CHAPTER 457 SHAMELESS BITCH
Luke only replied after a long time.
Luke: [Oh, who’s this? Are you that wonderful sister of mine? Which country have you come back from
this time?]
Clarissa: [Just tell me whether you’ll be there tomorrow.] Content provided by .
Luke: [Of course I will. How can I possibly turn my dearest sister down? Where should we meet?]
Clarissa: [I’m staying at Lily’s place now. Let’s meet at her street.]
Luke: [What happened to the huge house Damien gave you?]
Clarissa: [The house belongs to him, and I didn’t get a single cent after the divorce. I’m broke.]
She didn’t dare to tell Luke the truth. She only mentioned she was broke, but didn’t bring up the
property that Damien had given to her.
Luke: [How useless can you be? What was the point of giving him a son, then?]
Luke had lost hope when he saw what Clarissa had said. It seemed he wouldn’t be able to get anything
from her this time.
After texting Luke, Clarissa started going through her Instagram.
She couldn’t find Damien’s account. She wanted to see Neil’s photos, so she searched around and
found that he had blocked her. No wonder…
Three years ago, she had gone against his wishes and had gone to Emmeria and Lotharia without
looking back. Indeed, he had every reason to block her.
Clarissa mustered her courage to send him a WhatsApp message.
Clarissa: [Can you unblock me on Instagram?]
He didn’t reply to her, even after a long time.
That was to be expected. He was the president of New East Corporation. How could he allow any Tom,
Dick, and Harry to view his Instagram?
She mustered her courage again and sent him a friend request on Instagram.
There was no response from him.
She really wanted to see Neil.
Clarissa used her arm as a pillow as she thought things over. If she didn’t contact Damien and only
viewed his Instagram, Iris probably wouldn’t be able to know about this. Throughout her three years in
Lotharia, she hadn’t contacted Damien at all. Nothing had happened since then.
She knew Damien was powerful, but she also knew that if someone like Iris wanted to do something,
she wouldn’t dirty her own hands. She would find someone unimportant to do something cruel and
ruthless. It wouldn’t be linked to her, and she truly was capable of anything. Clarissa could still
remember how scared she had been when Neil was kidnapped.
The next morning, Damien still hadn’t responded.
Despite her disappointment, Clarissa packed up her luggage and took the toy Camaro Lily had bought
for Neil. She bade Lily farewell and waited for Luke to pick her up.
“Clarissa, it’s been three years since we last saw each other, and you’re still as pretty as ever.
Everyone’s aged, but you still look the same.” Luke looked haggard.
He seemed to have aged a lot.
When they drove past a hospital, Luke suddenly scoffed.
Clarissa frowned. “What’s wrong?”
“That arrogant, undeserving woman! Bitch!” Luke roared. He gnashed his teeth angrily.
“Who?” Clarissa looked outside. There wasn’t anyone around.
“Lucy! That bitch! She fucking led me on when I was pursuing her, and then looked down her nose at
me when she got pregnant with Damien’s baby. Everyone knew she was the mistress of the richest
man in Genovia. What am I compared to him? I was no match for him back then, let alone now.” Luke’s
tone turned self-mocking.
Clarissa’s heart twisted when Luke said that Lucy had gotten pregnant with Damien’s child. She
clenched her fists.
That was what everyone had said.
Even Lucy herself was afraid of Clarissa seeing her child.
How could it be fake?
“I bet she’s waiting for Damien to marry her. How can she compare to my sister, the shameless bitch?!”
Perhaps Luke found Clarissa to be much better than Lucy after comparing them, or perhaps he was
feeling fond of Clarissa after not seeing her for three years.
“Is the child really Damien’s?”
“Duh! There was a period of time when I went to look for her, but she refused to see me. Later on when
I finally got to see her, she was already holding a child in her arms. Do you think I’d raise someone
else’s child? I gave up on her immediately.”
