Chapter 142
Destroy Everything 10
-:-
The Following Day
Morning
A certain low cost apartment complex
Downtown, Vermilion City
It was calm and beautiful day.
The sky was as clear of any clouds and had the perfect shade of azure.
It was kind of hot, but such was the price of such a glorious day.
Under such a weather was the umbrella wielding Theo in his female form.
He sported a long sleeve sunday dress and a white leather jacket. Underneath these 2 was the the Z61 Scout Armor.
While it had the same protective ability as the standard Z49s, it was considerably less bulky and lightweight. Perfect for covert missions.
However, the Z61 he was using was a perfect replica of the ones used by the military. It was actually inferior to his highly modified Z49.
It also had its entire left arm removed so that the ample number of tricks hidden with his tungsten left arm won't rip it apart from within.
He also had a backpack that contained a decently sized fire bomb to cover his tracks.
Theo walked into the apartment and approached the reception desk.
“Hi there. I’m Tina Sprite, the one that called yesterday.” said Theo to the young receptionist.
The receptionist swallowed his spit at sight of Theo’s ample ‘assets’ and tried his best to act natural.
Was his female form really that attractive? Or was it because he had such big boobs?
Theo did make sure to coordinate his appearance to that of a friendly, energetic party girl.
He wasn't sure if it worked or not.
“H-hi. Nice to meet you. I’m Bob. You wanted to see a room, correct?” said the receptionist
“Yup. I know I’m a little early, but some stuff got canceled. I might as well do this now, right?”
“Ah. Yes. No problem. Please follow me.”
Theo followed Bob into the elevator and took it to the 15th floor. During the awkward elevator ride, Bob kept stealing glances at Theo
“Seriously, is this form really that pretty? I personally think it’s a passable 6/10…. hmm.... It’s definitely the boobs” thought Theo while pretending that he didn't notice.
Upon exiting, they went to the room 15-08.
The room had a very simple construction that was specifically made to cater to families.
From the door, there was the kitchen, a decently sized living room and a terrace on the left side. The right side was a continuous wall with 3 doors. These were the bathroom and 2 bedrooms respectively.
Despite being ‘low cost’, the apartment was definitely an impressive one.
The 2 went through each room while the receptionist went through his script.
Theo was particularly interested in the masters bedroom. It wasn't that big but it could easily fit a standard bed, a closet and a sizable computer hardware.
“Well, that’s all of it. How do you like it Miss Sprite?” asked Bob
Theo pointed his left arm at Bob and spoke in a commanding voice…
“Mandatum, Prohibere, Motus”
A spark of green lighting erupted from a small hole in his wrist and hit poor Bob in the face.
Hidden in his wrist was a small wand of paralysis. It was a bit inconvenient because it has only 1 use, but Theo was glad he brought it with him.
Bob went rigid and stood silently with a face filled with shock and horror.
“Don't be afraid Bob. That was just a paralysis spell. It will wear off in an hour. Naturally, I have no intention of harming you whatsoever. And don't you worry. This will be the last time we’ll ever meet.” said Theo after giving this poor bloke a small pat on the shoulder.
He made his way to the terrace and quickly climbed 2 floors down and 3 rooms to the right. His target was the terrace with an air conditioning system that was way too fancy for this apartment.
Theo used the thermal imaging on his right eye to scan the area before breaking into the room.
As Pani’s information has stated, there was no signs of life aside from the target who was inside the master's bedroom.
After making sure there were no hidden security stems in place, he took out an HF blade from his backpack and sliced a hole to open the terrace door without any noise.
As he walked around the house, he realized how underutilized it was. Aside from the mountain of garbage in the kitchen and the surprisingly clean bathroom, everything else had a small amount of cobwebs on them.
For now, Theo needed blunt object as a prop for his upcoming act.
One quick scan of the kitchen got him a never used rolling pin, which was to be expected given who was living in here.
With everything ready, he went to the masters bedroom and stealthy opened the door. He was greeted by a burst of cold air that reminded him of a cold truck used to transport meat.
If you discover this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.
