“Those idiots should hurry up and give us more funding and manpower!” Ayano said in frustration. “Have they not seen the destruction Jin-Woo has caused around the planet!? It’s been a month since he started his attacks, and he seems to be destroying more and getting more powerful!”
“Repurposing the spaceship we already have into the Inter-World Spaceship was a great idea. Now the project should take us five more months to complete, but even then, Jin-Woo is far more destructive than I expected. I don’t think we’ll finish in time before he destroys the whole world!” Oliver said with an expression of despair.
“Why hasn’t he attacked this area yet?” Ayano questioned.
“I believe it's because he is still attached to this area. I mean he grew up here and all of his emotional attachments are here!” Oliver said. “He could’ve destroyed this area that day.”
“Even if we are given more funding and manpower by the time we finish, the only places with people left might be Sol City and Noche City; the spaceship we are upgrading only fits 10 million people. That’s not enough for everyone in both cities.” Ayano said.
“We would need four spaceships like this one to fit everyone! Why are they taking their sweet time!? Are they trying to find another way to survive without abandoning Lunaria? Can they just see their battle efforts against Jin-Woo are meaningless?” Oliver was frustrated. “Jin-Woo keeps getting stronger and stronger as he absorbs Magical Energy!! We can’t do much with our limited resources! DAMN IT!! WHY COULDN’T I STOP THEM IN TIME!!? WHY DID I HAVE TO FAIL!?”
“Oliver!” As soon as Aria entered the lab she ran towards Oliver and hugged him. “Calm down. It wasn’t your fault. Jin-Woo and Yuri decided to destroy Achim and then the military killed Yuri. None of those actions are your fault! It was just a tragedy. Stop blaming yourself!”
“But I was there in front of them, and they were about to turn themselves in. Yuri convinced Jin-Woo that they should face the consequences of their actions, but then she was killed. Her death unleashed the monster inside Jin-Woo. Maybe if I had convinced them before Jin-Woo destroyed Achim, then Yuri would be alive!” Oliver had a dark expression. “I failed everyone!”
“Oliver, stop thinking like this!” Aria said in an attempt to comfort him. “We need you to complete the Inter-World Spaceship! If you fall into despair, then my Mom won’t be able to complete the project by herself! Lunaria needs you! If you feel guilty about what happened, then make sure the Inter-World Spaceship makes it to Earth!”

“Thank you, Aria! I feel much better!” Oliver kissed Aria. “I’ll do that!”
“I have good news!” Colonel Miyamoto entered the lab. “The top brass finally realized that we can’t face Jin-Woo. All the bases on the moons are being abandoned and all the scientists and engineers are coming back. They say that we will make four Inter-World Spaceships for everyone to fit. We have unlimited funding because we need this solution to work or else everyone is done for! Oh, and that guy also came here.”
Colonel Miyamoto pointed at the door with his thumb and a middle-aged man with gray hair wearing a lab coat entered the lab.
“Hello everyone! I am Professor Yichen Su.” Professor Su introduced himself. “It’s been a while, Oliver, Ayano. Oliver, I apologize about my apprentice’s mistreatment of you during your mission in Muna!”
“Apology accepted. Now we can focus on what’s to come.” Oliver said, looking at Professor Su. Aria stopped hugging Oliver and began holding his hand.
“You’re more experienced than me at moving larger teams. Do you have a plan about building these spaceships faster, Yichen?” Ayano asked.
“Yeah, I read all the documentation and blueprints you two have prepared and I have the gist of how everything works. Professor Hashimoto, I would like you to teach some of my apprentices how to make the Magic Circle you derived from the Hero Summoning Magic Circle. We need as many people putting Magic Circles around the spaceships as we can. And Oliver, you have experience converting the fuel system of the Moon Units into using Magical Energy Crystals as the energy source, so teach the engineers and technicians. We need to work on all the ships simultaneously. I suspect Jin-Woo will start his attack on Sol City and Noche City in about 4 months, that’s not a lot of time for us. We have no room for error in any of the processes. We’ll be working at full force starting tomorrow.” Professor Su explained.
“And what would you be doing?” Ayano was curious.
“I will be doing the boring stuff. I will oversee coordinating everyone, managing the project, and making sure everything goes smoothly and everyone can just focus on their jobs.” Professor Su replied. “I believe we’ll succeed. Us Lunarians, we'll triumph just as those many millennia ago as we triumphed against the Demon King!”
“I’ll also be included in the people making sure the whole process goes smoothly. Combat units will shift their focus on gathering supplies and materials, we don’t know how long we’ll be in the spaceships until we reach Earth.” Colonel Miyamoto said. “We need food, clothing and anything else we could need.”
“I am glad we have all the support we need. The people of Lunaria will be able to live on even if we must go to another world. Some of our ancestors were summoned from Earth and now we are going to their home world. It feels like fate runs in a cycle. Our ancestors were forced to come to Lunaria and now we are forced to go to Earth.” Aria said and she tightly held Oliver’s hand. “I’ll do everything I can to make sure our hopes on the spaceship become a reality!”
“Aria let’s get with the combat teams and coordinate our plan of action!” Colonel Miyamoto commanded. “Your Mom and your fiancé need to further discuss their plan of action with the Professor.”
Aria hugged Oliver one last time before heading out of the lab following Colonel Miyamoto. Oliver, Ayano, and Professor Su began to formulate a detailed plan for the next four months and because of their tight timeline the plan left no room for any errors or delays. All throughout Lunaria, despair and panic grew as the people became aware that the military was useless in stopping Jin-Woo. In the cities that still stood, people began to evacuate to Sol City and Noche City.
