Axiom was looking around.
"How interesting..."
Axiom felt that this space was rather unique. He felt a pressure like never before. No mortal had ever been able to survive in the cradle, let alone enter it before.
Time was silent. It started to teleport away at a speed quite incredible. But every time it ran into Axiom.
"Going somewhere?"
Axiom was growing more comfortable with his state. While his power seemed illusory and lacked a true foundation. He felt omnipotent.
Axiom's state started to glitch and he started to look like a monster. He grasped the concept that was Time and watched it deperately struggle.
"You wanted to consume me right? How about I consume you!"
Time was consumed and Axiom felt as if he was going to explode. But after a long time. He felt that mysterious rule and energy he gained vanished!
Time revived in the cradle.
"You can not destroy concepts!"
Axiom transformed into the form of a human. Time started to enlarge. It looked as if Axiom was fighting a planet. But Axiom was starting to get interested.
"I have always wanted to truly study time..."
Axiom waved his hands and Time was transformed into millions of parts. Time felt something was wrong. There should be a limit to a mortals power. Why was this mortal like a ruler of everything?
It was as if Axiom had no limits! Even the restrictions of concepts had no effect on him. He was even able to follow Time back through time to the cradle and the beginning of all.
This man was dangerous!
Time was frozen in a paralyzed state as Axiom looked through their memories.
"I see. So that is why you cannot truly die..."
"Becoming a concept... that would be quite boring."
Axiom felt that this space he was in. The so called 'cradle' where the true bodies of concepts are born. He felt it could actually support his mind! It was a lot stronger then his base reality. This gave him some inspiration.
Axiom erased all traces of himself from the concepts mind and then vanished.
He had already studied 'infinity'. Now he wished to study every concept. Axiom felt as if he had infinite potential. But he was still limited. If you asked him to create a universe. He wouldn't be able to do it. Despite being able to ignore both time and death and the curses of concepts.
He still felt he wasn't at the peak. This made him interested in investing in an 'avatar' such as Anon.
Axiom remembered when he fought every concept at once. He became put into a passive position and was beaten to the point of losing consciousness. Despite being stronger then a concept. He still lost!
If it weren't for the infighting of the concepts. He probably would've been consumed!
Axiom looked at his hands.
"I am not going to become a concept."
Axiom observed the cradle for an unfathomably long time. He watched the process of the concepts being born. Just like how when he observed his hourglass getting born.
He learned how to make concepts! He would create relics so powerful that nothing could destroy them.
He wasn't idle during these long years. Time for concepts was a lot different then time for humans. But the cognition and perspective of Axiom was a bit stretched. He didn't consider a trillion years much time. So he didn't experience any fluctuations or boredom in his time observing these entities.
"The main issue I face now is the universe not being able to withstand my mind."
"This 'cradle' is inherently special and can support my mind. It seems my mind has reached the level of a concept."
"What if I create my own cradle?"
Axiom started to get some interesting ideas.
"Now that I understand time. I also have a basic understanding of the concepts and their place."
Axiom left the cradle and entered a space full of spatial turblence.
"It is time that I've created my own dimension..."
Axiom looked within Anon's reconstructed soul. There was a storage space within. This was something Anon had taught himself to make from his axiom state.
"If I stay in a universe for too long. It is doomed to be destroyed. I am like a cancer or a virus. It is inherently unhealthy for the universe to keep my presence."
Axiom held out his hand and Anon's soul appeared within his palm. It was about to get shattered from the spatial pressure of this void Axiom was in.
This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
Axiom easily shielded it.
"...'I' have always had three conditions to go all out."
"This is something only I can do."
"The mechanics will be interesting..."
"It can't be temporary power..."
Axiom knew that his soul could easily shatter. So he made Anon's soul indestructible. This feat was easy as he had observed the concepts grow up.
He had also personally experienced their attacks himself.
So creating something that could even withstand the stress of concepts wasn't that hard for the current him. Soon the soul was completely indestructible.
It could no longer get shattered.
The ten seals were still a part of the soul. But the axiom state was partially broken from the Mask of Truth getting destroyed.
Axiom created his own dimension that wasn't connected to anything. He also gave the soul an innate storage ability.
He had left his previous multiverse and the cradle. He was now in a space where he was the 'ruler'. Just like when he used to use his hourglass to manipulate soul fragments.
But his level of control now was on a completely different level.
"Now that the soul is indestructible."
"It is time to replace the heavenly treasures destroyed. But why limit 'myself' to two?"
"The main problem with the previous treasures was that they attracted other entities to the universe."
"Resolving this problem isn't too hard. I'll simply make them undetectable."
Axiom planned on making seven heavenly treasures!
But these wouldn't be heavenly treasures.
Instead. They would be called 'soul relics'. They would be completely bound to Anon's soul. In combination with his soul being indestructible. This was no longer going to be temporary power.
The first relic Axiom created had one main function. Axiom had even created his own form of supernatural energy called 'animaxiom'.