He snuck into the room and stuck to the shadows.
His target was facing towards him, however the large number of monitors completely concealed Theo’s entrance.
Sitting in front of the monitors was an obese guy that was around Theo’s age. Despite his bulk, his hands was dancing around the multiple keyboards with ease.
This person was Christopher Alan Milken, the Penitence’s resident genius hacker, tech guy and probably the richest among the members. While he was indeed a son of a wealthy individual, Christopher made a massive fortune in the stock market which he invested into Colbert Sea Oil.
This was the main reason why the Colbert Sea Oil higher ups were more than willing to cover up the Penitence’s escapades.
“As you can see from the code and graphs, this virus that’s been doxxing us is a simple one off thing. However, everytime I make an antivirus, Lorne’s group just reuploads it. It’s a simple yet effective spam strategy.” said Christopher.
“Are we sure that its Lorne though?” asked a teenage girl over the speaker.
“Though we have no proof because of how good they are in covering their tracks, I doubt anyone aside from him has this much manpower to throw around and is directly in conflict against us. But I have to wonder, why does he keep doing this? Sure we’re getting destroyed in social media, but the internet mobs are as much of a threat as a child throwing a tantrum. If these idiots does try something stupid, we have security personnel that can literally kill them. Using the internet mobs as a weapon against the powerful is worthless. We should know since we use those sheeps all the time.”
“I think Theodore is after something else” replied a young man with a suave voice.
“What do you mean Duke?” asked another girl who had a deep voice.
“If my read on Theodore is correct, I think he’s using the internet mob for something else. As Christopher stated, using them as a weapon is worthless but they are effective signal boosters to reach his real target audience: The Criminals.” said Duke
“Hold on… don't tell me he’s trying to rile up the scums into attacking us?!” exclaimed another guy.
“Exactly. We have made a fair bit of enemies in the short time our group has existed. Our group also have wealthy members. We are perfect targets for the greed minded criminals”
“*cough* *cough* Then we have to be careful. We need to go into hiding until this blows over. *cough* *cough*” said a sickly guy. “I’m actually worried about you Christopher. Are you sure you don't want to move back to your parent’s estate? Their security detail is top notch. *cough*”
“Don't get your panties in a bunch Fred. Though I’m here in my secret hideout, I’m not alone. I have security personnels just across the street. They have birds eye view of everything and can shoot into my room if need be.” replied Christopher. “Speaking of worry, that coughing better not be the result of you smoking weed again Fred. The next time you collapse, I’ll sit on your face and fart on it before I send you to the hospital!”
Laughter spreaded throughout the Penitence group, not knowing that one of them was about to die.
Fun Fact: Christopher’s security was currently being slaughtered to the last man by Theo’s forces under Juno’s supervision.
Though Juno couldn't take to the field because of her tendency to make a big mess of things, there were quite a number of Reformants that had affinity with Miss Samantha’s Foxhound gun fighting style AKA the sneaky style.
Even without Juno’s help, they’ll do their job well enough.
Anyways, time to start the show.
Theo stuck to the wall and moved unseen behind Christopher.
When inside a dark area, it was extremely hard for someone who has been staring at something bright to notice his surroundings. This was because the rods cells within a person’s eyes takes a bit before it can get used to the sudden change in brightness.
However, this was not the case for video cameras. While the quality of the image was very much crap, it was possible for video cameras to spot a moving object within the darkness.
And because of this, Christopher’s chatmates immediately saw Theo.
“Hey Christopher, who’s that behind you?” asked one of the girls with a hint of alarm in her voice
“Bitch please, if you’re going to try and scare me, you have to do better than that.” replied Christopher.
“No seriously! Someone is behind you!” said Duke
“Huh? What are you guys talking about?”
Christopher turned around and saw the FemTheo behind him. The man’s eyes immediately went to Theo’s large bazookas for some reason.
“Hi there~” said Theo in a friendly and energetic manner.
“H-hi. Who-” replied the blushing Christopher, but was cut off when Theo’s right fist smashed into his face.
