[EVOLUTION AVAILABLE]
Would you like to evolve?
[Y/N]
Note that further levels can not be attained until you have evolved.
Level 16 elite. In hindsight he should have gotten an appraisal type skill sooner. Whoops. All well it worked out in the end and it probably wasn’t available yet anyway. So it worked. And way too easily. “Everything just seemed to go my way. Oh wait… OP skill for the win!” the bunny cheered to himself.
He’d laid the trap, Mr Lizard Turtle fell in and then promptly died with the thorns piercing its soft belly making way too much poison to be healthy pump through its system.
Now there were some levels and apparently, he had an evolution pending. First things first, assign attributes. He still thought that as a rabbit speed would be his best bet so, two points to [AGILITY] and the other to [DEXTERITY]. Done. Saving the skill points until after his evolution sounded best. Maybe evolving would give him some new skills to pick from that he didn’t have access to yet.
He was too small and weak to drag his prey back home yet so he buried it instead and covered the ground with even more vines.
*DING*
[POISON RESISTANCE] has reached Level 6.
He still felt like crap from the poison but his resistance skill along with the attributes from his level ups allowed him to endure the poisoning better. Using [STEALTH] and [MINOR TELEPORT] the rabbit made his way home through the sea of monsters. Evolution didn’t sound like something that he would go through bright eyed and bushy tailed. He needed somewhere safe. Finally reaching the burrow he hopped home and laid down next to Mother. It seemed all his other siblings were out exploring the burrow again. Mother appeared to have sensed that he wasn’t in the best of shape and didn’t even give him a flap of the ear for worrying her again. She just let him feed and then rest while apprehensively watching over him.
Ready for whatever happened next the young bunny selected [YES] to evolve. Everything went dark and he could no longer move his body. He could still feel everything though.
Select your evolution from the following options:
[JUVENILE HORNED RABBIT]
That was it. Just one option. Well that actually made sense since he hadn’t done all that much yet and he was still only in the growing phases of his monsterhood. Without further ado he picked it.
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
[EVOLUTION IN PROCESS]
[INFANT HORNED RABBIT] to [JUVENILE HORNED RABBIT]
[COMPLETE]
Select defence skill from the following:
[TOUGH FUR]
[MAGIC SHIELD]
[VINE WALL]
Ahhh here it is, the skills he was promised. He was still unable to move so this must be a part of the evolution process. [TOUGH FUR] sounded bristly, count that out. He liked having soft and fluffy fur, it helped make naptime comfy. [VINE WALL]. Nope. No way. He already had enough vines in his nightmares he did not need anymore of them. [MAGIC SHIELD] it is. Magic sounded cool too, it was just a no brainer.
[MAGIC SHIELD] – Unlocked
Select heroic skill from the following:
[SAVE THE DAY]
[HEROES MOMENT]
[DYING BREATH]
[FOR THE PEOPLE]
[SACRIFICE]
Who knew heroic skills were so… morbid. [DYING BREATH]? [SACRIFICE]? It makes one wonder if the other skills are any better. [FOR THE PEOPLE] didn’t exactly sound appealing either. Trying to focus on the skills gave the same result as in the skill shop. Nada. Eeny meeny miny mo in his head between the final two gave him his answer.
[SAVE THE DAY] – Unlocked
Horned Monster Rabbits generally have their Affinities and Proficiencies selected for them due to their low [INTELLIGENCE] and [WISDOM].
Generically Horned Monster Rabbits are granted one of the following:
[LIGHTNING AFFINITY] – 100% - Chance 7/10
[LIGHT AFFINITY] – 100% - Chance 1/10
[LIGHTNING AFFINITY] – 50% [LIGHT AFFINITY] – 50% - Chance 2/10
Due to your [INTELLIGENCE] being equal to or above 10, you may choose your own Affinities and Proficiencies.
All Proficiencies from each Affinity must equal 100%.
You may bypass this limit by sacrificing a skill, skill point or attribute point.
1 point will increase proficiency in one affinity by 10%
Note that all beings have natural affinities. This means that a being will be able to more easily channel and control the magic of that affinity. Horned Monster Rabbits natural affinities are [LIGHTNING] and [LIGHT].
Select magic affinity from the following base affinities:
[FIRE]
[WATER]
[AIR]
[EARTH]
[LIGHTNING]
[LIGHT]
[DARK]
[LIFE]
[DEATH]
[UNDEATH]
[POISON]
[TRANSMUTATION]
[NATURE]
[SOUND]
[MYSTIC]
[BEASTIAL]
[MENTAL]
[NULL]
[SPACE]
[GRAVITY]
[TIME]
[CHAOS]
[ORDER]
“Woah, a lot to take in there. Pretty awesome though. Base affinity? Pretty sure that’s referring to how you can mix affinities. [FIRE] and [EARTH] would probably make [LAVA]. While [FIRE] and [WATER] would combine into something like [FOG] or [STEAM]” the bunny thought to himself.
There were some pretty amazing affinities but he only had 100% of proficiency to split and the less proficiency an affinity had, the weaker he would be in it. He was really glad about saving those skill points right about now. Didn’t grieve over the spent attribute points though, he needed those to survive. His thoughts were as follows, sticking to his natural affinity would be best so [LIGHTNING] and [LIGHT] were a go. Next. He also really wanted [NATURE], [SPACE] and [GRAVITY], however, if he also got [WATER] and [AIR] then he might be able to create something akin to storm magic. That would be seriously OP. All the other affinities sounded awesome too. But if he picked them all then he'd have a sad amount of proficiency even if he sacrificed most of his skills. Glancing over the list again the rabbit decided that in the future he would need a defence against any [MENTAL] or [NULL] magic he came across. Decision made he also picked the two affinities, even if he had low proficiency in them at least it was something.
So in conclusion, his affinities would be [WATER], [AIR], [LIGHTNING], [LIGHT], [NATURE], [MENTAL], [NULL], [SPACE] and [GRAVITY]. With that decided he then focused how to divide his proficiency and what skills would be sacrificed.
After much consideration the skills that would get the boot were [HIKING], he could hop just fine on his own, [TRACKING], already had [INVESTIGATE]. [STARTLE], [RANGED COMBAT], [PIERCE], [ENHANCED VOICE], he hadn’t used them yet anyway and they didn’t sound all that useful to a rabbit, [DETECT WEAK POINT] also hadn’t proved to be helpful as he could kind of figure that out himself. Between the original 100%, the three spare skill points and the seven sacrificed skills, that came to a total of 200% proficiency to divvy up.
