The tunnel exiting his home floor was lit by the same glittering purple blue crystals that covered the cave roof of the first floor. The rabbit swallowed down his trepidation and let himself fall into the excitement and eagerness that he suspected was a result of dungeon interference. Upon reaching the end of the tunnel the space opened up to a view of thick forest. The entrance was on a bit of a ledge, but there was a clear path that went down to the slightly lower ground. The floor itself seemed to steep downwards. Despite the floor being so vast, the decline made it so that the exit at the other end of the cave could be seen. The roof was still glittering with the glowing crystals that gave off a constant light that was weirdly distorted.
First things first. Recon. Even as hyped up as he was to reach the second floor, he still kept his priorities straight. Activating [STEALTH] and [MANA BODY], he then used [MINOR TELEPORT] to make his way among the trees. His findings were quite interesting. There were obviously upgraded versions of the monsters from floor one.
Monster – [AROURAIOS] – [LEVEL 20]
Monster – [ADOLESCENT HORNED RABBIT] – [LEVEL 19]
Monster – [SLAAD] – [LEVEL 20]
Monster – [ADOLESCENT LEG SNAKE] – [LEVEL 18]
Monster – [PYGMY POSSUM] – [LEVEL 20]
Monster – [ADOLESCENT YOKAI KITSUNE] – [LEVEL 18]
However, it was also obvious that these were just prey for the monsters that truly belonged on this floor.
Monster – [BULETTE] – [LEVEL 21]
Monster – [ADOLESCENT BARLGURA] – [LEVEL 16]
Monster – [ADOLESCENT CATOBLEPAS] – [LEVEL 18]
Monster – [WARG] – [LEVEL 20]
Despite being of similar levels, these monsters were much scarier. The second floor was set up much like the first. There were four much larger ponds, each the territory of a key monster of the floor. Both the [BARLGURA]s and the [WARG]s were vying for the [CATOBLEPAS]’ pond. Similar to the situation with the frogs and the rabbits before he was born.
The [BALGURA]s were gorilla like monsters with tusks and bright red fur. In opposition to their colouring, they didn’t seem to be all that bright upstairs. He had seen a [LEVEL 17] get flicked in the face by a branch and then procede to punch the offending tree. It had then moved on to every tree in the area making a loud racket. A pack of [WARG]’s had been attracted by the noise and quickly taken the creature down. The [WARG]s were pretty much big wolves. Very big wolves that belonged in nightmares alone. They seemed to be the smartest of the four top races of the floor. Next on the list was the [BULETTE]s, a race that looked kind of like sharks. The differences were the much shorter tails that didn’t have fins, and the four stumpy legs. Its body looked to be armoured, reminding him of an armadillo. Finally, there were the [CATOBLEPAS]’. These bovine-like creatures seemed to be a mix between a bull and a moose, just with a very long neck that was maybe half as long as a giraffe’s. [CATOBLEPAS]’ were a grazing race that mostly lived off the grass and plants of the forest. He noticed that their territory had the most clearings fit for grazing land.

So, now that he had sussed out the competition, what would his first move be? He decided on a [BULGURA]. They were big, dumb bullies, so he wanted to take some out. His main concern was staying away from the pond territories. He did not need or want to be ganged up on. Eventually he found a lone ape creature fumbling along like it didn’t seem to have a care in the world. It was munching on a [LEG SNAKE] as it trundled along, heading towards the exit to the third floor.
Monster – [BARLGURA] – [LEVEL 22]
The neck. He needed to go for the spine in the back of the neck. Breathe in. Breathe out. Making one last check to make sure there were no other monsters in the area he teleported to the back of his prey and then used [WIND BLADE] as powerful as he could make it.
Well, there was good news and bad news. The good news was that he definitely got the kill as the monster’s head flew clean off. The bad news was that his empowered magic blade cut through a whole swath of forest which revealed a [BULETTE]. Its armour had been grievously cut, but the monster didn’t appear harmed in any way so it mustn’t have cut all the way through. It looked very annoyed though. It charged at him. Thinking fast he teleported onto its back and then sent another fully empowered [WIND BLADE] through the armoured neck. As the armour was the direct target this time it cut all the way through, slicing its head off. The attack had been aimed towards the ground this time making the rest of the surrounding trees safe from his tyranny, for now.
Panting, the rabbit teleported to a thick high branch and then collapsed in relief. That had been really stressful. A lot more stressful than he had been expecting too.

[LEVEL UP] You have reached Level 16.
12 Attribute points have been distributed according to the natural inclinations of your race.
You have 15 Skill points and 6 Attribute points to distribute manually.
That’s right, with the elves attacking he had completely forgotten to assign his attribute points from his last level up. That was a stupid move, but he kind of had a lot on his mind at the time so he could forgive himself just this once. He decided to make the last push to bring his three lowest stats up to ten. [VITALITY], [WISDOM], and [PERCEPTION] all got two points each.
Alright, what to do with this meat? He really wanted to hang on to it but where was he supposed to put it to keep it safe? Aha! What if he had an inventory skill? Excitement building once again, the bunny went through his available skills.
Available Skills:
[MOGLOG] – 20 Points
[CRONO DEPOZITARE] – 50 Points
Well, that sucked. He needed to get more levels before he could purchase either of them. That was kind of to be expected though, with how awesome they were.
[MOGLOG]
Allows storage of up to 100 separate items in a space linked to the user. If below 1 Kilogram, up to 1000 of the same items can be counted as one. Maximum storage limit of 1000 Kilograms per item. Liquids will only be stored up the maximum amount. Can not store living entities.
[CRONO DEPOZITARE]
Allows storage of any item of any size. An unlimited inventory that allows the storage of living entities. All items and entities will be frozen in time during storage.
The current goal was [MOGLOG]. It was only a couple of levels away so he would come back for the bodies of his fallen prey later. If they were still around by then. He didn’t actually have much hope for that. They would probably be eaten by then. It was highly likely. Definitely likely. Never mind. Focus on the future. What was next? Hmmm. He wanted to check out those [CATOBLEPAS] things again. Then he would move on to the [WORG]s. That was the plan. With that in mind, he activated his skills once more, and then teleported from branch to branch.
