"Ah yes the Weasley car , fascinating thing really but was horribly missenchanted." Flammel said with a nod. "What would you expect from someone's casual pet project that they tried to stuff as many enchantments as possible in? Arthur Weasley never intended to make a functioning magical car to begin with but rather sought to satisfy his own curiosity with the thing." Nick said with chuckle. The core mechanics of the car was no different from any other but had enchantments layered on it's frame and body which meant that after the mana surged most of the mechanical parts simply stopped working.-
The car became decoration for the most part as it simply couldn't function any more. "While it's true that I could make a form of magical transportation similar to a car , why would I? What would be the point of me doing such a thing? Any beast could peel it apart like a clam to get the tasty snacks within which in turn wastes the materials and time needed to make the thing to begin with. The fact is muggles can thrive just fine without all the things that made their lives easier from before the ritual." Nick said seriously.-
Flammel nodded in agreement "You'll get no argument from me , I have seen them thrive without the stuff personally after all. Though helping replace the medical equipment they lost would be for the best to keep them healthy in the long run." he said helpfully. He had a good point and Nick could somewhat agree that the hit to the medical advancement of the muggles was going to drastically lower their lifespans if it wasn't fixed to a degree. Some things weren't needed since the wizarding world had long since figured out how to treat and cure most forms of illness but other things like cheap painkillers and a few choice illnesses were still troublesome.-
Dragon pox for example had a cure but still hadn't been eradicated quite yet and was especially dangerous for muggles. There were a few others but the main thing to consider was all the super boosted viruses and magical afflictions that will be popping up that wouldn't have a cure. "I will have to consider looking into that but for now I am focusing on trying to reach tier five to prepare for what is to come." Nick said honestly.-

"Albus did mention that you said an enemy of great power would be coming eventually but he was unaware of the nature of this foe. I had assumed that you have solved that problem already after sensing the being you are housing upon my arrival , it appears I was mistaken however." Flammel said seriously. "That" Nick said motioning to where Hephaestus was eavesdropping from "is Hephaestus and yes I do in fact mean THAT Hephaestus. The enemy coming is none other than Zeus himself so as you may understand we are not ready for him at all."-
"You and your wife are likely to be the most in danger upon his arrival as he will no doubt try and bring the most powerful on the planet under him with perhaps the exception of myself who he will almost definitely try and kill." Nick said honestly. Flammel looked reluctant to believe him which was totally fair given the nature of the information itself. "You will forgive me if I find it hard to accept that not only were the gods real but even that one of them is living with you. This being certainly feels powerful but not divine by any means." the old alchemist said seriously.-
"That is because she is suppressing her presence in order to not disturb the work here within this manor. I can ask her to stop if you would prefer?" Nick offered and Flammel slowly nodded. "You can stop eavesdropping on a conversation that you can't understand and come in you know." Nick spoke to the goddess who entered the room moments later with an embarrassed look. "I was under the impression that Hephaestus was a male deity?" Flammel said questioningly. "That was Zeus's doing actually. Something about feeling like fate was cheating him since the metal and creation domains were considered male in nature yet obviously she is not." Nick said with a shrug.-
Turning to the goddess Nick spoke again "My friend here didn't believe me when i told him who you were. Could you be a dear and let him experience your full power? A short moment aught to do." Nick requested and she nodded before a vast and oppressive feeling fell over the entire island and beyond for an instant before vanishing just as quickly. "That should serve as sufficient proof of my claims no?" Nick asked with a smirk as Flammel looked horrified at Hephaestus.
