After a long day of work, Oliver went to the lab, sat down at his desk, and began looking at documents on his computer. He couldn’t relax yet, not until everything was over. He wanted to just stop working, but Aria, his friends, and the entirety of Lunaria depended on him.
“One more month and then the Inter-World Spaceship will be complete!” Oliver smiled. “We’ll be able to escape Jin-Woo.”
“Everyone's efforts are coming into fruition!” Aria said after entering the lab. “Oliver, you have worked so much! You and my Mom have been so busy making sure everything works correctly. The technology that you two developed is amazing!”
“And because we are the experts, we spend so much time explaining and training the others. The four spaceships will be done by the deadline.” Oliver said as he turned around to face Aria. “But does our deadline allow us to escape from Jin-Woo before he comes here? He has been destroying entire cities in a single attack! Lunaria cannot hold for much longer!”
“I have hope that we’ll succeed! Everyone has worked so hard!” Aria exclaimed with hope. “I am by your side, Oliver. I’ll always be by your side. I promise you that no matter what happens you and I will make sure people escape from Lunaria to Earth in the spaceships!”
“I am sure that Jin-Woo is aware that we are building spaceships to escape this world!” Oliver said.
“If he is aware, why hasn’t he done anything?” Aria asked.
“If you looked at how destructive he is and knowing he can absorb the Magical Energy to become stronger, we can conclude that he could have destroyed Lunaria by now.” Oliver explained. “He has become so powerful he is just playing around and seeing what we do. I see right through you, Jin-Woo!”
“Oliver!” Aria had a terrified expression. “Then what are we supposed to do? Are our efforts futile?”
“Let everything out, Aria!” Oliver hugged Aria. “I am here for you! I know it’s scary thinking how Jin-Woo can end everything in just a moment, but as he told me he will be my enemy next time we meet. And I won’t let my enemy win over me! I’ll stop him at any cost!”

“Weren't you also doubting yourself a moment ago?” Aria was crying. “It’s so frustrating, I can’t do much. I can only fight, but my power is nothing compared to his. And I am not that smart to help the engineers and technicians. I am so powerless to do anything! I am USELESS!!”
“Don’t talk like that about yourself, Aria! It’s thanks to you that I can continue working!” Oliver kissed Aria’s forehead. “It’s because that you’re by my side that I can find the confidence and hope! You’re saying I am an important part of this plan, so you have a big role in keeping me going despite all of the negative emotions that grow inside me. Right after everything is over, let's get married.”
“Weren’t we going to get married during springtime?” Aria asked with a relaxed expression.
“That was the original plan until all of this happened. I want to marry you after we achieve victory, Aria!” Oliver proclaimed. “This will be our best way to celebrate!”
“You’re right, we’ll escape to Earth, and we’ll celebrate with our wedding!” Aria smiled and kissed Oliver. “I can’t wait for that day! One more month and we’ll be husband and wife! Just the thought of it makes me so happy, Oliver! Although, I have a question. How are you so sure about your predictions on Jin-Woo’s actions?”
“It’s a hunch. Before everything happened, we became great friends. We understand each other. ” Oliver answered, “Just as I can more or less predict his next moves, he can also do the same about me.”
“Although I worked with him in Platoon 12, I never fully understood him. I understand what you mean about a mutual understanding, that’s the same for me and Nicole.” Aria tried to understand. “Then are you holding up, Oliver? Jin-Woo was a close friend of yours.”
“I don’t know. Everything just feels like a nightmare that will end soon. And once I wake up everything will be back to normal. Yuri would be alive and looking forward to our wedding. Jin-Woo and Roger would be scrambling to find dates. And Nicole would be helping you choose your dress, while criticizing me for any of my crazy suggestions on the decorations.” Oliver answered as he continued to hug Aria. “None of this feels real and I dread seeing Jin-Woo once again because that would mean that this nightmare is reality. I don’t want to face it. But I have to if I want to keep everyone safe. It’s my responsibility, Aria. But it’s so hard to carry all of it by myself. Aria, please listen to my selfish request and help me carry it. I need you by my side or I might break. I am so grateful to have you by my side.”
“I’ll help you carry everything! You don’t have to do everything by yourself, Oliver! There are many people that care about you! There is me, my Mom, your brother, my sister, Nicole, Roger, and Colonel Kenta! And making sure we can escape to Lunaria is not your responsibility alone, it’s a combined effort from everyone! We all are putting our best effort to make our hopes become a reality!” Aria comforted Oliver with tears in her eyes. “I also need you, Oliver! I am so scared that all our efforts are for nothing, and Jin-Woo will kill everyone before we get a chance to escape! I can hold myself together because you’re by my side. We are here for each other, Oliver. Even though we couldn’t face this by ourselves, together we are able to keep each other going. We are partners in life, Oliver! We can face anything together because we are soulmates!”
