Chapter 84
Beginning’s End 2

Theo’s Hideout
Nichola Rasputin was your typical one track mind scientist.
She cared little of her appearance or what people thought of her and focused solely on her work.
In reality, the previous statement was a bit inaccurate.
It wasn't that she didnt care of other people’s opinion, it was because she was terrified of other people. This fear stemmed from her many years in beef jerky form.
As such, she tend to wear her mummy attire whenever she met people she didn't know.
On the flip side, she would let herself go when she’s with people she trusted.
The problem was that when she does relax, she relaxed way too much.
At the moment, Nichola wore nothing but one of Theo’s shirt.
Due to her relatively petite stature, it was a bit large for Nichola.
As to the reason why she wore such a titillating outfit, this was because yesterday was her turn to receive Theo’s lust.
Upon waking up, Nichola just grabbed whatever clothing was nearby and went straight to her projects.
This might come as a surprise but Nichola literally begged to have her turns be reduced to once a week.
Apparently, Nichola’s bedtime experience with Theo were as follows: faint from pleasure, forced back into consciousness by pleasure, faint again. Rinse and repeat.
Nichola often begged for Theo for a break in the middle of their tussle.
And like man of culture, Theo ignored Nichola’s plea and devoured her without mercy
Normally, Juno would have vehemently volunteered to take Nichola’s place. Unfortunately for Nichola, Juno has become addicted to ‘recruiting’ criminals into their cause.
She would often go out hunting the moment she returned home from school.
As such, she would often be too exhausted to enjoy her usual hard core play.
Juno didn't do this daily though, but it was often enough to force Nichola to shoulder more lustful nights.
While Theo was merciless to Nichola in the sack, he was doting when his sexcalibur was out of mana.
He readily agreed to Nichola’s once a week proposal without a fuss.
At the moment, both Theo and Nichola were working separately within the hideout.
Despite being on separate floors, they were able to talk to each other via comms.
At the moment, Nichola was poking very big needles into an abnormally large human with equally abnormally large muscles. Said human was chained and bolted into the floor for obvious reasons.
And just for added safety, Nichola was surrounded by multiple armed guards and a couple of fully loaded tank droids.
There is no such thing as too much safety for one’s waifu.
Apparently, Nichola was hired by one of her regulars to make a disposable shock troop for storming heavily fortified locations.
From the look of it, things were proceeding as scheduled.
Theo on the other hand was located on the very far end of the massive yet still relatively empty hideout.
Why?
It was because Theo and his assistants were running a fair number of projects that could potentially blow up in their faces.
One of these projects was maintenance and improving the 20 meter long railgun.
Thanks to the ever growing workforce at his disposal, Theo was able to finish his plans for the railgun at a much faster rate than doing it alone..
At the moment, the railgun was on the surface level of the junkyard. It was housed in a massive turret that was disguised as a mountain of scrap metal.
It was powered by one of the 50 meter archon generators via a long power transmission cable.
Theo found this inefficient, thus was constructing another archon generator a few floors directly beneath the railgun turret.
Aside from that, Theo also made a few robots that matched Theo in height and dimension.
This was a contingency plan in case he would be suspected to be The Boss.
And last but not the least was the addition of the B-31 Assault Armor into his arsenal and training a few of his men to use it.
This narrative has been purloined without the author's approval. Report any appearances on Amazon.
The Assault Armor was a much larger version of the Scout Armor with built in weapons systems and a much thicker armor.
Calling it a light tank on legs would be accurate.
Unfortunately, it was not very maneuverable and was generally unwieldy.
It wasn't in the level of the Terminator Armor where it needed thrusters to have some semblance of agility, but was still quite rigid.
It was also quite bulky. Walking through a normal sized door was impossible when wearing the Assault Armor.
Nevertheless, it was a powerful weapon in urban combat
Theo bought a B-31 Assault Armor from the Lord of Vermilion, copied it, and began manufacturing it with a couple of improvements of his own.
It was about 4 generations behind the latest version, but that doesn't make it any less powerful.
His version of B-31 had the following:
Left shoulder weapon- automated RPG-7 turret
Right shoulder weapon- automated mortar turret that fired 120 mm mortars
Left hand- a metal tower shield with a large HF Blade sheathed at the backside
Right hand- M2 Browning Machine Gun
Fairly standard as far as Assault Armor armaments were concerned.
The thing that made Theo’s variants special was the steel casing that was used in the turrets and the tower shield.
They were made of ‘Steel Foam Armor’.
Apparently, the sponge-like structure of the steel makes it much stronger than regular steel armor at ⅓ of the weight.
Theo combined Steel Foam Armor with Plasteel, resulting in a much lighter and much sturdier armor.
Theo only had 10 Assault Armors on hand due to the additional manufacturing techniques applied on the armor.
All in all, Theo’s forces were sizing up into something very interesting.
While Theo was observing both the Railgun maintenance and the training of a few of his men with the B-31 Assault Armor, an angelic voice chimed in his comms.
“Hey Theo, can we talk?” said Nichola through the comms.
