Nick had made decent progress with his ability to inscribe runes onto the metal but he could tell that he was still a novice as not only did he still constantly make mistakes he also could only carve the runes fairly large rather than the tiny way used for normal enchanting. Sure he could technically use runes of any size for enchanting but the mark of a decent enchanter in this world was the ability to inscribe them neatly on any object at least the size of a ring. 'It's fine since I have plenty of time to get good at it.' he thought as he left the wand shop around dinner time to get some food.-
He decided to go back to Crumonte's place for food as the food their was exotic and interesting at the very least. The old man welcomed him back with a smile and handed over a menu as if he had expected Nick to show up. 'He probably did with how good the food was last time I was here.' Nick thought with a chuckle and picked out his drink and dish for the evening , salt baked chicken and pear cider.-
Just like his previous visit the food was wonderful and he was happy to pay the rather high price that was asked for the food at seven sickles three knuts this time. The old man asked if nick had been any interesting tales to share while stating that he loved to listen to them from his customers. So for the next hour while he waited for his food and ate Nick talked about the events of last year where he had all sorts of ups and downs. There was something about the elderly that made one want to vent to them about their problems and Nick was no different.-
The old man listened on with a smile and a interested look and even laughed , scowled and gave advice at certain parts of Nicks narration. Obviously Nick didn't go talking about the deeply private , illegal or secretive things that happened but mainly about the publicly known ones with a few personal details added in. He complained about Dumbledore's actions and the hidden dark lord that was the dada teacher. He talked about the plans his friends made thinking it was Snape after the treasure in the castle and the baby dragon as well as thieving Steve.-

After paying for his food Nick left in a good mood after having spoken about his tumultuous year while thanking the old man for listening. He was completely unaware that he had basically just fed Grindelwald an insiders point of view of the entire last years events pretty much. 'What a fascinating story , it seems that age is starting to catch up with you hmm old friend.' Grindelwald thought in amusement before closing the restaurant for the night since it seemed no one else was coming. The actual owner of the shop was meanwhile relaxing while his house elf cleaned up the mess from cooking the food.-
Nick turned in for the night content and eager for the lesson from Olivander the next day. Waking up Bright and early Nick ate a bit of lembas bread before heading out into the lobby of the store to find Olivander. The old man was chatting with Helena about the wand making practices of her time as much had been lost in the last thousand years. She was answering him too which was rather unlike her as towards most people she was quiet and distant.-
Helena pointed out that Nick was up and the old wand maker greeted him with a smile. "I assume you have reviewed the tome I provided to a least some degree?" he asked casually. Nick nodded and retrieved the books from Greed "I memorized their contents already and even copied them down into some blank books I have. I hope that's not a problem?" he asked worried that Olivander disapproved of his copying. The old man merely shook his head at nick's concern though " If i didn't plan to share the knowledge I wouldn't have given you the books to begin with." he said honestly.-
Meanwhile Arthur Weasley was not having a good day after visiting Dumbledore under the man's request. From this visit he had learned that the beloved family pet scabbers was actually the Animagus form of Peter Pettigrew this entire time and that he needed to keep an eye on the man without letting his family find out. To say that his blood was boiling in rage at the many implications that this information held would be a lie but he was a lawmaker for the ministry and knew how to contain his rage for the most part.
