Chapter 6

I went back to the intersection and chose the other path as I don't think I'll be able to get past the spiders. Now that I agitated them so much.

There were no more surprises waiting for me and I finally got to a part of the tunnel that got marks. I followed them up and not much time later I found myself in front of the Dungeon door.

The moment I reached to knock on it. It opened revealing the blue sky.

I went past the guards as they once again closed the door.

The hustle of the few people that were shopping here continued. Some of them were staring right at me.

I was walking down the road when I saw my reflection from the puddle of water.

A bandaged face looked back right at me.

I had no time to spare I went ahead with my plan.

" Players, I have some things to trade!" I started to shout.

" Is there anyone willing to trade with me? Someone out here recruiting for a guild?" I moved through the streets shouting for help and somehow trying to lure players out. But nothing happened.

" I'll do anything just please someone message me!"

All I got were concerned looks from the people all around me. They were getting farther away from me. I went after one of the groups.

" I'll give you real cash If you mail me!"

But after a few steps I felt my vision blurring. The last thing I noticed was a wooden pole thrown next to me.

I was back at the hospital. Same room and everything except this time I was strapped to the bed.

I tried to weasel out of the binds of leather belts but nothing seemed to work. I remained where I was staring at the ceiling waiting for something, anything to happen.

It's safe to say I'm stuck here now. All alone in another world.

I watched intensely as the sunlight was moving on the floor. From behind the door footsteps were heard, but each time they were getting closer they'll just pass by and return to silence.

But a bunch of footsteps came at last and stopped right in front of the door.

I didn't have to wait for too long before a person walked in. It was the nurse she brought with herself a chair that she put right beside my bed.

She sat on it and stared at me. We entered a kind of staring contest as I stared back.

But she broke It after a while.

" Are you going to tell me what you did? Or do you not know?!"

" I don't." I looked at her and shrugged my shoulders.

She grasped her head with one hand while still staring at me. " This'll be something. Okay so you don't remember what you did is that correct?"

"No" I smiled at her." I do know now. I went out of the Dungeon distressed and scared while calling out for help. Isn't that correct? And the last thing I remember was someone attacked me." She crossed her arms and leaned back on the chair.

She thought for a while before leaning forward and saying." Do you want to know what the eyewitnesses have to say about it."

" Yes please, go ahead."

" They've said you were rumbling some gibberish about players while chasing after people. Hell, some even said you've got possessed by some kind of spirit Dungeon monster. And that we should drown you or burn you on a stake."

I still kept my smile on." I'm so sorry for all the inconveniences I made. I'll be sure to bring antidote next time, so this won't happen again."

She took out some kind of pen and paper before writing something down. Probably my testimony or maybe my diagnosis.

After doing so she sat up took her chair and promptly left. Behind the door were a couple of people some with weapons.

The doors were shut and I was left alone again. I dozed off while watching the moving sunlight.

Not long after I've got the same visit. The nurse came and dropped off my gear on the windowsill. She checked my wounds they were all good as the system displayed. After discovering everything is all right, she took off the belts.

She asked me some more questions. If it was my first time in the Dungeon and such. I answered all of them to get this over quicker.

After she went out, I geared myself up. The chainmail was now clean without any signs of battle other than the small dents in some places.

I stepped out the door where a group of people were gathered. There seemed to be some people from the group I chased and two guards. The nurse was speaking with them.

I went away under their gazes. No one tried to say anything to me or stop me.

The moment I got out I took a breath of fresh air. The sun had settled in the sky behind the clouds. It was moving towards finally ending this day.

I should get to know where I am in this world. Or if it's the game world that I know. I also have some loot from the Dungeon.

I headed for the Adventurers guild. On the way there were some people that gazed at me and whispered something to the people around them.

I helped myself there with that little stunt of mine.

When I finally got inside the Adventurers guild all the people were bunched up around one table. The beers that everyone had were left alone on the tables.
