Well, whether he wanted to or not, finding out was now his priority. His main goal was still to reach [LEVEL 50], on what he assumed could be attained on the eighth floor. Going over his skills, the rabbit decided it was now time to add swimming to the repertoire. “Stay here please” he requested of the kelpie.
There was no need to endanger his aide any more than necessary. Not seeing a sneaky way to go about the process, the bunny just jumped straight into the water from the bank. Then he sensed it. A tentacle rising up from below. “You have a teleport skill, you have a teleport skill, you have a teleport skill” he kept chanting in his mind as it grew closer.
The end wrapped around his body and then began to pull downwards. Wanting to see if his eyes had better luck underwater, he activated his sight skill. A glow radiated from his pupils. Having torch eyes was yet another new discovery. This discovery was outshone however, as the [LESSER KRAKEN]’s main body came into view. It was just an octopus. A very, very big octopus that was now staring directly at him with an eye that was at least five times his entire body. Um, gulp? Not to worry though, this was a bunny with a plan. After his heart finally started beating again, he channelled [LIGHTNING] magic through his body before focusing the mana through the tentacle holding him and then down into the monster’s head.
A whale call combined with the screech of nails on a chalk board. That was the sound released as its tenacle loosened. It really hadn’t liked that. So, the rabbit reversed their roles as he latched on to its tentacle and channelled more of the same affinity. [WATER] mana began to swirl the surrounding area as another screech came. It seemed the opponent was also competent in magic. He needed to end this before the giant squid could really get going. Now free of the enemy’s appendage, the rabbit teleported to the skin right beside the visible giant eye. Pressing his paws to the surface the rabbit summoned up as much [LIGHTNING] magic as possible and focused it down into its brain. With one final shriek, the monster went limp. It looked like calamari would be on the menu.

He found the carcass was too heavy to drag with [TELEKINESIS]. Fortunately, he remembered that it didn’t matter thanks to his [CRONO DEPOZITARE] skill. Happy with his catch, the little rabbit almost missed the enormous shadow coming up behind him. Following his instincts, he teleported directly beside [ULA] to avoid what would surely be a hassle. He was right of course. The fight had allowed his sight skill to level up enough so that he could now see the outlines of darker shapes through the water. There were at least three other [LESSER KRAKEN]s in that small sea, and one had been coming to try and eat him.
Deciding to take his mind off the scare, he allocated the spare points. Two into [INTELLIGENCE] and [WISDOM] with the final point going to [VITALITY]. Having focused on his breathing and calmed down, he could now think about the fight critically. It had been nerve racking, but he hadn’t actually been in that much danger. At any moment he could just teleport himself back to the surface. With this reasoning in mind, he tried again, this time with [ULA] in tow. The kelpie, who was adept in water was just fine. He himself also excelled. Over the next few days, the stock of calamari gradually increased along with his levels. It turned out krakens were extremely aggressive creatures, and the bunny was happy to roll with that.

So… the plan changed to completely avoiding the eighth floor, at least for now. He could get to [LEVEL 50] with the floors already conquered anyway. The reason? Well, there were two main ones. First, the type of floor. It was a water floor with ocean as far as the eye could see. No one liked water floors. Second, who wanted to fight water dinosaurs in deep oceans? No one, that’s who. Before you judge you can be the one to look a forty-foot kronosaurus or a sixty-foot megalodon in the eye and not flee. They weren’t needed to reach [LEVEL 50], so there was no need to take on that particular floor. On that note, both he and [ULA] finished reaching his goal by taking down monsters of the sixth and seventh floors.

Looking good. Time to head back up. So saying, they did just that. Upon returning to his family, there were quite a few surprises. There were raised levels for everyone, they were now all around [LEVEL 30]. The rabbits had also found and gotten along with the talkative snake that had nearly turned into prey earlier. Rey had actually named the monster. It was one of the names that Roger himself had spit balled to himself after meeting the reptile. Rey must have overheard and decided to take matters into his own paws. [VASSILIOS] was now a live in guard of sorts. He was constantly coiled up in the middle of his family’s burrow and just slept there. It was a win win situation for all involved.
The pack of [WARG]s that had previously been tamed had now expanded their pack to include all wolves in the area. Every canine monster on the second floor now obeyed his siblings. Sweet. Rey had also ended up taking control of all the kitsune, including the ones that had managed to travel to the second floor. His friend ended up finding two foxes with similar conditions to his own. Instead of full white with orange patches on the ears and paws, these two instead were full black with orange patches. Rey had taken the [ADOLESCENT KURO YOKAI KITSUNE]s and had levelled them. They had evolved into [KURO YOKAI KITSUNE ADVISOR]s with [REYNARD]’s assistance. These two then pretty much lorded over all the other foxes at Rey’s command. While explaining all the changes to Roger, Rey’s eyes shone and his tail wagged, as if he expected a treat and that he should be told he was a ‘good boy’. The bunny obliged him by cooking octopus for everyone. Apparently, they all loved calamari. [ULA] just stood by his side as usual, almost making him forget to introduce her. She wasn’t exactly a chatterbox. After getting home the dual horned rabbit rested with his family for a few weeks. For being a rabbit monster, life was pretty good.
Then the day came. It was time to explore the outside. He would go on his own. There was no need to drag everyone into trouble because of his curiosity. He made everyone promise to look after each other while he was gone. He got the feeling that Benjimen and Thumper were taking the promise even more seriously than everyone else. Well good. He was glad he could rely on them. He made sure to leave them plenty of food as well as instructions to hide from the scary humanoids. With everything settled, the reincarnated bunny exited the dungeon into the sun, and then gaped in surprise.
