The sun began to rise and little by little the mountain became covered in sunlight. Oliver and Roger were observing the surrounding area, anticipating an attack at any moment. As the sun rays began to hit them, they could feel their bodies heat up. Up in the sky, they could hear the faint sound of the Moon Units’ engines. Aria and Nicole were patrolling from up above. They could not detect anything or anyone. Governor Li was due to arrive at Achim in one hour from now. Oliver, Aria, Nicole, and Roger were questioning if Jin-Woo and Yuri would even do anything today alongside Sukui.
“Are you sure those two will be here?” Roger asked. “I don’t feel any Magic Power anywhere nearby.”
“Jin-Woo doesn’t have Magic Power and I taught Yuri how to hide her Magic Power.” Oliver answered as he looked at the military base at the base of the mountain. “We can only rely on our vision and hearing to detect them.”
“But we should be able to detect Sukui.” Roger said. “I don’t think Yuri taught those terrorists how to hide their Magic Power. Because if they learn, Sukui would be incredibly dangerous!”
“Don’t worry, Yuri won't do that!” Oliver said. “Besides, they only aim to use Sukui. I believe they will abandon Sukui once they kill Governor Li.”
“I hope you’re right!” Roger said with a concerned tone.
After one hour of patrolling, they could not find anything. Oliver looked at the sky and saw a helicopter fast approaching the military base. After it was above the base, it began its descent. Oliver and Roger observed the military base for a few minutes. Suddenly, they sensed many people approaching at fast speeds from the south. In just a few seconds, many military grade aircraft and 5 Sukui Moon Units appeared.
“I bet they brought their whole force!” Roger was surprised. More and more aircraft began to come into view. “Damn it!! Oliver, Sukui’s effort in this attack is on a whole different scale than the one at Sol City High! Even the people on Achim will struggle to defend!”
“They arrived right behind Governor Li. That must mean someone told them when he arrived.” Oliver said. “We couldn’t detect any Magic Power, so it must be Jin-Woo and Yuri. They must be somewhere with a view of the base.”
Aria and Nicole quickly unsheathed the swords of their Moon Units and rushed towards Sukui’s Moon Units. They slashed at two of the Moon Units and swiftly destroyed them. Then they engaged in battle with the other three Moon Units. From one of the aircrafts, a group of terrorists parachuted towards Oliver and Roger. Oliver and Roger took out their guns and began to fire at them. The other aircrafts sped towards the military base and more Sukui terrorists inside them parachuted towards the base. Oliver and Roger managed to shoot down some of the terrorists heading their way. The ones that managed to land began to shoot at Oliver and Roger. As they fired, Oliver and Roger activated Armor Ascension. Up in the skies more of Sukui’s Moon Units arrived on the battlefield.
Just how weak is their Armor Ascension that we managed to take down some of them with just regular machine guns! Oliver thought as he continued shooting and avoiding enemy fire. Damn it! They are shredding through my armor! I don’t know how long my Armor Ascension will last! I am using too much Magical Energy to regenerate the damaged portions!
After a few minutes, only two Sukui terrorists remained in front of Oliver and Roger. Without enough Magical Power to sustain their Armor Ascension, the spell faded away completely. They were left without the time to use their potions to recover their Magical Energy. Oliver and Roger were faster than the terrorist in pulling the trigger and shot down the last two. They let their guard down for a second and one of the terrorists they had just taken down threw a cylindrical object at them. Roger quickly assessed the situation, grabbed Oliver, and threw him away. The object exploded near Roger and Oliver could hear Roger screaming.

“ROGER!!” Oliver ran towards Roger as fast as he could. “Roger, are you okay!?”
“Oliver, my leg hurts! It hurts a lot!” Roger screamed. “Help me!! It hurts a lot! Please hurry!”
“Let me help you!” Oliver walked towards Roger. He stopped for a second after he witnessed the extent of the injury. Roger was missing his right leg, and he was losing blood at a rapid pace. Oliver’s expression dropped. “Roger let me use some Healing Magic on you! I am not as good as Yuri, but it will suffice as first aid.”
