Two years later................

At the end of January, 1986 "TIME" magazine released a new issue into the market. The title page consists the image of a person, who was always in the eye of media for the past half-decade.

The title says "ALEX KING- The man with the Midas Touch".

The article contains pictures of all his films and their grosses. The article says:

"In 1979 a phenomenon started in Hollywood that continued and dominated the first half of this decade. And this phenomenon has a name called 'Alex King'. This name has become synonym with success. As long he's there in a film, it guaranteed a success.

Starting with 'E.T.' that shaked the entire world he continued his successe with 'Home Alone 1&2', pyschological thriller 'The Sixth Sense', Teen drama 'Lucas', War epic 'Empire of the Sun', 'Billy Elliot' which showcased his dancing skills.

"Stand by Me" was a turning point in Alex's career. He broke his character mold and still impressed the audiences garnering him another Oscar nomination and a win for 'Best Adapted Screenplay'. 

He won four Oscars three for Screenplays and one Best Supporting Actor Award for 'The Sixth Sense'.

In 1984, Alex showed he had the potential to be a action star with "The Karate Kid". Though its named 'The Karate Kid' the martial art he used was a new style and Alex choreographed all his fights. Even the chinese said Alex's movements are faster than those in chinese films. It grossed $260 million with $135 million domestically. In China it grossed $20 million, a new record for the Hollywood film.

Alex's another release in 1984 was "The Goonies" written by Steven Spielberg, about a group of teenagers in search of the treasure. The film grossed $97 million domestically and $71 million internationally for a world wide total of $168 million.

This was the first year since his debut that Alex was not nominated for an Oscar.

In 1985, Alex starred in two films "The Karate Kid II" and "The Breakfast Club". The sequel was a success grossing $280 million worlwide with $147 million coming from USA.

"The Breakfast Club" was another Teen-Comedy-Drama that was praised by several critics as one of the ,if not the best high school film. Produced by "Phoenix Studis" with less than $1 million budget, written and directed by "John Hughes" it grossed $93 million domestically and $58 million internationally for a worldwide total of $151 million.

Alex's role in this film 'John Bender', the rebel was considered was the poster child for the 1980s teenagers and became popular among them.

His 12 films grossed $3.735 Billion in total making him one of the most successful actor in the cinema history.

The film's he involved as producer, screenwriter were also successful. "Honey, I shrunk the Kids" "The Mighty Ducks 1&2" "Pretty Woman" "Mr. Mom" "The Terminator" "Splash" and others.

"Splash" made Tom Hanks and Michelle Pfeiffer stars overnight.

Alex was also a savvy business man with investments in several companies. WallStreet estimated Alex's net worth as $410 million making him one of the richest americans.

Because of his success in every field he was called "The Man with the Midas Touch"."

"Alex , how much do you really worth ?" Kim asked after reading the article. She was sitting with her leaned against Alex in their bed reading morning magazines.

"$620 million " Alex said casually reading the sports section.

"That's a lot." Kim said in surprise.

"It's nothing compared to what I worth after 'Oracle' and 'Microsoft' will go IPO. I expect to cross $1 billion mark this year." Alex said looking down to her.

Kim always felt amazed by Alex. They were in the relationship for the past two years secretly and she still felt that he was mysterious.

"You know what, I think I shall have morning sex." Alex said suddenly and in the next minute he was on the top of Kim.

"Alex, we just did that one hour ago." Kim said laughing. Kim was happy that Alex didn't lose interest in her even after two years.

"Well, it's still morning right." Alex kissed her ear saying that.

"You Sex maniac."

"Only for you, Kim. Only for you."
