaaahh!" The children were awed.

Anon then heard something interesting.

"Is he a potentia born?"

"Potentia?" Anon had learned thousands of words from his experiment. But this was the first time he had heard the word 'potentia'.

Anon bowed and said:

"That is all for the day. Thanks everyone!"

The crowd didn't disperse. They wanted to see more!

"Alright. Alright. I'll show you one more trick."

Anon vanished! He didn't turn invisible...

He had teleported! It was only a few meters... But this shocked the crowd completely. Anon then appeared right beside the person he heard mention 'potentia'.

He put his hands on their shoulders.

"Hello. I am Anon."
