Once he gets past that point though Ron was basically already set to make wands on his own. "So how confident are you in winning against Slytherin with their whole team outfitted with new brooms?" Nick asked Harry casually. "My nimbus is only slightly worse that the new model they have so I can keep up with Malfoy but the rest of the team is a problem. I'll be rough on them to be honest." Harry said seriously. "I imagine it will be but we know for a fact that Gryffindor teams trained much harder than the Slytherin thanks to Daphne and Tracy." Nick pointed out and Harry nodded in agreement.-
Oliver Wood had gone absolutely nuts on training this year after tryouts so the entire team was in peak shape for the game. It wasn't known outside the Gryffindor team but the twins had been making money hand over fist selling the workout potions to the team. This meant that the whole team had far more bang for their buck for all that intense training they did. This was going to be a very nasty surprise for the Slytherin team who was only slightly in shape since school work took up most of their time.-
The group made their way over to the great hall and ate breakfast before heading over to the pitch where Harry left them for the locker room. It was a slightly cloudy day with a bit of a chill in the air that had them bundle up with scarves. When the balls were released at the start of the game Nick frowned as he felt a foreign magic latch onto one of the bludgers that then targeted Harry. 'Why is he still causing trouble the chamber is not a threat anymore?' he thought before excusing himself from the pitch to track down Dobby.-
The elf wasn't hard to find at all as he was manipulating the bludger from under one of the empty bleachers nearby. Sneaking up on the hyper focused elf Nick pointed his wand at Dobby's back from up close "STUPEFY!" he said and Dobby didn't have any time to react before it was lights out. Using his magical senses Nick quickly found the slave binding to the Malfoy family thanks to Draco being nearby and directly cut it off freeing Dobby. Countering magic was easy when Nick had time to feel it out since he just needed to sent a pulse of opposite frequency magic at it and this was no different.-

"RENERVATE!" he spoke calmly and Dobby immediately regained consciousness but seemed in disbelief almost immediately afterwards. "Yes I freed you , now explain why you are still attacking Harry even though I have already gotten rid of the diary and the monster in the chamber of secrets?" Nick asked sternly. "The book is gone? A-and the monster??" Dobby questioned with wide disbelieving eyes. Nick rolled his eyes "If you had bothered to check you would already know about the diary being taken care of meaning Lucius's plan had already failed." he said impatiently.-
"H-how does sir know of these things?" Dobby asked horribly confused. "I know about the diary because the foolish thing tried to attack me and as for Lucius's involvement simple deduction really. Anything else or is that enough to satisfy you?" Nick asked in irritation. It would have taken Dobby maybe two seconds tops to check on Ginny and see that the Diary was completely inert yet had instead stubbornly tried to get Harry out of Hogwarts again. He had good intentions but it still irritated Nick to no end that he needed to set the elf right.-
Once that nonsense was dealt with Nick returned to the rest of his friends just in time to see Fred and George making themselves nuisances with the bludgers. Thanks to their great bodies they had developed a strategy that involved volleying the balls between them and flying an opponent into the crossfire. Harry didn't even get the chance to catch the snitch since the twins crippled both the Slytherin teams chasers ending the game with Gryffindor's victory. It was a rule that the game ended when no one could fill a position on a team due to injury.-
Was it frowned upon to win like that , yep , did the twins care , not even a little. Oliver Wood didn't care either since they had won but the Slytherin captain Marcus Flint was beyond furious and even almost started throwing curses. Seeing as the game was over Nick snatched the snitch out of the air with a thread of fire before handing it over to Madam Hooch to put away. Oliver Wood looked like he died a little inside when he saw that while Marcus Flint felt relief that Nick wasn't playing against them.
