The way back to Pallet went uneventful, Samuel and Giovanni had talked the day after the deal was made and Anya was shopping for supplies at the local stores Faesol in tow.
She had found a nice collection of hand carved wooden buttons and some interesting dyes. Faesol was getting bored of following Anya around from one store to another and had soon decided to just laze around on a nearby bench, acting as a checkpoint for Anya to pass after each shop visit, showing her what she had found in each and every shop, no matter how small and insignificant it was.
Arriving back at home, Anya deposited the stuff she has been carrying around inside her room and soon headed out back to the yard, where she had set up her silk station as she had called it in one of her notes.
Samuel was tired from all the walking, they had decided to pick up their pace instead of camping around to arrive a bit earlier and was now lying on the sofa and Faesol joined him after a while.
Soon they both were snoring peacefully.
Few hours later Anya came back in, took a look at the sleeping pair and put a blanket on top of them. Anya went back out after a short snack break.
-------------------------------------------------
Anya was sitting outside on a makeshift blanket, meditating and trying to focus moving her type-energies around. There has been some progress on this front since her last battle against the Houndour and Growlithe. Latest was her ability to activate what she likes to call 'battle mode' at will. Flaring her defense matrix with Bug and Grass type-energies, this progress all stemmed from the tidbit of insight she had gained from Faesol about the Mercy Protect. On how every Pokémon was capable of learning to use Protect by accessing this passive version of it. Except herself as Faesol had stated when she was trying to use Confusion on her.
With a bit of poking around while trying to feel her internal type-energies, she had found out that there was an invisible and intangible framework in place covering her surfaces. She had found the place where the TE would be inserted to protect herself, to activate 'battle mode'.

She found the energy she was looking for by accident, she was experimenting around with Faesol who was providing her some Psychic Type-Energy, when she had the not so bright idea of connecting the energy with the framework, which caused the Mercy Protect to activate and drain all of her own internal energies to provide defense. It was just a moment during this she had felt the source and became aware of it, she fainted a moment later.
The next time she woke, she noticed that she still felt the source of her energy and could direct them to the Framework, with the help she gained from listening Faesol's explanations on how to mold aura to form an attack.
It took Anya a while to understand what Faesol was talking about, that by pushing the source energy into the framework which converted it to the proper TE of either Bug or Grass type.
Now she was trying to mold these energies into different attacks, the progress she had made had been considerably slowed down by the amount of energy actually had in store and her ability to manage it.
She did not have the experience to handle such an amount of energy at once. Normally a Pokémon slowly got more energy while growing up and battling, learning to use tiny amounts at a time with learning better control with the passage of time, but in Anya's case she already had a huge amount of energy and no experience in controlling it, she couldn't really mold it around as it was like using dynamite as a chisel to carve stone blocks into delicate sculptures.
The amount of raw power she had was astounding, it was what the Ninetales had felt back in the forest, where she had appeared to this world.
Sitting around without progress frustrated her immensely as she tried and tried to mold her TE to do something, anything.
Not seeing the signs of fatigue she was accumulating by continuously stressing and releasing her TE and soon passed out of sheer exhaustion.
