The Dungeon was located behind the big walls in the Downtown area. All around were shops and a few people were going around.
The shops had all kinds of stuff and supplies. I couldn't afford anything so any healing wares were out of the question.
I went before the Dungeon and waited for guards to come and check my ID. The Dungeon entrance was nothing much. It was just a reinforced door in the ground. Guarded in case something non-human came out.
When all the procedures were done. I went inside.
By this point I spent so much time just looking around that my HP went back to full.
The first thing I noticed with the closing door were the glowing mosses on the walls of the Dungeon. They gave off a green glow that had to suffice for me to hunt as I brought no light.
I didn't need it. It would only alert the monsters to my location.
With the bang behind me I was alone. With the door closed the atmosphere of the Dungeon could be felt.
Water droplets from the air started to form on my gear, seeping through the bandages on my skin. Slight vibrations from the floor were traveling through the soles of my feet.
I crouched and went my way along the right side of the tunnel. Along the way on the walls were marks left by Adventurers guiding me along.
All around me were small crevices from which creaking sounds were coming.
I grabbed the nearest moss I could find and skewered it with one of my arrows. The moss itself was sticky and left behind a light coating of some liquid on my hand.
I used the arrow with moss as a kind of makeshift torch that I then used to stick into one of the crevices. I immediately regretted that action as there were smaller spiders there. About as big as a cat.
They were stacked on top of each other. Their hairy bodies making some sort of tangled up ball. Their beady eyes reflected the light as they were looking at me.
I thrust my arrow right through that ball.

I had no time to listen to system notifications. As I ran away with small spiders crawling after me.
I read somewhere that spiders could hatch a lot of eggs, but only now can I confirm that being the case.
A hundred plus spiders were following me as I made my way down through the tunnels. After running for a good while I looked behind me. In all this chaos they must've gotten lost in my tracks.
I looked around for any marks or signs of anyone ever exploring here. But there were none. I too was lost. I reapplied some moss onto my arrow and got my bow in hand. Arrow with moss on string just waiting for something to appear and confront me.
I started sneaking my way back while leaving marks on the left wall.
I made my way until I came to an intersection. I was remembering from which way I came. When from the left one a sound of something rapidly tapping against the stone floor was heard. By the second It was getting louder.
I laid my back against the wall and drawn my bow. Waiting for what's to appear in the glow of the mosses.
From the darkness of the tunnel, I started to make out a vague outline of something small on the floor.
Those spiders probably caught up I released my arrow at the outline.
It hit and in fury rolled back. Then it got faster and when I got my bow drawn for a second time.
I could see a giant centipede in front of me. Its carapace was reflecting the nearby glow making its armour appear shiny. My first arrow was stuck in the first segment of the carapace right behind its head.
I let go of my second arrow when it came rushing at me. I had no time to look where the arrow hit as I was thrown further down the tunnel.

I came tumbling down the tunnel. Each stone hitting my body.

I got back up on my feet. Bow in hand, arrow on the bowstring. I aimed at the fucker that was slithering towards me and let another one loose.
I went directly for my dagger and when the fucker came thrusting at me I dodged to the side.

Something grazed my side, but I paid it no mind as I plunged my dagger through its body.
I left my dagger inside and came around it. It backed off from me. Having a bit of rest I dropped my bow and took out two arrows.
Having two arrows in one in each hand I started to observe as it was rearing in pain, but not one screech came out of its spiked mouth.
I was circling around it, when It snapped and plunged at me one more time. At that moment I dodged again but it managed to catch me and plunge its mouth in my shoulder.

I wasted no time and pierced both my arrows into his head. I kept on twisting and pushing it deeper inside until a system notification came.

I got my arrows out and the fucker fell to the floor. The place where he hit me was fortunately covered with chain mail. There were only little dents signifying any previous battle and a pain in my back from the fall.
I turned my eyes to the corpse.
It was still here. Why's it still here.
I sat on the ground arms and legs locked. I was waiting for the corpse to pixelize, but nothing of that sort happened. Instead, I sat there and felt a warm liquid dripping on my arm.
A dark red blood was on my hand. It was my blood.
