CHAPTER 595 YOUR DAUGHTER’S MAN
“Clarissa, are you crazy?” Luke growled, glaring at Clarissa.
“Luke, why are you talking to me like this? Where are your manners? Are you courting her? Do you
know the kind of person she is?”
“She was having an affair with a married man!” Clarissa continued in annoyance. “Someone took
revenge by splashing the lower half of her body, so I went to see her in the hospital the other day. Why
are you treating her like a treasure? Are you stupid?!”
Logically, Clarissa shouldn’t have bad-mouthed her student. However, she was dealing with her
brother.
Hannah was good-looking, but she was awful at studying. Rumor had it that she slept with the head of
the department to get into graduate school.
“O-Oh….” Luke nodded remorsefully.
Hannah wasn’t one with a decent temperament, but she was very beautiful and seductive. After a
fateful meeting with her at his car shop, Luke was determined to court her. She had arrived in a luxury
car, and was sitting right in the passenger seat.
When the man in the driver’s seat got out and went away for a smoke, Luke inadvertently glanced at
her. His first thought was that she was so, so beautiful. Just that one glimpse of her beauty took his
soul.
He was pursuing her so blatantly because he assumed the man in the driver’s seat was her father.
Thinking back now, that man was probably one of her many lovers.
He came to the school several times, but Hannah didn’t even give him a second glance. This time, he
wanted to take out his best trick. He dressed up elegantly, and even took out the blood bags. He was
ready to go all out.
Unfortunately, he ran into Clarissa.
“D*mn! I was interested in her, but she was used up!” Luke cursed, leaving immediately after that.
Clarissa looked at her watch and saw it was getting late, so she quickly strode to class.

Meanwhile, at Clarissa’s home.
Mildred was very quiet. She sat on the sofa and watched the television alone. It seemed like she loved
watching television after seeing Clarissa at the presentation. She probably wanted to see Clarissa’s
familiar figure on television.
Charles Griffin was like a shadow that haunted her all the time. She always had him in her heart.
Unfortunately, the young actors on television now had worse acting than the actors of the old. Content provided by .
Mildred was irritated, and did not want to watch the television anymore.
“What’s wrong?” Damien was sitting in a recliner and reading a book about trust funds.
“Who are you?” Mildred asked Damien cautiously.
“Me?” Damien glanced up at Mildred. It was his first time alone with Midred. Damien studied Mildred’s
face, and tried to find Clarissa’s reflection in her. He couldn't deny the fact that both of them were top-
notch beauties.
Mildred nodded.
“I’m your daughter’s man.”
“Clary’s man?”
“Yes.”
Mildred seemed to have come to a sudden realization. After that, she asked uneasily, “Where’s Clary?
Is she coming back?”
“She’s gone to class, and she’ll be back this afternoon. Someone else will come over to look after you
by then. Don’t be afraid.” Damien said all this to Mildred in advance so that he would not have to
explain later.
As expected, Mildred panicked slightly. “Watch over me? Who is it? Who? I want Clary!”
Then, she cowered in the corner.
Damien thought Clarissa might not be back by the time the caretaker arrived, so he said, “It’s okay. I’ll
be here.”
Mildred finally breathed a sigh of relief.
“What do you want for lunch?”
“Hmm… I don’t know,” Mildred said, looking lost.
“If you’re not craving anything, I’ll just cook something. How about it?”
“Okay…”