“Thanks, Oliver!” Roger’s face was strained. Oliver used Healing Magic and after a few seconds the bleeding stopped, and Roger could feel the pain slightly go away. “What’s the damage?”
“You lost your right leg!” Oliver said with a somber expression. “Why didn’t I notice that!? I failed you, Roger! I am sorry! I am sorry!”
“Don’t be sorry the one at fault would be Sukui! Those bastards will pay one day!” Roger said with tears in his eyes. “I was only thinking of saving my friend! My leg is gone, Oliver! I’ll have to retire and then what! I am only good at combat. I’ll become a useless cripple!”
“You’re a great leader, Roger. You have the skills to make it outside the military. We’ll be there for you.” Oliver said. “Thank you!”
Oliver could hear a helicopter out in the distance approaching them. Then his phone began ringing. He was about to decline the call, but he saw the caller ID and decided to answer.
“Colonel Miyamoto, Roger needs urgent medical attention! Please hurry! He needs to be seen by someone! We are at the top of the mountain.” Oliver spoke clearly, despite his panic. Oliver then heard the helicopter quickly approach their location. “So, you’re the one in the helicopter. Thank you!”
“I can hear the helicopter. Get me to a hospital, quickly!” Roger said, relieved. “I hope the pain can be stopped!”
“He will be here soon.” Oliver watched as the helicopter approached, hovering above them. Colonel Miyamoto jumped out of the helicopter.
“I’ll take him back! I only came because of a bad feeling I had. I guess my sixth sense didn’t fail.” Colonel Miyamoto said. The helicopter continued to descend until it hovered only a few feet from the ground. “Oliver, what are you going to do?”
“I’ll …” Oliver sensed a Magic Power that appeared and disappeared in quick intervals. “I guess you’re also sensing that. Yuri is calling me. I’ll go and confront her and Jin-Woo!”
“Make sure of it.” Colonel Miyamoto said as he carried Roger into the helicopter. “It’s chaos inside the base, but they are handling the attack well. And it looks like Nicole and Aria will take out Sukui’s Moon Units in no time.”
“Yes, sir!” Oliver said before taking off towards the flickering Magic Power.
Oliver ran for a few minutes before he saw two figures looking down the mountain into the military base. When he was 100 meters away from them, Jin-Woo and Yuri turned to him and smiled.
“I knew you would come after I sent my signal!” Yuri said. “I am glad you taught me how to hide my Magic Power. It helped us to stay hidden all this time!”
“Drink a potion, Oliver. I bet you’re low on Magical Power.” Jin-Woo said.
“Why did you do this?” Oliver asked as he approached the siblings.
“We already explained to you.” Jin-Woo spat out.
“Is this how badly you wanted your revenge!?” Oliver asked in an angry tone. “Do you realize how much damage you have caused!?”
“Xiao Li must pay for our parents’ deaths, and he must never be allowed to be the president of Lunaria!!” Yuri shouted angrily.
“Roger lost a leg because you guys helped Sukui!!” Oliver yelled at the siblings. “If he had not tossed me aside, I might’ve been killed!”
“Sukui!! This was not part of what we agreed! They will pay for what they did to my friend.” Jin-Woo yelled, looking at the military base, then he glanced at the Moon Units and made sure they were far away from the military base. “Sukui is no longer useful to us! Who told you guys to injure Roger?”
“That's right, Jin-Woo!” Yuri said. “They must pay for their transgression alongside Xiao Li!”
Jin-Woo’s face was full of rage. He raised his right arm and opened his palm. Slowly Oliver could see a white ball forming above Jin-Woo’s palm. The white ball continued growing until it was the size of a car. Oliver could feel the pressure being emitted by the ball. His instincts warned him of the imminent danger.
“JIN-WOO STOP THIS NOW!!!” Oliver yelled, then he drank a potion.
