" Hey Raven. Are we going to just sit here in the silence?"
" Then what's there to talk about?"
" If you continue being a cunt then nothing." She huffed and sat with her back facing me.
A short silence took over before I broke it.
" Then what's your favourite colour?"
" Why can't you ask something normal?"
" Like what?"
" God you're hopeless. Look I'll do the asking now. And by the way it's blue. Where are you from?"
" A far-away place."
" Why did you leave?"
" I had no other choice, but to do so. It wasn't of my own volition."
" What do you mean? Is it some kind of ritual that you have to undergo?"
" Nothing of that kind. I lived my life well, meeting up to my parents expectations for me was a difficult task. But I managed to do so. Everything was going well until a single accusation from my cousin took that everything from me."
" What happened next?"
" Well, I tried to get my parents to understand that I didn't do it. Yet they didn't mind my words. For them anything I said was just the words of a criminal. In the end they took everything they could and I spiralled out of control, drinking myself every night to sleep."
" What were you accused of that they did all that?"
" It was of rape and blackmail of my cousin."
" But you didn't do that and that's all that matters. Besides if they really knew you for who you are they wouldn't have a reason to doubt you."
" It's not my parents that's in the wrong. I have to leave it to my cousin. Because she gathered a lot of evidence of my supposed crimes."
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
She sat beside me.
" How were you till you met me?"
" Better."
" That was sharp."
" I didn't have to risk my life before. I just was. I don't know my parents as they left me in a orphanage where I was for a long time."
" How was your time there?"
She smiled and said." It was good. Each day we played and were getting education. I remember as I once was being bullied by other kids a girl stood up for me."
" But it didn't last for too long. One day a bunch of people came to the orphanage and took us. They didn't take all of us. Thankfully the girl was left in the orphanage. They then took us to another city to be sold."
" And that what bring you to this point."
" Well yeah, I was taken in by a brothel, because of how I looked. There I was trained by the other prostitutes. They made me what I am today."
" In that case I'm no different than those prostitutes."
She looked at me with a weird gaze.
" Don't look at me that way. I mean it in a sense that I'm going to make "I paused and looked at her. " what you'll become in the future."
We sat in silence. Shoulder against shoulder and looked into the distance.
Which was about 10 meters, because of all that fog all around. But even then there seemed to be more than the eye could see.
" What is your ideal life?" I asked
" Not having to risk my life."
" You're still angry about this?"
" Why shouldn't I be?"
" Because whatever your answer to my question would have been. You'll have to have power to get the life you want and power to keep it."
" And still I managed to outsmart you."
" How so to not risk your life. Power is needed, because whatever life you're living a slight mistake can happen and your perfect life goes tumbling down."
I looked at her.
" It's like with you and me. You had no choice, but to take orders from the thugs. Being their little bait before I came and did what I wanted."
" Don't try to act like you saved a damsel in distress in your shining armour."
" Yeah, you're no damsel." I said and bopped her nose.
" What was that for?"
" Nothing."
" Great and now you're going insane."
" Well, there are some rumours about me that I'm crazy."
" I don't see why not at all."
" Yeah, yeah. I too couldn't tell."
" So, why is it?"
" I chased some people around the first time I came out the Dungeon."
" What?"
" As you've heard."
" What happened?"
" Well, after that they hit my head with some stick."
She started laughing.
" What's so funny?"
" I think they made it even worse."

It was a long wait, but my wound healed up and my HP went to half.
Stella cut up the spiders and put them in the backpacks in case we'll need something to eat. It'll be horrible experience if it gets to that. But better survive than die of starvation.
As for water I don't worry too much, because a lot of tunnels are created thanks to the flow of water.
" Move-"
" Yeah, move in front of me. Right on it"
We smiled at each other and moved in a line along the edge looking for any tunnel.
