"A divine weapon. I hadn't even thought a tier four capable of creating such a thing yet there it is." Hephaestus said with clear awe as she examined the staff in Nicks hands closely. He also agreed with her as well since he was fairly certain that many of the concepts that had been brought together to create this staff were beyond the reach that any tier four should possess normally. Even the ballad enchantments that he could use were not able to create a divine item at tier four as any normal one simply lacked the mastery and pure power required to do so.-
With the staff in hand Nick could even feel his own domains much more clearly and so he turned his hand and sent the staff to his realm so that his other body could accelerate the process of his transition to tier five. After that the two of them began to dismantle the artifacts that she brought with her for raw materials to upgrade the forge room to her standard. She was not the one who enchanted and created the equipment she previously used but after having spent centuries working with the stuff she had long since memorized the enchantments and material composition of the equipment.-
The furnace for example got entirely dismantled while preserving the flames he had for it as a new one was created that was considerably more powerful and useful. The new one not only allowed the use of all those flames and more but also allowed for the mixture of flames to empower ones craftsmanship even further. The engravers , molds , and various other pieces of equipment got the same treatment as they overhauled the entire workshop. The final result barely even resembled the rooms previous design which was a little off putting for Nick but he knew he would adapt quick enough.-
"Good , now I can begin crafting again." the goddess said pleased with the state of the area. Nick merely nodded and finally went back to work on the issues regarding the settlement he had been ignoring for a while to focus on the stuff with her and upgrading his crafting equipment. It was mostly mundane stuff like civil disputes or loopholes found in his rules that people have found. Making rules that applied equally to muggles and wizards alike was more challenging than one would assume as many things that would stop a muggle won't work on a wizard and the reverse is also true in some cases.-

Still as it was tedious but simple stuff like that Nick caught up fairly quickly and was finally able to start working on the really important stuff like expanding his magical communication network as well as claiming and fortifying more land around his area for farming and possible future city expansion. Sad as it was most of the small towns and villages all over the world had been destroyed by this point in time so there was a lot of room for expansion and reclamation.-
The first group of adventurers from the guild he created were also finally finished training and were ready to be sent out into the wilds to record and explore. So far they had only been doing the job of beast culling so the new freedom to get out there and do new and interesting things was very tempting. These new adventurers were given a special card that Nick created that had a few functions. First was proof of identity as each of them was bound to the soul of their owner and thus the guild always knew when a a person claiming to be an adventurer was who they said they were.-
The second was that the cards were connected to a matching one in the guild so when the adventurer lost their lives the guild knew about it immediately. The final use of the cards however was a point of contention as they also served as trackers so the guild could investigate the locations that the adventurers report on or die in. Some people liked the tracking feature and others abhorred it so it had mixed reviews.-
But it was still accepted for the most part due to the fact that it was only ever used by guild personnel who were under contract not to share the information with others outside the circumstances that it was necessary. This meant using the tracking feature to get revenge or to stalk an adventurer simply couldn't happen. Nick made sure that not even legilimency could be used to accomplish such a thing so anyone with that idea was in for a rude awakening.