“Wazzup mai waifu.” replied Theo
“Er… can you not call me that? It makes my skin crawl”
“Why? I think it's a fairly accurate of our marital status.”
“I-I won't deny that. But the whole anime culture gives me the creeps. I mean, look at the whole Idol scene! It’s so weird!”
“Hahaha. Not a fan of idols myself.” replied Theo. “Anyways, what do you want to talk about?”
Nichola was silent for a couple of seconds. She was clearly gathering up some courage for what seems to be a very unnerving topic for her.
“Let’s make one thing clear. I love you and I trust you. I will go through hell if it means to be with you…. But why did you make a deal with the Ecclesiarchy?” asked Nichola with a hint of fear in her voice.
Her unease was understandable because she was one of the many heretics that was in the hit list of both the Ecclesiarchy Church and the Mosque.
Torture and brutal death was in her future if they got their hands on her.
This was the main reason why she entered a very dangerous deal with the HAA for protection.
“I have a couple of reasons for that. The first being they know who I am. And not just my public persona. They also know the whole ‘The Boss’ and my hobbies of killing criminals. I’m not sure if they know about the Terminator though.” replied Theo
“What?! How?!” asked Nichola in shock.
“I don't know. Apparently one of the people who knew my whole shtick spoke with Mother Superior Leticia. The Ecclesiarchy nun was able to extract all the info out of her without torture, magic or drugs. And my acquaintance was a master of words. No way she would have made a rookie mistake like letting something slip.”
“Mother Leticia…. Hmm…. this may be bad...”
Nichola went silent for a couple of seconds.
“An acquaintance of yours?” asked Theo.
“Not exactly. I make an effort to know Ecclesiarchy agents in the area so that I can prepare in advance. I know Mother Leticia through secondary information” replied Nichola
“And? Anything to share?”
“Yeah. Absolutely nothing.”
“Huh? What do you mean ‘absolutely nothing’?” asked the confused Theo
“That’s exactly what I mean. While I know that she’s a Mother Superior which is akin to a general in military terms, there is next to no information about her. Her combat record, her previous assignments, her training ground or pretty much anything prior to her coming to Vermilion City is a blank.” replied Nichola
“Well, she is fairly high up in the ladder. Secrecy kind of goes with the territory.” said Theo.
“I have trusted spies in both the church and the mosque. Due to their rivalry in pretty much everything, both of them have data on each other. Yet despite this, both have next to nothing on Mother Leticia. My insider in the mosque is particularly high up in the ranks, so it was quite shocking that she had nothing on Mother Leticia.”
Nichola’s words only added to Theo’s increasing fear of Mother Leticia.
Nothing was more terrifying than an enemy he had no info about.
“Then aiming the Railgun at the orphanage was the right decision…. *sigh* ” replied Theo in grimace.
“I know even the thought of killing innocent civilian doesn't sit well for you, but you might not have a choice in this case ” said Nichola in grim understanding
“Hold on a minute! You’re misunderstanding something here. I have no intention firing the railgun!”
“Then why bother?”
“Mostly for my peace of mind.”
“The Ecclesiarchy doesn't care about your piece of mind.”
“Once again, you’re misunderstanding here. The railgun is too powerful. It will probably vaporize the orphanage along with everything in a 1 kilometer radius. No way I’m firing that one. On the other hand, I may have implied on leveling the Ecclesiarchy convents with the purgatory bombs if they so much as look at you funny.. I used the Dionaea Incident as my ‘proof’ that I will kill anyone that dare crosses me. With this, I don't have to destroy the orphanage and still strike back if the need arises.”
“You should have said that first. Seriously, I thought you were going to do something stupid like actually trusting those religious nutjobs.”
“I don't trust anyone who can bare handedly rip a mutant’s jaw and shove it into his eye socket” said Theo as he recalled the first time he met Mother Leticia.
“I see. That’s good. So, do you have any other contingency plans?” asked Nichola
“Of course. Did you seriously think I gave those cybernetics to the orphans out of the goodness of my heart?” replied Theo
“For real?! You actually did that charity thing with spying on the Ecclesiarchy in mind?”
“Not exactly. I already planned on spreading my cybernetic listening devices via the orphans and eventually paying customers way before I met Mother Leticia. This event forced me to move up my timeline and give priority to Mother Leticia’s orphanage. All in all, its mostly going according to plan.”
“I must say, I’m impressed. I thought you were a dumbass that goes with whatever random whims that pop into your head, but who would have thought you’d be a man with a plan” said Nichola in an impressed manner.
“Hey, I take offense it that statement!”
“Hahahaha. Just consider it as a compliment.”
“Yeah yeah. Laugh it up. I’ll get back at you the moment we get to bed” said Theo
“Ugh! I-I may have stepped over the line. I apologize. Please forgive me.” replied Nichola
Despite the uncertainty of Miss Leticia and her Ecclesiarchy , the rest of Theo’s day was relative normal.
And as promised, he made Nichola pay for her transgression with a brutal cycle of pleasure.
