When Yù Quán got to his living quarters, he sighed in relief. The tournament lasted only a few days, but it felt much longer to him. He was happy to get a break, even if it was just momentarily. Yù Quán checked what he received. The quest to make the Eccentric branch of the Yellow Qilin Academy the top branch was somehow completed. He guessed it was because the other branches were even weaker in combat and influence than they were, which didn’t look good for his future. He also completed several secret missions, such as winning the Blossom Tournament, beating Tian Zhebi, avenging his comrades, and so on. From all of the secret missions and the quest, he earned around 450 points and the [Royal Hive Mind Art].
He would’ve been excited about such a haul in the past, but after deducing, combining, and evolving things with the system, he knew they wouldn’t last long. He would have to find time to grind out sect missions. Although they usually only counted as secret missions if they somehow contributed to one of his current quests or missions, he didn’t think that he would receive another quest related to raising the academy's achievements. It was only a matter of time.

Restricting people’s freedom wasn’t something he was too interested in. But, he was interested in the reading thoughts part. He felt that it was possible to set up an information network that could never be found and infiltrated because it was through the mind. The only downside to using this art for that is that it seemed whoever was in control of connections would have to act as a relay for any communication between others, which would be tiresome.
Yù Quán felt this art was too good to pass up on. He wondered if deducing it or finding arts to combine it with could turn it into something more favorable. The art was a deduction made by someone with an agenda. Maybe it wasn’t originally meant to do all these things. He looked through all his techniques and arts until he saw what he had originally thought to be useless.
“[Increased Recognition]?” he asked. “Recognizing has something to do with memory. Couldn’t deducing this create a memorization technique? Then combining it might shift the focus of the art from control and to information and knowledge.”

He technically didn’t even need the [Mind Palace Art] now. But, when he read the warning at the end of the technique, he realized it still had its use.
“If all the information can be saved to a ‘mind palace,’ wouldn’t that allow storing every single piece of information without the risk of overloading the mind? Plus, you wouldn’t miss out on information that came and went while you were focused elsewhere.”
Thinking of this excited Yù Quán. Although he did take a moment to think about the morals of people’s privacy and such, he felt that if he used it responsibly and were upfront about the fact that there was a possibility of little to no privacy, it would be a bit more morally sound. Especially if the [Mind Palace Art] lets the new combined technique have the information automatically organized. He could have all the information he wasn’t specifically looking for sent to a place that could only be accessed under certain conditions, like if someone was suspected of being a spy or something.
He wasted no time and went straight to combining the arts. Yù Quán had grown so accustomed to these animations that he almost didn’t notice them and waited for the result. In a few seconds, he was shown his brand-new technique.
