“My god! This is delicious!” Clay softly exclaimed as took another slice from the fried fish on his table.
Counting by this world’s standards, today is the fourth day of new year and since his maid is not yet around, he had to frequently go out to feed his starving stomach.
Thinking back of the incident, he may have had overreacted.
At that time, Sar Aran personally visited and to convince him that they have no intention of harming him, another batch of rabbit were brought in. To his surprise, the incident was recreated and Sar Aran proved that horned rabbits remained harmless to humans. Clay saw the rabbits implode their Qi pathways due and died because they were unable to control the surge of Qi but regardless on how they died, he still decided to have those beast relocated back to the guild.
“Is everything to your liking, young master?”
Clay’s thought were disrupted when he heard a voice.
“Everything is fine.” Clay looked at the chubby old man. Similar to every restaurant he visited the past few days, the owner of the restaurant shows up as soon as he starts his meal.
At first, he was baffled and thought it was the norm but seeing that other customers were not being treated on the same level, it was then he realized it was due to the crest he was wearing.
Clay is not the type to gain attention and cause trouble but having tasted the dishes sprinkled with special treatment flavor, it was difficult to hide his identity.
Meanwhile, Clay is unaware that a luxurious carriage parked in front of the restaurant causing every curious eye to look. And shortly after, a man with clean cut hair wearing greenish robes stepped out and released a sliver of his aura to warn people.
“Who’s that?”
“What’s he doing here?”
The man ignored the murmurs and walk straight towards the counter.
"These are ten gold coins. I want to book this restaurant today."
“Sir… There’s….”
“I said, I want everyone to vacate this place now!” The man interrupted the owner and imbued his aura with killing intent alarming everyone and in just a few seconds, the restaurant was empty except for one boy sitting on a corner.

At the same time, Clay is still enjoying his meal despite the ruckus. And the reason he was unaffected is because the man approaching him is none other than Sar Aran. Who would have thought that a respected figure such as this deacon acts like bully.
"I can help recommend a few good restaurants deserving the reputation of being a student of a great master and someone bearing an Elven Crest.”
"The food here is quite satisfactory and I may drop by here again in the future, unless a wealthy man reserves it for himself", Clay responded as he took the final bites of his breakfast.
"When you are done with your meal, I would like to invite you to our office and discuss the matters you ordered the last time?” As usual, Sar Aran maintained an amicable expression.
"And what's wrong with this place?” Clay replied wondering how pretentious Sar Aran’s smile is all along.
"Can we at least discuss this matter inside the carriage? Believe me, it is for both our protection.”
Clay placed the spoon on the plate and stood up as he wiped his lips with his tongue then got to his feet.
Sar Aran felt relieve that Clay agreed and followed him to the carriage. He can only feel secured talking about valuable transaction in a place protected by a Sound Isolation Formation.
Upon entering the carriage, Clay was surprised as he felt like as the space inside did not reflect on how it looks from the outside. It is like he entered someone’s office.
“We have secured the Inscription materials you asked for and quite frankly, we have incurred massive loss during the trade and we have Lanas Family to thank for assisting us.”
Clay’s eyes widened as he looked at the items being brought out by Sar Aran but at the same time, the countenance on his face changed.
“Did you say Lanas Family? Those guys with blue eyes?”
“Indeed. To be precise, it was Lanas Da’am. In fact, you can personally get in touch with him using this token.”
Clay did not expect to be reminded of his trauma his vision started to blur.
“Are you alright?” Sar Aran was surprised to see Clay’s reaction.
“I’m fine. Just a little exhausted.” Clay pretended to be calm then took out two bottles containing three breakthrough pills each. After storing all the items Sar Aran brought out, he said, “May I go home now? I need to rest.”
“Sure.” Sar Aran was confused but before Clay could open the door, he clenched his teeth and said, “As I was saying, we were only able to acquire those materials because of someone’s help. And he is asking that if you concoct Tier III pills and decide to auction them, he asks for a simple invitation.” Sar Aran is still under the impression that there is a grandmaster Alchemist behind Clay but to avoid misunderstandings, he decided to go along with Clay’s claims.
“I’ll see what I can do.” Clay grabbed the spatial ring on Sar Aran’s palm then quickly checked the contents. Clearly there are other things inside aside from the Formation materials he asked for and it looks like some of them are ingredients for Tier III Pills and Bloodline Awakening Pills. Having checked items, Clay walked outside.
At the same time, Sar Aran noticed the sudden change on Clay’s behavior and as much as he wanted to console him, he clenched his fist and ordered to go back to their guild. In fact, it is probably for the best.
Last night when their Elder returned, Sar Ula’n announced that their guild will temporarily cease operations. Many raised their objections including him but when the matter of Blood Moon Sect and the cases of missing Alchemists were brought up, everyone can only swallow their pride.
