Yu Quan was surprised. He didn’t realize how many points he had burned through. He felt conflicted. He needed to begin cultivation as soon as possible. Losing to the mortal woman and seeing Liang Ping made him feel weak. But, if he could combine the arts and save himself time, he wanted to take that chance.

Yu Quan thought for a moment; then, an idea struck him. He rushed out of the alley and ran back into town. Yu Quan went around doing all types of good deeds. Fixing buildings, hauling, advertising businesses, anything that could possibly give him some points. He would run up to someone, forcefully help them, and then run off, muttering to himself like a crazy person. Thus, the legend of Blossom Falls’ ‘Helpful Lunatic’ was born.

Yù Quán let out a sigh. He had spent almost the entire day helping people against their will. Most good deeds didn't complete any secret missions, but Yù Quán eventually noticed a pattern. He would be rewarded for anything involving the Yellow Qilin Academy. This showed him that secret missions had something to do with the current quest or mission. Since he was given the quest for Yellow Qilin Academy, he looked for anything that could directly or indirectly help the academy. After a while, he was able to rack up around a hundred points.

Yu Quan hit ‘Yes’ and watched as almost all of his points were taken. The combination cost precisely one hundred points. He was dumbfounded. All of his work had been taken away in a second. As he was wallowing in his sorrow, an animation started playing. The two bodies of text, which were the names of the two arts, were brought together. What resulted was a singular sentence.

Yu Quan was excited. This was definitely worth all the points he spent. It had a little bit of everything: cultivation, body refinement, and utility. Yù Quán felt his mind being filled with information. It was as if he was living through the experiences of someone who had mastered the art. Yu Quan thought about his studies back in his world and how convenient a system like this would have been. But, although it allowed him to learn the information right away, he still needed some practice to get his body used to doing it. So, he couldn’t have used it to become a professional sports player or anything.

Yù Quán took some time to learn the basics of the art. After reading it, he was surprised; it was really a heavenly art. It wasn’t just a cultivation art, but it also kept the methods of the [Bǎimùguǐ Thieving Technique], allowing him to use it for body refinement and attack, defense, and utility. The only downside was that he would need to collect powerful eyes to use it.

The cultivation art followed basic cultivation since it was a formless technique, meaning it didn’t have a specific affinity or type of qi. There wasn’t such thing as ‘sight qi’. Although it was basic in type, it was far from a regular cultivation method. Many of the stages of the cultivation art followed a unique path. For example, when forming the core, it has to be developed differently to create the hundred eye sockets. This method takes more effort and precision than traditional spheric cores. So, Yù Quán would be in the Essence Refinement stage for a bit longer than he would with other arts.

As far as eyes went, there were three uses for them with the art—body, core, and refining. The first two were stated in the basic info of the technique: eyes could be refined to the body to temper it and to use their abilities, or their pressure if they have none, and they could be refined to the core to increase qi-sight and empower the core. The last use could take eyes and directly refine them inside the core into qi or help progress cultivation. This would ensure that all eyes were useful, even if they were weak.

Yù Quán was happy to see that eyes could be moved from the outside inwards to replace eyes in the body and the core. But, if he wanted to replace an eye on the body, it could only go to the core or refinement. And if he wanted to replace an eye on the core, it could only be refined inside. He couldn’t bring eyes back out to the body, and if he refined them inside the core, they would no longer exist, so he couldn’t get them back to a socket in the core. Despite the drawbacks, the cultivation art and its techniques gave Yu Quan the confidence to become a top talent as long as he had the time to grow. After coming to understand the [Stolen Mumulian], he stopped to look at his information.

Remembering how many points he had, he suddenly thought it would be so much more convenient if it were added to his information.