The first relic was called 'anima reservoir'. It had one main function. That was the storage of animaxiom. But what sort of form was this energy in? Was it a liquid? A solid? Where was it stored?
It was a type of soul energy. It was stored inside the soul. Due to the size of the soul. The capacity was limited. But you could look at it like points.
Anon's soul could hold 1,000 points of animaxiom at full capacity.
The second relic he created was called 'anima generator'. It had one main function. That was the generation of animaxiom. The rate at which Anon could recover animaxiom was dependent on the rules of the universe. The weaker a reality and the more supernatural. The faster it could generate itself.
It had no true source besides being part of the foundation of the soul. So it was almost creating energy from nothing. Anon had created a timeless declaration before even becoming Axiom. So a perpeptual motion machine wasn't too hard to create.
The third relic he created was called 'anima manipulator'. This had many functions. It allowed Anon to essentially manipulate the energy in his anima reservoir. It could be condensed into a form of attack or defense. It was highly flexible and there were many ways to use this relic.
The fourth relic he created was called 'anima ward'. This had one main function. That was a defense mechanism over the soul. While the soul of indestructible. This prevented other existences from being able to hijack or take over the soul. Imagine being immortal. But someone steals your body!
The fifth relic he created was called 'anima leap'. This one was quite complicated. It was a sort of like a time leap. But for the soul. Just like the hourglass's mechanism to go back in time. The function of this relic was similiar. It could allow the soul to go back in time. But it wasn't unlimited.
The sixth relic he created was called 'anima transmit'. It could allow Anon to displace physical matter. It was essentially a form of teleportation.
The seventh relic he created was called 'anima revive'. This could allow Anon to revive from the dead. There were a few restrictions however. There needed to be a trace of him left. If he needed to revive from a single drop of blood. The cost of animaxiom would be in the millions. While his starting capacity is only at a thousand.
1.) anima reservoir (storage)
2.) anima generator (generator)
3.) anima manipulator (aux)
4.) anima ward (soul guard)
5.) anima leap (time leap)
6.) anima transmit (teleport)
7.) anima revive (rise)
The animaxiom system was not tied to the seals at all. So 'concentration' while it could recover the body, spirit, and soul. It couldn't generate animaxiom.
Since it was Axiom that designed this power system. This meant that Anon wouldn't understand its full potential. It was sort of like giving a person four more arms. You can hardly write in the same quality with any hand that isn't dominant. These powers weren't behind a lock in reality.
Anon would need to learn how to 'walk'. In other words, he would need to figure out how to activate these powers himself.
Axiom wasn't done designing the soul yet. He had been inspired by Mask of Truth. He liked the concept of a transformation that is seperate from the original body.
He didn't make a soul relic for this transformation. He created a duel state soul. Basically, the souls could 'swap' position and this would also produce a physical change in reality.
It basically meant that Anon would have two souls. His original soul was white. His new soul black. The new soul lacked the seals. But it also had the soul relics as the original. They sort of bled into each other. So even without the new soul having the seals. The benefits could be partially retained.
Axiom naturally also had the 'timeless' declaration. But it wasn't as limited and inflexible as the previous one.
Just like with the declaration 'I am Axiom!'. This transformation was almost identical to Anon's 'axiom state'.
The first three seals out of ten had been unlocked already.
Axiom threw the soul outside of his dimension and watched it rush towards a direction. It had become unstoppable and indestructible.
It was operating off instinct. It couldn't even detect Axiom. Axiom manipulated a wormhole of time and had it go to a specific point.
----------------------------------------
Anon started to wave his hands back and forth as if he was controlling a thousand puppets. Each finger was a string and each one was deadly. He couldn't do this in real life. But in his sea of consciousness. He was the ruler!
Space was getting cut in his consciousness as the hourglass swayed. But it wasn't flexible and it lacked limbs. It could move back and forth. But it ended up taking a lot of hits.
The hourglass started to crack.
Anon's mask was also shattered.
"I've always wondered what would happen to my axiom state without an artifact."
"Let's us see..."
"Destroying a heavenly treasure is absolutely insane. Who would be so dumb to waste such a gift?"
Anon was glitching between base and axiom state like a character glitching through a wall in a game.
Anon started to laugh like a demon from hell.
"It's so beautiful!"
"Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful!"
"They say that a fool and his money are soon parted..."
"Do you take me for a fool?"
Anon was 'acting'. In truth. He felt despair. He didn't know if what he was doing was right. He felt as if he had put himself in a dead end.
The pain he felt was unimaginable.
The hourglass hit Anon with everything it had.
The hourglass shattered for the last time.
Anon died.
His body in reality collapsed to the ground completely. His spirt and sea of consciousness had been destroyed. He had made a gamble and he had lost.
Or so you would think.
Time seemed to stop as a wormhole appeared above his corpse. A soul came out of it and merged with his body. His hair turned black and his clothes changed.
Shortly afterwards...
Anon opened his eyes!