Christopher fell off his chair and squirmed in agony on the floor.
Theo took out a USB and shoved inserted it into Christopher’s rig. It was a simple program made by his men that automatically a copy of everything in the computer to spy drone lurking nearby.
Naturally, it was also recording the video feed.
With that out of the way, Theo used his newly acquired rolling pin to teach Christopher the meaning of pain.
He aimed mostly for the legs and a bit of the arms in order to inflict maximum pain with minimum lethality.
He didnt want to kill Christopher…. At least not yet.
His little chubby friend had a role to play before he can finally take a break.
“Stop! Please! It hurts! I’ll do whatever you want!” pleaded Christopher after nearly 30 seconds of continuous beating.
“Good to hear! Please return to your seat.” replied Theo in a friendly manner ill befitting the situation.
“Who are you and what do you want?” asked the person called Duke through the internet.
“Oh right. Introductions. My name is Tina Sprite. Naturally, that’s a fake name. I’m sure none of you cares, but my family is one of the many victims of your vigilante escapades. Members of Penitence, it is nice to meet finally you”
The members of the Penitence flinched at Theo’s script.
While this group of well intentioned extremists knew in the back of their mind that their efforts were harming people, they have never actually faced the aftermath of their actions.
This was the perfect script to mess with idealists.
“So? What do you want?” asked Duke.
Though their leader was doing his best to look calm, it was clear to Theo that he was shaken.
“First and foremost. Mr. Christopher Alan Milken, kindly sell all of your stocks from Colbert Sea Oil. And don't try anything stupid like lying to me. My client knows that your current shares are worth at least 10% of the company.” said Juno
“Wait! Can't we-” said Christopher before he screamed in pain as a rolling pin bashed his leg.
“Pretty please?” asked Theo
“Christopher! Just do it!” said Duke.
Though extremely reluctant, Christopher did as he was told.
“You said that you have a client. I’ll give you double whatever this person is paying you if you tell us who it is.” said Duke
“Hahaha. I like how you think that I’m doing this for money. Getting paid is just a bonus. What I really want is vengeance.” replied Theo
“Why? If your family has gotten hurt from our actions, then it means that he is doing something against the law.”
“True, but my father is just a henchman. He was a nobody. The money he earned from that job is the only thing keeping my pregnant mother alive. Do you have any idea how much it takes to keep an ICU patient alive? I sold everything, even my own body, just to extended her life… but it was inevitable that I failed. So yeah… not only did you kill my father, you also killed my mother and my future younger brother. I think I am justified to be a tad angry.”
Once again, the members of the Penitence flinched.
While the story is 100% false, it hit exactly the right spots to inflict maximum guilt. Killing an unborn child was particularly painful to goodie two shoes.
“I… I… I’m sorry….” said one of the girls who was about to break into tears.
A tense silence filled the air.
It was only interrupted with a ping that signified Christopher has finished selling all of his stocks.
“Oh good. We’re done. Mr. Christopher, I assume you have a bluetooth webcam right? Get it and turn it on.” replied Theo
Christopher limped around the room and did as he was told.
Amazing how a sob story can manipulate others so well.
Theo led Christopher into the living room and had him stand in the middle of it with his back towards the terrace.
He secured the webcam onto Christopher’s clothing.
“Hey! What are you planning?!” asked Duke who’s voice could be heard from the master’s bedroom.
Theo stepped back and and pointed his left hand at the confused Christopher.
“Percutiens, Impetu, Dis”
A shockwave propagated from a wand hidden in Theo’s hand.
It blasted Christopher off his feet, sent him over the terrace and fell 13 floors before turning into a pool of blood on the pavement.
Thanks to the webcam, the Penitence saw every horrifying second of it.
Theo opened his backpack, set the timer for the firebomb and pulled the fire alarm to evacuate the residence.
He returned to the master bedroom and retrieved his USB before giving a parting words to his soon to be dead friends
“This is just the beginning my friends. I am not the only one you have slighted. Just like how you have destroyed everything we had, we will destroy everything you hold dear. Ciao~!”
