A sigh was heard from one room before a thud and a moan was heard.
If someone came into the room, they would be greeted with a sight of a bandaged man sitting on the floor next to a bed. Where a scantily clad woman was laying while clutching her head.
" You shouldn't have kicked me off the bed and this wouldn't have happened." I said as I got up from the floor.
It wasn't the worst sleep that I had, but it wasn't ideal considering there is a bed to lay on.
" Ok, it doesn't matter. I have a question. Do you have any other clothes than this?"
" I'd live in the red district and sleep with men to get money and a roof over my head."
" Well, you don't have to do that anymore."
I said and we both bathed separately. After that I equipped my armour back on, paid for the stay and our breakfast. We were off to a new day.
People were going about with some worry written on their faces as they were expecting a attack at any minute, but there is no need to worry because the hive only attacks after the sun is down. After all they are the strongest then.
First off, we went to a few blacksmith and carpenter shops. But they were of no use. We were getting tired from all the searching. Even her knowledge of the town's shops was of no use in finding someone who could repair the longbow.
After a while we found ourselves in a faraway place from the central plaza. It looked to be a slum district and there we found a sign on the ground pointing to a blacksmith.
When we got to the place, it was a simple stone house with a smoking chimney. The heavy smell of burning wood and coal was all around.
The only thing that was out of place was a screaming that was coming from inside the house.
" You had no customers the past week! What are you still doing here! You want us to starve!?"
When we came through the door a couple of shelves were the only thing that greeted us. They had all kinds of items displayed there each showing its best qualities. We came to the counter, but there was no one there. We tried knocking on the counter, but It was no use. The scream that was coming from the doors that were behind the counter drowned out our knocking.
I went behind the counter and opened the door to reveal a bearded man with bushy eyebrows who was working on a piece of metal, shaping it under his hammer. Behind him was the banshee of a woman that was responsible for all that screaming.

They both looked at me before the woman screamed at me.
" What are you doing here! This is a private property!"
" Look I'm here to get something repaired if possible. But if you don't want me here, I can go somewhere else."
Before the woman could scream the man came to me.
" You mean the bow on your back, am I right? Let me see and I'll see what I can do about your cutie." He said and I gave him the longbow which he took with great vigour.
After fiddling with it for a while he said.
" I can repair this, but It'll cost ya ten silver. What do you say. I think I gave ya a fair price for my work."
" Deal, but I'll be watching you work."
" Deal"
We shook hands as his wife now flabbergasted watched on. She took a moment to process what happened, before saying.
" Honey, what if I bring you both some drinks while you're here. As for young mister here have a seat." She said and took a chair from one side of the workshop.
It was quite cramped, but it had all the tools a craftsman would need.
He repaired the bow in front of me. It took him some time so meanwhile Stella came here and had the water that his wife placed here.
" Here it's done except the bowstring, I don't have any material that could replace it but It should work for a while. If you can get me some spider silk or anything of that sort even some tendons of monsters. I could fix it completely" He gave me the longbow back.

" So how much for this repair?"
" It'll be 10 silvers."
I gave him the money.
" Do you happen to have any leather armour?"
" I do have some on the shelves. My neighbour makes them sometimes and trades them with me."
We came to the shelves. I started inspecting each one and looking for any hidden gems.
" Master, this one would look good on you." Stella said as she took one leather tunic out.
" These aren't for me, but for you. If you want to look for something yourself and I'll buy it if it's good."
" But what do I do with stuffy leather armour. I should have some normal clothes instead, no?"
" Yes, you should have normal clothes." At least she's self-aware. " As for what you'll do with the armour." I stared at her and she looked back at me.
" You'll be going Dungeon crawling with me."
Her eyes widened as she stared at me. I waved my hand in front of her face and she got out of it.
" What!?"
I ended up buying her a set of leather armour, a short sword with a wooden shield and a dagger as a backup. While we were on our way to get the necessary supplies for the dungeon. I also bought her a set of casual clothes.
We got to the guy from which I bought arrows last time. He was normal this time and gave me his name. From him we bought bandages, arrows, minor supplies, antidotes and a highlight of this all, two backpacks.
With my shopping spree done It was already lunch and I had 20 copper coins to my name.
We came to the market and got bread and some vegetables.
" Now we have no money." I looked at her as she was done eating half of the bread.
And so, we departed to the Dungeon.
At the Dungeon entrance there were no other people than the guards. They at first had some problems with Stella having no Adventurers ID, but after showing them that she's my slave they let us in.
