Months have passed uneventful with Anya not making any amount of progress in understanding and wielding TE, with occasional trips with Samuel to the local public training fields and every now and then going to watch an elite level matches.
Most of the days Samuel was staying at the IRI to do some research with the Legendary research team, Anya had participated for the first few days, but soon grew bored of the constant senseless back and forth between the researchers about this and that, she made the choice to drop out. The close proximity to Giovanni who attentively kept popping in and out of the place was taxing her mentally.
Instead she had been focused on her own research and her hobby of creating clothes, the various dyes had noticeably improved her clothing options. The obstacle with making cloth for herself has been the shape of her body, she knew how to make different clothes for the Human body, even if her body was mostly humanoid, the clothes still need to be put on by herself with her sickle like cutters. Which led most of her clothes being pull up dresses as they did not require knots, buttons or any other dexterous acts, singular buttons and hooks she could do. Even now she was wearing one of her favorite indoor clothes, a top of a navy blue robe along with black loose pants fastened around her waist with a singular toggle button on the side to prevent them from falling down.
Faesol has been lazing around the house with occasional battling when Samuel had time off from work or the IRI. "I'm a Professor and I have things I have to do", was somehow the best answer Anya had gotten out of Samuel about his job and title, there really wasn't any single thing a proper professional Pokémon Professor did for living and Samuel was still figuring out the direction of his career.
During the summer, the people of Pallet have gotten more familiar with Anya and her weird mannerism, there were some people still, who were against a Pokémon walking around without a trainers supervision and have blamed her for everything bad that had happened in the past on her.
One day the local market stall ladies gave an earful to a grumpy war veteran for harassing Anya, she was quite surprised that they were defending her and practically adopted her to the group of housewives, claiming that Anya was one of them. Anya had blushed intensely and tried to vehemently deny being a housewife without success.

Being part of the 'housewife club' as she would call it, wasn't all bad as most of them did practice making clothes, knitting and patching. There was a pile of broken and worn clothing articles, that everyone could use as material. Anya was sceptical at first but had soon warmed up to them. What surprised Anya was that Delia, along with her child Ash, were visiting every now and then. Gossip and rumors were exchanged between the ladies and Anya was quietly listening them yammer on, she heard a lot of interesting things during the days. She even had a small group of admirers among the group, who were marveling at her sewing technique along being interested with many other things the ladies were referring as 'secrets'.
It took a while for Anya to warm up to the group but, in the end she actually liked spending time with some of them, they all had same-ish interests in clothing and listening to them go on and on about happenings were interesting. She even found out that Samuel Oak had a grandson named Gary Oak, which wasn't really anything new to her. She heard that the Lab for Professor Oak was going to be completed before the start of winter and there has been a discovery about a new nation on the mainland, behind the mountain range up north of Orre, which took Anya by surprise. They did not say the name of the new region, but they were saying that the diplomatic relations were starting with them. She was speculating that because Orange, Sevii, Hoenn, Orre and Sinnoh have already established connections between each other, the new place could be either Unova or Kalos as most others unconnected regions from the games were located on islands at least according to her memories, the problem was that there weren't any official maps released by the game company in her memories.
Gaining some like minded friends was doing wonders on Anya's mental well being, she found herself visiting the club more often, even if she really couldn't properly talk with others, she enjoyed listening to the laddies rambling on about mundane things.
