The huge ancient dragon that held the memories and soul of the dwemer was not taken from the molten lake of course since that would condemn it it death as it was tier five but the rest of the species was moved. The big dragon didn't even care as it had been alone for an uncountable amount of years in the molten lake so not having others of the species there didn't bother it at all. The Easter break came and went before it was finally time for the exams to start up and things got hectic around the school for most students.-
Nick wasn't amongst those numbers as he had long since taken the individualized tests by the professors on the subjects and passed with perfect marks in everything except herbology which he had trouble with the practical portion as per normal for him. The additional classes he took the exams for besides the core classes had a weird air to them as the professors tried their hardest to have him stumble. Nick knew it was about their pride as teachers that didn't want them to just admit that their classes were useless to him.-
Besides helping his friends study and dealing with the pain of buying the ingredients for the ritual Nick focused his whole attention on the daedric book and finally he managed to fully understand it in it's entirety. He was finally ready to bind the realm to himself at any point he wished. There was still preparations to be made however as Nick needed to collect the rest of the ingredients for the rituals as well as a few things to feed the realm in order to complete its laws thus solidifying it as a much weaker version of a true world rather than the incomplete state it was in at the moment.-
Hagstones , cloud essence , volcanic crystals , iceberg hearts , life energy and several other things needed to be accumulated to feed their laws and concepts to the realm to complete it. The most important however was a leyline core. Leylines were basically the magical blood vessels of the world and if Nick wanted his own realm to passively generate magic by itself he needed to have the law rule added for it to have it's own leylines. Thus he required a leyline core that was created by this same law of the world and was where a leyline originated.-

Few wizards were foolish enough to openly own such a thing however as taking the core was the same as removing a leyline entirely from the world so while it was a very useful thing for a wizard it was also strictly and heavily taboo. That was why Nick was very secretive when he dove down into the sea far from any other wizards and then into the seabed below that the the leyline there. Even as he struggled with the vast amount of magic around him Nick removed the core and left hurriedly since a leyline disappearing even in such a far away area would be spotted immediately.-
He was correct too as on a global scale attention was immediately turned to that leyline once the core was removed and every ministry anywhere near it mobilized investigators. Nick had taken precautions however so even if the matter of someone having taken the core was known there was no traces of that person remaining on the site of the crime making it impossible to find him unless he was stupid enough to openly show it off. With the core in hand though Nick finally had everything he needed for this summer break when he would bind the realm to himself.-
"The exams were barmy this year , it was like they somehow made them even harder somehow." Ron complained when Nick was hanging out with his friends after the exams. "Oh don't be absurd , the exams were the same as they always are you simply didn't study hard enough." Hermione chastised. "Not everyone can spend all their time studying for the exams like you Mione!" Ron said defensively. "Nick does perfectly fine studying all time." Hermione defended her answer by throwing Nick under the bus.-
"Afraid I'm with Ron on this one Hermione. I'm a freak of nature so not really a great option to choose to back you up." Nick said with a grin. "Speaking of you studying what ever happened to that weird book you've been obsessed with recently?" Tracy asked curiously. "I finished understanding the contents so naturally I am no longer reading it." Nick said honestly. "Must have been something strange to take you that long to understand since I've seen you read an entire book once and never pick it up again." Daphne said and everyone nodded.
