CHAPTER 368
Chapter 368 Luke Luke turned to look at the young lady properly, and immediately noticed that she was
rather pretty. She was the same woman Ray and Damien had run into a few days ago, the one Ray felt
resembled Clarissa.
However, Luke felt the opposite. In fact, he didn’t think that she looked like Clarissa at all, Though he
and Clarissa didn’t get along, they had still grown up together, and he knew her like the back of his
hand. He didn’t echo Ray’s sentiments.
He just felt that she looked rather innocent and pretty
So, Luke wanted to show off in front of her.
“You don’t believe me?” He was acting like a peacock showing off its tail.
“No, I don’t.”
“Oh, okay. Now you’ve got me feeling like I have something to prove! I’ll take you to Damien’s house Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.
one day. I refuse to believe that he’ll treat me like this. I’m his brother-in-law, after all,” Luke said
contemptuously. “You’re not being serious, are you? Don’t lie to me!”
“I’m not lying! Give me your number. Tomorrow’s Saturday, isn’t it? I’ll bring you to his place tomorrow.”
Luke thumped his chest. “Alright, then.” The young lady pulled out her phone. Luke couldn’t help
thinking that she was much too innocent. He had managed to get her number so easily
“What’s your name?” he asked.
“Lucy Fur.”
“Lucifer?” Luke wasn’t very well-mannered, so he couldn’t help laughing at her outlandish name
Lucy found his braying laugh rather insulting, but then again, she was here to use Luke. With that
thought in mind, she suppressed her displeasure.
“Lucy, as in “I Love Lucy”, and Fur, like a fur coat,” she said
“Oh, got it, got it. Why don’t you type your name on my phone yourself?” Luke followed up teasingly
She took his phone and saved her number.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, then,” Luke said.
“Yeah.”
At ten the following morning, Luke picked Lucy up at the dormitory of the hospital where she worked.
Then, they headed to Damien’s House
Luke wanted to show off in front of Lucy, so he said to the intercom, “Damien’s brother-in
law.”
The housekeeper informed Damien of this.
Damien wasn’t surprised. He knew Luke would cause a scene over not being invited to Neil’s
celebration.
If not today, he would certainly come on another day. “Let him in,” Damien ordered.
Patrick and Vanessa were in the living room as well. When Patrick heard the words “Damien’s brother-
in-law”, he started to lose it.
“Theresa’s… Theresa’s…” he mumbled, looking a little epileptic.
The sight filled Damien with repulsion.
“Take him to his room,” he spat. Vanessa helped Patrick into the room without hesitation.
A short while later, Luke strode in with an unfamiliar woman. Damien appraised her. He had seen her
before “Where’s the kid?” This was the first thing Luke said. “Don’t tell me you don’t know I’m his uncle!
What are you trying to tell the world by not inviting me to his celebration?”
“Don’t humiliate yourself with a woman present, Luke.” Damien raised an eyebrow. “I’m humiliating
myself? Where’s my sister?! Where has she gone after giving birth to your son?” Luke demanded.
“Luke. Don’t do this!” Lucy tugged on Luke’s arin, looking panicky. At this, Damien asked, “It’s only
been a few days since we last saw each other. Where did you find yourself another woman?”
This woman had decided to speak up the moment Luke mentioned that his sister had given birth to
Damien’s child. It was hard for others not to overthink
Luke held Lucy’s hand and patted it lightly. “She’s my new girlfriend. She doesn’t believe that I’m your
son’s uncle, so I brought her here to prove it to her. Do you believe me now?”
Luke turned to her
“What are you saying?” She stomped her foot. It had to be said that when doing this, she did resemble
Clarissa.
