[Quanzhì Palace Art]
N/A
Created by the system combining the [Quanzhì Mind Art] and the [Mind Palace Art].
Practicing the art boosts cultivation and connects the minds of others. Practicing the full art creates a mind palace by refining a piece of the mind, spirit, and soul. There is a lower level of the art that gives them access to the palace. The art uses a series of soul brands to determine what information can be accessed by those with the lower level of the art and how much of it.
Can be learned.
This art was perfect. Yù Quán couldn’t contain his excitement as he was reading deeper into the art. It solved all of his problems with the old art and even had new benefits. The only thing he had to worry about now was convincing people to practice the art without being manipulative or making sure he wasn’t the one taken advantage of. Now, he just needed to figure out how he would use this. He didn’t feel he could give it to the Yellow Qilin Academy. As much as he trusted them, he felt there was no way he could justify being in charge of information as a disciple.
Plus, this art was serious. He didn't want to end up under someone for such a long time, or even forever if he was unlucky. He had to make sure that when he used it, he used it in the most advantageous way. But he couldn’t think how. He knew that he wanted more authority, which would end up keeping him safe, and the easiest way to do that was to rise through the ranks as a representative in the Blossom Falls town government. Yàn Lìqín had been implying it. Yù Quán assumed he had something planned that involved him getting promoted, but he couldn’t guess what.
But he didn’t feel a small-town government was strong enough to protect him, even if he took the position of mayor. He needed more. Especially if he was going to achieve all these goals he had and the ones the system gave him, too. He had no clue how he was going to find the people behind the Cult of the Almighty scam the original owner of his body had fallen for. He didn’t even know where he was going to start. The Cult of the Almighty made Yù Quán smirk. Even he could come up with a better name than that. He thought he could have run the entire scheme better than they did.
“...wait”, Yù Quán said in realization. “I could do better than they did. I could have my own cult, my own force. It could both be my power and my backup plan.”
Yù Quán’s mind was racing. He could use the [Quanzhì Palace Art] as the main cultivation art and purpose of the cult. To create a mysterious, immaterial archive for an otherworldly being. He could have the cult run in the shadows while he was a town representative and a disciple of the Yellow Qilin Academy in the open.
“If I can make an information network that was deep enough, I could find who was behind the Cult of the Almighty and avenge Zhuo Duyong. Genius!”
But Yù Quán noticed the problem. Where would he start setting up an information network? He was new to this town, the whole world for that matter. Even if he started small, he still didn’t know enough to take any steps or make any moves. He would need help. He didn’t have anyone good with information he could trust with something like this. Not that he knew well enough and would be willing to work under him, anyway. He needed someone good at obtaining knowledge with nothing to lose and everything to gain. After a few moments of thinking, a grin grew on his face. He knew just who to go to.
…
In Blossom Falls, a woman was walking through the various streets. She was average height, with short, golden brown hair and matching amber eyes. Her clothes were decent, just some slight imperfections from being worn. She looked solemn as she went through Blossom Falls. This was Su Chunhua. She had been taken by the Yellow Qilin Academy months ago for interrogation. Luckily enough for her, she didn’t receive any punishment. She was a mortal and a civilian; she felt they must’ve felt like they would be bullying her if they gave her any punishment. It's not like she would need punishment, anyway. After seeing how easily the big, burly disciple restrained and carried her around, she didn’t want any part of the business anymore.
But that business paid the bills. She hadn’t spent any time in any other job and was finding it hard to find a new one without the proper skill or experience. It was just so easy to fall into sketchy freelance work. Now, it was hard to get out of it. She had gone for a walk, hoping to see someone who was in need of some type of work so that she could put food on the table. But, weirdly, everyone in town seemed to have received all the help they needed for the time being. They all described some crazy guy running around doing work for people and just leaving. Su Chunhua just couldn’t get away from all these people ruining her career.

“You’re not doing so well, huh?”
Su Chunhua turned at the sound of a familiar voice to see a familiar person. His figure was a bit more muscular than the last time he saw him, but there was no way he could mistaken him. With his long black ponytail, smug face, and cocky attitude, she knew who she was talking to.
“Ugh! What now?” Su Chunhua sighed. “Haven’t you Yellow Qilin people put me through enough?”
Yù Quán looked at her pitifully, then shook his head. For how much he seemed to make fun of him, he was acting a lot like Yàn Lìqín at the moment.
“That was them and I am me. You have heard the news that there is a new law enforcement sector in the town government?”
Su Chunhua rolled her eyes and turned to walk away. “Sure, I have, but they aren’t here now, are they?”
Suddenly, Yù Quán used the [Yellow Qilin Dance] to pounce forward. He stopped right in front of Su Chunhua, blocking her path. Su Chunhua was surprised. This wasn’t the same cocky guy who she beat by fighting dirty. The Yellow Qilin Academy had developed him into one of the cultivators she was so used to working for, maybe even stronger.
Yù Quán smirked. “Are you sure they aren’t?”
Su Chunhua jumped and began looking around sporadically. “Are they? Where?”
Yù Quán just stayed quiet with his smug face. When Su Chunhua noticed he hadn’t answered and no one who looked like a representative was around, she quickly realized what he meant. She slowly turned to meet Yù Quán’s gaze.
“No…”
Yù Quán crossed his arms and gave her a quick nod.
“Fuck…” Su Chunhua sighed. “Look, I already gave up a life of shady work. I’m actually looking for a real job as we speak. There’s no need for-”
“There’s no need for that,” Yù Quán interjected, cutting her off.
This left Su Chunhua confused. If he wasn’t here to keep her on the straight and narrow, what was he here for? Yù Quán took her to a nearby alley and explained his situation vaguely, leaving out any info that should be saved until he could trust her, mostly about a cult and information network that would start in Blossom Falls and branch out if possible. Su Chunhua thought he was crazy at first, which was apparent from her expression. But, that face slowly shifted to intrigue, then contemplation.
“You know if anyone else asked this, I would run away, right?”
Yù Quán laughed. “Honestly, I’m surprised I’m being treated any differently.”
“It’s because of your situation. Disciple of the Yellow Qilin Academy and the new Representative of Law Enforcement? Wait, doesn’t being a new representative mean your academy won the Blossom Tournament?”
Yù Quán smiled and nodded, which made Su Chunhua think some more.
“You have a decent background. Not as good as members of clans and large forces, but definitely big enough to make you powerful in Blossom Falls… This could honestly work…”
“And it would give you a job and allow you to do what you do best without getting in much trouble yourself.”
Su Chunhua nodded and thought some more. She was taking this way better than Yù Quán thought she would, which excited him.
“My only question is, why do you trust me so much?” Su Chunhua asked after some time.
Yù Quán’s smile turned to a soft one, and his entire expression became gentle. “You’re the most qualified person with the least to lose and the most to gain. It doesn’t exactly make me trust you completely, but it definitely is a better start than any other candidate.”
Su Chunhua's face showed she was slightly surprised, but that quickly turned to her smiling and closing her eyes, then shaking her head.
“You’re too much…” she said before quickly exhaling and opening her eyes. Now Yù Quán saw a determined look on her face as she said, “Okay! Let’s do this.”
