Terror Infinity Fan Fiction Idea

Recently I've begun to think about how else would I write a Terror Infinity Fan Fiction. One different than what I'm writing now due to past comments of plagiarism. Not that I ever plan to, but I was just curious. I actually think it would very hard, or near impossible to write a team going through missions without using or mentioning anything from the book like how some people get upset about. This is just a Fan Fiction, so I just never saw the point to make a 100% original story about Terror Infinity, a work that I'll never be paid for. A lot of people must agree with this because on this site we've seen many amazing works be born, but all too soon die without a word. I'm sure everyone here can name at least ten works here on RRL that were far better than Side B and were at the level you could sell as at least as a Ebook for some cash, but were dropped after 10-20 chapters while my work just keeps going. I've actually stopped reading new works on RRL because of all the disappointment, but I'm getting off track here.

Now, I've given it some thought and came to the conclusion you can't write a remotely similar Terror Infinity Fan Fiction without taking a lot from the original, or using nothing from the original. If you would chose to do the latter I go ahead and write a original work. Terror Infinity inspired a new genre in China called Infinity Series which is about being abducted and tested by God, unknown entity, Aliens, or mad scientist and being thrown into situations like in Terror Infinity where you gain points to power up with later. I mentioned this in a previous post. The above are my true beliefs, but here's the only exception to the rule. Add the system from Terror Infinity into a virtual reality game.

A mysterious game company that no one has ever heard of before to everyone's surprise... not only did they realize true immersion virtual reality, but already has a game coming out in the next six months ready to go. The console for the game was so advance and compact that experts suggest it was the equivalent of the PS4 as a fourth generation console, and so this company had already made virtual reality a reality a long time ago, but never told anyone about. A lot of people grew suspicious, but the demand for the game was so great such concerns were sweeped away. Our MC, boy or girl, is the only child of government official (Really works for CIA or MI6) who having concerns was against their child playing the game as it was so mysterious, but couldn't stop the MC as they had no proof.

The game is beyond realistic that it borders on being creepy according to the MC and there being no real information other than there being being fighting, which excites him. He logs in and awakens in white room where he's greeted by The Guide Jie who will help him during the tutorial. He goes over the world (I added the setting for Tower of God in my head so you can have worlds that are overpopulated with monsters like mutant bugs that number in the billions or higher, while also having normal worlds), but it's overseen by a God of sorts.

It's basically your regular game (I would use the system form Shura Wrath as its extreme, also having pain set at 100% increases XP gain by 25%. Also, highest level should be LV 999), there are stores where items can be bought and monsters will drop loot (Rank between J-A, a color, or whatever) There are Ancient, Modern, Sci-fi, and magic items in the game, Sci-fi will dominant at the early stages but as they don't have magic properties they will only be a burden at the end game. There are standard classes and races like Martial Artist and Vampire, and they upgrade if one's level reaches the requirement, or meet some other, but much harder requirement at a much lower level.

Example of vampire race: Rank 1, Rank 2, Rank 3, Rank 4, Rank 5, Rank 6 Vampire Baron, Rank 7 Vampire Count, Rank 8 Vampire Marquis, Rank 9 Vampire Prince, and Rank 10 Vampire King. Have high vitality and blood energy that multiples by 10 with each rank up. Completing a Open Mega Quest to kill the Evil Vampire King allows one player and one player only advance to Rank EX Vampire Emperor.

At the end of the tutorial Jie says what the ultimate goal of the game is "Evolution", and only that leaving the MC confused, but is warn that the game can be played for fun by all, yet those who will stand at the top are those who take extreme risk to gain power to break the game balance and the world itself.

The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.

The world works like a game, but monster won't stop chasing you till its tired and aren't so stupid to not attack those those hurting it even if someone else is doing greater damage. You can even mkae money in the game. The MC enjoys the game at first, stumbled onto a dangerous quest and is the first to unlock his constraint, and a system wide message like this goes out.

- FIRST PLAYER TO UNLOCK THE GENETIC CONSTRAINT.  PLAYER (MC) IS AWARDED () AND () (AND WHATEVER ELSE LIKE MONEY AND STUFF).

- Genetic Constraint information has been unlocked for all for all to view.

STAGE 1: Release Instincts from ancestors to increase combat ability. The potential of D tier and below Whole Enhancements, Genetic Mutation and Skills can be brought out to 100%, C tier 70%, B tier 40%, and A tier 20-30%.

STAGE 2: Gain absolute control of the body. The potential of C tier and below Whole Enhancements, Genetic Mutation and Skills can be brought out to 100%, B tier 70%, and A tier 50%.

STAGE 3: Gain absolute control of the brain. The potential of B tier and below Whole Enhancements, Genetic Mutation and Skills can be brought out to 100%, and A tier 70%.

STAGE 4: Genetic Manipulation. The potential of A tier and below Whole Enhancements, Genetic Mutation and Skills can be brought out to 100%.

STAGE 5: Energy Manipulation. Has been hypothesized that once this stage is reached, that person will reach the next stage of evolution and cease to be humna and will become something else entirely.

This message confuses most Players, but the MC later finds out the benefits of the unlocking the constraint as he fights off a group of PKers. All of a sudden his fighting ability has reached a new level even without the First Stage, and in the First Stage even groups of Players are not his match at the same level, and the pain that comes along with unlocking the constraint isn't reflected on his HP. He suspects that only a army of 100 could step on him at his current ability. There's also now a new stat and corresponding bar gauge that can't be increased with points from leveling up called Genetic Strength, shows genetic endurance and the gauge goes down when one enters Unlocked Mode, will automatically die regardless of HP if empty and is a extremely painful death, and is slow to recover and special and expensive potions a required as normal ones don't help. Then as more and more people unlock the constraint and reach higher levels a great divide between normal players having fun and the serious players is seen to all. People complain, but the company are reminded that from the start you could have fun, but the strongest would be those who overcome extreme danger.

Later on after 20 Players have unlocked the constraint information about Team Devil (Random Clones of the best Players, can only have 20 members at any time) and Team Celestial (The highest grade of NPC, limited to 20) is released and if they reach the ultimate goal of the game the game will end which upsets everyone, but defeating them rewards a lot.

Now the secret agenda behind it all. The game was a medium to advance humans to the next stage of evolution. The game helps normal humans evolve gradually so they don't suffer the recoil if they unlocked the constraint during a emergency. After a year of playing the game the MC gets into a accident and went into the First Stage to escape harm to his shock. He later finds out once he reaches the Fourth and Fifth Stages in real life he can recreate his game abilities in real life. He was skeptical at first, but realized he actually had all his combat knowledge and understanding of his abilities, so if they translate into reality... it's actually possible. At the end one of his rewards for completing the game was to recreate all his equipment into real life to reign as the new god on earth.
